Oh no! The X Factor U.S is ending after three seasons. Poor Si’!
Fox and the show’s production companies announced Friday that the U.S. edition of the talent competition won’t be coming back this fall. Oo-er…
“X Factor” head judge and creator-executive producer Simon Cowell, will instead return to the U.K. version of “X Factor” later this year.
“I’ve had a fantastic time over the last 12 years, both on ‘The X Factor’ and ‘American Idol,’ ” Cowell said in a statement.
“And apart from being lucky enough to find some amazing talent on the shows, I have always had an incredible welcome from the American public — most of the time!”
The acerbic judge initially predicted that “X Factor” would be a major hit before its 2011 debut, but the show never garnered stellar ratings, which continued to dip in last year’s third season.
“X Factor” also failed to produce a winner as successful as past “Idol” champions.
The show’s hosts and judging panel was revamped each season with Paul Abdul, Antonio “L.A.” Reid, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato and Kelly Rowland among those joining Cowell on the panel.
All together now, Awww!

Telly host Steve Jones appeared to have it all, er, a couple of years back… Hayden Panettiere, Pamela Anderson and a plum job as Simon Cowell’s bitch frontman on the X Factor U.S.
Now, I hear that’s all a distant memory and Steve is back in the UK with his tail between his legs.
The pretty boy was spending most of his time here in Tinseltown hoping he would land another big break after being unceremoniously dumped by Cowell in favor of Mario Lopez and Khloe Kardashian. But alas, this was not on the cards for Steve.
The former star recently returned to the UK for a stint on Comic Relief and after getting a few work offers back in blighty he’s heading for safer shores to capitalize on his slim pickings opportunities.
And, I hear his model girlfriend Phylicia Jackson might join him, however, this is uncertain as of yet as she loves LA, I’m told.
A source said: “There’s a bit of humble pie being eaten. Things haven’t worked out there, but Steve gave it a good go.”
Hmm, well if you ask me, I’d say he was getting on a bit for a return to T4… Just sayin’
We miss ya, Stevie-boy… Um, NOT!

As we all speculated anyway, after showing enormous amounts of PDA earlier this year at a friend’s dinner party followed a few sleepovers, Simon Cowell has finally admitted he IS “dating” Carmen Electra, it’s been confirmed!
The X Factor supremo himself cleared up the rumors when he called in to On Air with Ryan Seacrest earlier this week to talk about the U.S X Factor finale.
During the interview Ryan cut to the chase and asked Simon if the 40-year-old beauty was his new girlfriend, and Simon openly referred to himself and Carmen as “people who date.”
So… not technically not his girlfriend, but close enough, I’d say?!
Cowell then added: “She’s adorable, isn’t she?”
In the past Cowell has been linked to Terri Seymour, makeup artist Mezhgan Hussainy, diamond beauty Zeta Graff and we can’t forget former ‘Idol’ judge, Paula Abdul — all sexy and exotic brunettes!
So, clearly she’s his type!

Woot-woot! Simon Cowell has officially confirmed that he will be returning for the 2013 series of Britain’s Got Talent… But I knew that ages ago!
Fellow judges Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon will also be back to find a new British variety star along with hosts Ant & Dec.
Cowell said: “I loved doing the show last year, the new panel worked really well and I’m very happy they have all agreed to come back.”
He added: “Last year was a special year for talent and I hope that in 2013, off the back of an amazing year for Britain, we find another global star.”
The announcement has sparked rumors that Cowell will also return to the judging panel of the British version of flagging talent show The X Factor next year after viewing figures this year hit an all-time low.
Cowell left the show in 2011 to sit on the judging panel of Fox’s version of X Factor U.S.
I bet fans are thrilled!

After flirting on the X Factor U.S set in mid-November, One Direction singer Harry Styles and country crooner Taylor Swift have been spending some (ahem) much publicized time together…
Less than 24 hours after Swift performed at KIIS-FM’s Jingle Ball at the Nokia Theatre in L.A, the music superstar jump on a jet plane to New York City to be by Styles’ side.
The date also came hours before OneD were due to perform a sell-out gig in front of 20,000 fans at the city’s iconic venue Madison Square Garden (Wednesday).
Finally the loved up pair got their chance to be alone (well sort of), at New York’s Central Park Zoo, where Swift and Styles, along with the fifty strong paparazzi chasing them down, showed off their affections for one another for all to see.
One on-looker described the couple as looking very happy, adding: “Harry and Taylor were walking next to each other. They seemed happy to be together, talking and smiling. Taylor seemed to be in a great mood.”
Ironically, Heartthrob Styles, famous for bedding a string of older women named Swift as his celebrity crush in the November issue of Seventeen Magazine…
So, be careful what you wish for as you might just get it…
Good luck to them, I say!

X Factor supremo Simon Cowell was left shaken earlier this week after jibes made by 80’s pop star Martin Gore shocked him to the core.
The telly boss fears that comments made by the rocker could be taken seriously, especially after the recent spate of shooting incidents across America this year.
Si hit back at the Dépêche Mode guitarist labeling Gore a ‘weirdo’.
Cowell’s rage came after 51-year-old Gore blamed Cowell for destroying the music industry.
He told Music Week: “I’m not advocating violence, but I think somebody should shoot Simon Cowell.”
Gore added: “His influence in the music industry over the last God knows how many years it’s been now. It’s just like; so many people think that that’s what music is.
“What happened to bands getting together? They are very few and far between now and the ones that do probably can’t afford to get into a studio and make a record.”
The 53-year-old pop mogul wasted no time in blasting back. He tweeted: “I read Martin gore wants to shoot me. He was in Dépêche mode. Do you realise how weird and stupid that makes you. Go and watch the news.”
“Why I am angry about weirdo gore is a ton of people have got shot this year and people. Like weirdo gore encourage this.”
I reckon Cowell’s feeling the strain after he became the latest celebrity to fall victim to a series of pranks that saw police being called to his luxury Beverly Hills home.
The anonymous sicko claimed there was “someone tied up with duct tape needing help”. After contacting the star, officers realized that was no such incident took place.
I agree with Si’, Martin Gore IS A weirdo and should know better than to say such stupid things in public… Gag Gore now, I say!

X Factor supremo Simon Cowell is being animated for a new Channel 4 (UK) television comedy – Full English.
In the cartoon, the mogul will be seen stripped naked wearing nothing but a white towel covering his naughty bits as he relaxes in his own self-named sauna – “Simon’s Sauna”.
The show, which begins on November 12, centers on the dysfunctional “Johnson” family, featuring parents Edgar and Wendy, and children Eve, Jason and Dusty.
And Cowell will feature in the very first episode, which spoofs Britain’s Got Talent, seeing daughter Eve auditioning with her band.
A misunderstanding leads Cowell to take pity on Eve and he ends up putting her through to the final.
The IT Crowd’s Richard Ayoade and Fonejacker’s prankster Kayvan Novak are among those voicing the characters.
This isn’t the first time that Simon Cowell has been parodied in cartoon form. The 53-year-old previously appeared in two episodes of The Simpsons, first in 2004 as a hard-to-please nursery admissions officer, and as himself in 2010 in a season finale, which centered on American Idol.
I can’t wait to see this!

Despite recent reports that X Factor supremo Simon Cowell is struggling with his emotions due to certain goings on behind the scenes in his private life, I can tell you that Simon is as happy as Larry right now.
The U.S version of his popular talent show has just been picked up for a third season and in his own words, Simon is “thrilled.”
But after seeing pictures of Cowell surface looking, well let’s just say a tad bit bloated, I do wonder if all I hear is true… Or has Simon, who recently hired a personal trainer after confessing to gaining weight, over done the botox and fillers?
As well as carrying some extra weight around his stomach, the music mogul stepped out with an unsightly double chin. Not to mention his puffy-faced appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno a few nights back.
There to talk up his latest adventures in TV land, the 53-year-old has been quite open in the past about using products to stay young looking, but as he sat chatting to Leno, Simon’s red blotchy was visibly fuller than previous on-camera appearances.
This has lead to speculation that he might be recovering from a facelift, and what we were seeing could be “post-op” swelling as his face is heals, I’m told.
A leading Beverly Hills cosmetic surgeon told me: “Simon may have had a full facelift. It looks to me as if his face is swollen post-op. If so, it will go down in a few weeks and we’ll see his face get back to normal in no time.”
Nevertheless, amidst all the media brouhahas, I’m told Si’ is “over the moon” right now, so I am sticking with that. This is probably nothing more than just a bad angle, or maybe he should just lay off the sheep placenta injections for a while. Just Sayin’!
