Tom Hardy to Battle Batman!?

Another comic book movie super-villain from the UK!
British actor Tom Hardy has reportedly been cast as the villain in the next Batman movie opposite Christian Bale as the caped crusader, as first reported by Deadline Hollywood. Due to the fact that Mad Max: Fury Road has been delayed, it appears Hardy is available to work on the untitled super-hero project that would reunite him with Inception director Chris Nolan and co-star Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Hardy would also be working alongside Morgan Freeman and Michael Cain on the film.
Insiders are keeping Hardy’s role a secret and will not even confirm that he will be a villain, but this is the most probable case. It would not be the first time Hardy played the bad guy in a major motion picture as he was the nemesis in Star Trek: Nemesis back in 2002.
Although Tom is already a star, this role might be what conclusively puts him on track toward international super-stardom, that is… if the rumour is true. Good luck Tom!
Inception’s Tom Hardy: I’ve had sexual relations with men!

Actor Tom Hardy, most recently featured in the film Inception starring Leonardo DiCaprio, is not afraid to admit that he has been sexually involved with men. Although he is engaged to British actress Charlotte Riley and has a two-year-old son with a former girlfriend, Hardy has not always been so heterosexual.
As reported by the Daily Mail, when asked if he has had any sexual relations with other men, the masculine actor replied: “As a boy? Of course I have. I’m an actor for ****’s sake. I’ve played with everything and everyone. I love the form and the physicality, but now that I’m in my thirties, it doesn’t do it for me.”
Hardy continued: “I’m done experimenting, but there’s plenty of stuff in a relationship with another man, especially gay men, that I need in my life. A lot of gay men get my thing for shoes. I have definite feminine qualities and a lot of gay men are incredibly masculine.”
In an interview with Now magazine, the British heartthrob revealed: “A lot of people say I seem masculine, but I don’t feel it. I feel intrinsically feminine. I’d love to be one of the boys, but I always felt a bit on the outside. Maybe my masculine qualities come from overcompensating because I’m not one of the boys.”
Hardy will next play a martial arts fighter in the dramatic film Warrior, to be released November 25, 2010 and will also take on the title role of Max in Mad Max: Fury Road expected to hit theaters in 2012.
In the new-millennium era, Hardy’s sexual exploration is not exactly an Earth shattering “revelation,” nevertheless many gay celebrities still struggle to be open about their homosexuality. Perhaps Hardy’s prominence and candid honesty will encourage others to be less ashamed of who they are.
The Inceptive Tom Hardy!

Move over Leonardo, Tom Hardy is here!
As millions flock to movie theaters to watch the sci-fi action thriller Inception, many movie-goers probably find themselves wondering who the dashing British actor is who plays the character of Eames. The name of this particular rising star is Tom Hardy. The 33-year-old London-born player has gradually been building an impressive reputation around Tinseltown and is on the verge of breaking out to become Hollywood’s next big leading man.
After studying drama in London, Hardy got his first big break in the acclaimed HBO/BBC miniseries Band of Brothers in 2001. The actor went on to work in various feature films like Black Hawk Down with Ewan McGregor, Star Trek: Nemesis opposite Sir Patrick Stewart, and most recently Inception alongside Leonardo DiCaprio.
Hardy is currently preparing to replace seemingly bi-polar Aussie Mel Gibson as the lead character of Max in the upcoming installment of the post-apocalyptic Mad Max franchise, Mad Max: Fury Road. South African actress Charlize Theron is rumored to be Hardy’s co-star in the film, which is slated for a 2012 release.
Maybe it’s about time Leo, and Mel for that matter, pack their bags and move to Shutter Island… eh Tom?
