Ricky Shows off his ‘Globes’ in Golden Underwear!

Now, after leaving a room full of Hollywood A-listers speechless on Sunday night, you can either go one of two ways… One, you can hide yourself away from the rest of Tinsletown and hope they will all eventually see the funny side, or two, you can pose in a tight gold pair of boxers, on a sunny balcony, and have the picture posted all over Twitter for all to ogle at.
As you can see Ricky Gervais prefers the latter… Clearly, and this is why we forgive him!
The British funnyman was presented with the golden boxers by Ellen DeGeneres on her U.S. chat show last week and was told to wear them for the special occasion.
We’re unsure if the 49 year old actually went through with his challenge, but he certainly showed them off the day after; along with his new trim body. A clever publicity diversion I ever I saw one.
I’m not advising you do this at home, but if you look closely, you can almost see Ricky’s very own Golden (ahem)… Globes!
Ellen then posted the picture on her Twitter page, along with a caption saying: “Please enjoy this photo of Ricky Gervais in my underwear.” We believe you Ellen; those golden undergarments could well be yours!
Leona Gets Seal of Approval From Hollywood Legend!

As the stars celebrated director Martin Scorsese at the Golden Globes last weekend –according to my spies, Scorsese had admiration for one of our fellow Brits – for the former X Factor winner Leona Lewis…
Apparently the film legend told stunning singer Leona that he listens to her hit song ‘Bleeding Love’ every day. Er… Really?
The word is the Oscar-winner plays the track while he runs and is a big fan.
Our Leona couldn’t believe it when he came over to pay her the compliment. A source said: “He was charm personified and told her he listens to I See You, was nominated for Best Original Song, but lost out to The Weary Kind in Crazy Heart.
The thing that surprises me most is not that Marty’s a fan of Leona – granted she is one of our finest exports after all – but that the legendary director likes to listen to power ballads when he works out! I had him down for more of a rock ‘n’ roll man, especially as he’s worked on a documentary about The Rolling Stones and a film about Bob Dylan.
Maybe he’s softening up in his old age and he’s all about the sexy divas now. Can we expect to see a documentary about Celine, Mariah and Whitney as his next project? Hmm… Hollywood never ceases to surprise me!
