They might be pushing forty but rave pioneers The Prodigy can still get a party started, only now it’s to a new younger audience (and of course us veteran ravers too).

The boys Keith Flint, Liam Howlett and Maxim Reality played the Hollywood Palladium last night and the crowd went mad to hits like “Smack My Bitch Up” and “Firestarter” as well as tracks from their brilliant new album, which was a hark back to their mid-nineties classics for me. Ah I can just hear it…

The Prodigy are renowned for being an amazing live band and they certainly didn’t disappoint me. They’ve got some more US dates coming up soon too, but anyone who’s going to see them headline at Glastonbury in June is in for a real treat.

So… glowsticks at the ready ravers, we will never grow up!
