It has been a little more than a year Spectre hit theaters and since then, the story of the next movie in the James Bond franchise has been a revolving door of confusion.
According to sources, James Bond bosses are said to be ‘panicking’ over the proposed 2018 film as they’ve not yet got a lead actor… Oo-er!
Producers are hoping Daniel Craig will return to the role but he’s yet to confirm whether he wants to take part.
MGM executives are reportedly at a “stalemate” with the 48-year-old star – with little contact between the camps.
An insider said: “Daniel and MGM are currently at a stalemate with him having not spoken to them about Bond.
“They have offered a bigger wage deal, and asked about his filming availability to his reps in 2017, but as yet they have not spoken to Daniel.
“They want Bond 25 out in October 2018, but currently they have no Bond, film dates or knowledge of when that will change.
“Daniel’s commitment is also a key part of whether Sony Pictures will come in to co-finance the film. So much is hanging in the air – and no-one knows.”
Sony and MGM have had a very successful partnership during the Daniel Craig era of Bond films, with 2012’s Skyfall being the high watermark of that partnership.
The movie was met with a ton of praise from fans and critics and was the first movie in the franchise to ever cross $1 billion at the box office. Spectre was a bit of a different story.
It was much more divisive among fans and critics and didn’t quite match the heights of ‘Skyfall’ at the box office, but still brought in $880 million. But perhaps more importantly, the shoot was exhausting and took a toll on Craig.
In an interview very shortly after the movie wrapped, he famously said that he would rather “slash his wrists” than do another James Bond movie. However, he more recently walked back those comments and seemed more interested in potentially returning.
The actor is currently working with Barbara Broccoli – executive director of the Bond films – on Broadway in New York where he is starring in Othello.

This news breaks my heart, but according to sources, Daniel Craig has turned down a £68 million (that’s around $900 Mil U.S) offer to play James Bond in two more movies.
The 48-year-old actor – who has portrayed 007 in four films – has rejected the huge offer and told bosses he is “done” playing the suave super spy. Oo-er!
It’s thought the whopping deal would be made up of profit shares, endorsements and a role as co-producer.
A Los Angeles film source told the Daily Mail: “Daniel is done – pure and simple – he told top brass at MGM after Spectre. They threw huge amounts of money at him, but it just wasn’t what he wanted.
“He had told people after shooting that this would be his final outing, but the film company still felt he could come around after ‘Spectre’ if he was offered a money deal.”
The Hollywood actor’s future as Bond has been the subject of much speculation in recent months.
Just last week, British actor Tom Hiddleston was spotted meeting with Bond director Sam Mendes and producer Barbara Broccoli in London – fuelling rumours he could be the next 007.
An onlooker said at the time: “At first it was Barbara, Tom and another good looking young man. Then Sam Mendes joined them at about 11pm and they stayed until around 1am … There was lots of laughter; they all looked to be having a very jolly time.”
This prompted some bookmakers to suspend betting on Tom taking on the role next, but the actor insisted earlier this month that he hadn’t been offered the part and wasn’t aware that Daniel – who is married to actress Rachel Weisz – had hung up his Bond tuxedo.
He said: “The thing is, the position isn’t vacant as far as I am aware. No one has talked to me about it.
“I think the rumours have all come about because in the ‘Night Manager’ I play a spy and people have made the link.”
Last year, Daniel – who has starred as 007 in Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and 2015’s Spectre – said he would “rather slash [his] wrists” than portray the spy again, but later admitted he would do another Bond movie “for the money”.
He also threw his Bond future in doubt when he signed up for 20-episode US TV series Purity.
He will be missed as James Bond!

British star Tom Hiddleston has already impressed audiences with his turn as the devilish Loki in Marvel’s “Thor” and “Avengers” films, and the actor says he is willing to take up the role of James Bond too.
The actor has openly admitted he thinks playing James Bond in a future film “would be an extraordinary opportunity” for him… Er, yeah Tom, I’ll say!
Daniel Craig, who has starred in several 007 movies in recent years, including Spectre, Skyfall, Quantum of Solace and Casino Royale, currently portrays the fictional British Secret Service agent.
There are numerous actors being touted as perfect replacements for Craig when he retires from the role.
Hiddleston says he’s elated to be mentioned with peers like Idris Elba, Damian Lewis, Tom Hardy, Colin Firth, Aidan Turner and Michael Fassbender.
“Time magazine ran a poll and there were like, 100 actors on the list, including Angelina Jolie,” Hiddleston gushed to The Sunday Times.
“But yes, it’s nice to be included in the 100. I’m a huge fan of the series. We all went to see Spectre when we were shooting Skull Island in Hawaii. I simply love the theme tune, the tropes and the mythology.
“I love the whole thing. If it ever came knocking, it would be an extraordinary opportunity.”
Hiddleston believes he’d fare well depicting 007 even though the action-intensive role is very physically challenging.
“I’m very aware of the physicality of the job,” he added.
Well, that sounds like a yes to us. And if anyone thinks that Hiddleston isn’t up for the job, rest assured it’s clear from that comment he knows what he’ll be getting himself into.
Hiddleston portrays a UK Special Air Service tracker in forthcoming action-adventure fantasy Kong: Skull Island.

Let’s be clear: Daniel Craig hasn’t hung up his boots just yet. But in a recent interview he was happy to embrace the topic. Does he care who plays Bond next? ‘
The heartthrob Brit has admitted that he actually doesn’t care who replaces him as James Bond 007, and calls for an end to the debate. Oo-er!
It is widely speculated that Craig is to be stepping down from the franchise after Spectre, though he didn’t mention any of the actors who have been tipped to take over, including Damian Lewis.
It is also rumored that British actor Idris Elba is to take over. If Elba is chosen then be the first black star to play Bond if given the part. And as for the rumors of Tom Hardy, I can’t see that one happening…
Craig did respond to the wild theory that David Beckham might be a future 007. “Good luck to him! If he doesn’t get that football team going in Miami, that’s probably a good idea!”
However, Craig says skin color should be irrelevant when casting the new 007. I definitely agree with that.
Daniel said: “The right person for the job should do the job, and I don’t give a f*** what color their skin is,” he tells Britain’s Culture magazine.
“It shouldn’t be an issue. We should have moved on.”
Craig’s latest film in the series, Spectre, sparked rumors that it would be his last, but the actor has hinted that his fifth 007 movie will be his last.
“I’ll keep going as long as I’m physically able,” he told Britain’s Event magazine.
“I’m contracted for one more – but I’m not going to make predictions.”
Craig first appeared as 007 in the 2006 movie Casino Royale.
Since then he has starred in three other films in the series with the latest, Spectre, to be released in U.S in November.
I cannot wait!!

Is it me, or is Adele shrinking?
The Rolling In The Deep and Skyfall singer has been criticized in the past for her fuller figure, but now it appears she it shedding the weight after she was recently snapped with a slimmer figure and more prominent cheekbones… Go, go Adele!
The Oscar winning star had been very adamant in the past and often said she did not care about her looks. She also said she would only reduce weight if her health or love life would get affected.
She has always insisted she was never a fitness freak and said that her life contained too much drama with too little time, often saying she “loved her curves” and never feels like hitting the gym.
Adele also loved food and liked drinking fine wine. She was always against following starvation diets.
However, now her lifestyle seems to have changed. From her recent appearance one can clearly say that she has worked out and lost weight. Her face looks slimmer than before.
According to sources, Adele enjoys Pilates with her personal trainer. She has also begun running and working out regularly post pregnancy. Sources also say that she has given up smoking. After becoming a mother, she has also switched to a vegetarian diet for health reasons and her love for animals.
Perhaps the star’s new look is the result of a healthier way of eating and exercise.
We love you Adele. You are certainly worth your weight in gold… And that’s no joke!

Daniel Craig is back! The British star, 46, will continue his run as the famed James Bond in a new movie next year.
The 46-year-old actor will reprise his role as Bond in “Spectre,” director Sam Mendes announced during a press conference Thursday morning at Pinewood Studios in the U.K.
After previously appearing in Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, and Skyfall, Craig will star in an upcoming 2015 installment called Spectre.
Mendes will return to helm, which also stars James Bond movie vets Rory Kinnear, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, and Ben Whishaw.
The title is an acronym for Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion.
The high-octane action flick will make its debut more than three years after Mendes introduced Skyfall and scheduled to begin shooting over seven months from Monday with a story that follows Bond going on a trail to uncover a sinister organization after receiving a cryptic message from his past.
“I felt an attachment to the characters that we created in Skyfall,” the director said in an interview with BBC Radio. “I felt like there was unfinished business, and that there was a lot more I could do with them once I’d kind of stepped aside and had some time off.”
Due out on Nov. 6, 2015, the 24th James Bond movie will introduce some new faces to the decades-long franchise.
Christoph Waltz has been tapped for a character named Oberhauser, Dave Bautista will play Mr. Hinx, Monica Bellucci will star as Lucia Sciarra, Léa Seydoux will play Madeleine Swann, and will appear as character Denbigh.
Sounds like a great cast indeed… I’m a massive Bond fan and an even bigger Daniel Craig fan! #excited!

Oscar winning musician Phil Collins thinks Oscar winning singer Adele is a “slippery little fish”… Oo-er!
The legendary Genesis drummer has been a prominent figure in music since the ’70s and counts Ice-T, Pharrell Williams and Wyclef Jean as famous fans.
Superstar songstress Adele is also an admirer of his work, although his hopes of them working together have seemingly been abandoned. Aww…
“She’s a slippery little fish is Adele,” Phil laughed in a recent interview. “She got hold of me and asked if I would write with her. She gave me a piece of music to finish and at first I didn’t know if I’d failed the audition as I didn’t hear back from her.”
He explained, “Then she said, ‘No, no, I’m moving house and the baby’s taking up a lot of my time, I’m not actually doing anything at the moment.’ And now I’ve heard there’s a 29 coming out. I’m not on it, I know that.”
The snub will come as a blow to the Can’t Hurry Love singer, who heaped praise on Adele when he confirmed their collaboration earlier this year.
He said: “I’ve just started to work with Adele. I wasn’t actually too aware [of her work]. I live in a cave, but she’s achieved an incredible amount. I really love her voice. I love some of this stuff she’s done, too.”
The duo has a lot in common, however, as they both have achieved huge mainstream success without courting publicity and that’s a rare feat these days!

She has won an Oscar, nine Grammys, and has sold millions of albums around the world– so it’s only right that Adele now has a few letters after her name like um, MBE!
The 25-year-old star collected her honor today at Buckingham Palace from Prince Charles and her full title is now Miss Adele Adkins MBE, oo-er!
The Someone Like You singer, who achieved worldwide success with her second album 21, looked relaxed as she chatted to the Prince of Wales before being bestowed with her title.
The notoriously private star did not talk to the press at the prestigious event, but posed happily with her medal.
The royal honor tops off a great year for Miss Adkins. Although she didn’t release any new material, she won an Oscar for the James Bond theme song Skyfall at the start of the year, and it was announced that “21” is Amazon’s biggest-selling album of all time, with 28 million copies being sold around the world.
Adele has been lying low since the birth of her son Angelo last year.
Congrats to my fave singer ever… We love you Adele!!!
