Sharon Osbourne is following in the footsteps of her fellow America’s Got Talent judge, Piers Morgan, by taking on hosting duties of a major American network television talk show. The former X Factor judge will join five other women to co-host a new CBS daily daytime programme meant to replace the soap opera As The World Turns, which is about to finish a 54-year run.

The matriarch of the Osbourne clan will host alongside Sara Gilbert, who played Darlene on the American comedy series Roseanne; Holly Robinson Peete, most recently seen on Celebrity Apprentice; Marissa Jaret Winokur, Broadway actress; Leah Remini, from The King of Queens, and Julie Chen, host of the American version of Big Brother. The name and launch date of the new show have not yet been announced.

One can’t help but consider this new talk show to be CBS’s copy of rival network ABC’s successful The View, but I’m guessing people would rather watch Shazza over Barbara Walters any day! Score one more for the Brits taking over American telly!

Kelly Osbourne has reportedly split from her fashion model fiancé Luke Worrall. Apparently airing their dirty laundry in public via Facebook, the couple is said to have rowed whilst posting to one another on the social media site – only to delete their postings soon after.

Regarding the “matter,” Sharon and Ozzie’s daughter later tweeted: “Thank you all so much for your support but the matter is private and will not be commenting, enough damage has already be done!”

The reality star and Worrall began dating in 2008 and confirmed they were engaged in 2009.

I sincerely hope Kelly finds happiness despite this seemingly emotionally tolling experience… but honey, if “the matter is private,” and you want to keep it that way, do not go around leaving posts on Facebook and Twitter for everyone to see! Unless… publicity stunt? It wouldn’t be the first time such a stunt was attempted by a reality TV celeb.

Good heavens! Sharon Osbourne stepped out last night bare-faced and in baggy jeans.

The 57-year-old was casually dressed for dinner in the jeans, a cool pair of brogues and NO make up, but still stopped to pose for photos. And although her jeans were loose, her face was still unlined!

Sharon’s made no secret of her facelift and slimmed down to a size with help from a gastric band and lipo, but one newspaper today suggested that maybe she was wearing the jeans to hide a bit of weight gain and said “in recent weeks the talent show judge has been photographed appearing increasingly round.” How rude!

Maybe Shazza just wants to be comfy. Or maybe she has put on a few pounds… So what? Besides if she wants to lose a bit of weight, I’m sure slimmed down Kelly can give her a few tips!

However, knowing Sharon, I’m sure she couldn’t give a sh*t what anyone says about her!

Sharon Osbourne could never be accused of being a shrinking violet but she’s going out of her way to make her mark on the Celebrity Apprentice.

In fact, she reckons that her co-stars make for pretty rubbish TV.

Last night she told her team-mates, swimmer Summer Sanders and actress Holly Robinson Peete, ‘Without Cyndi, [her pal on the show] this would be the most boring thing. You guys would be like watching ice melt.’

Sharon’s one of the favourites to win the show and Trump has made no secret of his admiration for Osbourne, he said recently, ‘She’s obviously a great character on the show.’

Good job she is only a competitor otherwise she’d be the one kicking the others off the show herself… I’m sure feisty Shazza would love the chance to scream at the other contestants those famous words, “You’re fired!”

So watch out Donald or else Sharon might being wanting your job next!

Kelly Osbourne’s been wowing us with her style of late but her latest accessory was more ‘ow’ than ‘wow’.

The Dancing with the Stars celeb fractured her elbow after separating two of her mum’s pooches who were fighting in Malibu over the weekend.

Last night my pal Kelly tweeted: “I fractured my elbow this weekend and it is hands down the most painful injury I have ever had!

“To cut a long story short I was trying to stop the dogs from fighting at my mums and managed to fracture my radial head! ”

Poor Kelly. I hope you’re not feeling too, er ruff! (sorry)

How quickly Oscars came around this year. It seemed I’d only just taken off my tuxedo in 2009, then BAM! It was back on again in 2010 for the best party in town – Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Party held at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.

This year the event raised a staggering $3.9 Million for the fight against HIV and AIDS.

Presented by Chopard, Jo and Raffy Manoukian and Neuro Drinks, the EJAF Viewing Party continues to be the leading fundraiser on Oscar night in Hollywood. The couple’s bash has become a staple for all those without an invite to the ceremony itself and this year’s guest list read like a ‘who’s who’ to the entertainment world’s biggest names, and one of the best parties thrown by the EJAF so far (still no goodie bag however, but you can’t have everything I suppose, eh David!)

I arrived with my trademark date, the stunning diamond beauty, Zeta Graff, and the evening began with a cocktail reception, dinner and viewing of the 82nd Annual Academy Awards, followed by a very exciting live auction and a high voltage performance by the iconic Grace Jones.

“I’m so blown away this year, it’s fantastic,” Elton said. “It’s our stable fundraiser for the whole year, this is by far the most important, it gets us the most publicity and it raises the most money.

“It’s hard work because you have to walk around shaking hands with everyone but when we go home and it’s all finished we’ve met people and we’ve seen great entertainment close up.”

Drawing out quite a few of our favorite celebrities, Victoria Beckham and Heidi Klum were spotted looking as elegant as ever – even Victoria (who I often label Vic-bore-ria) was far from boring when she grabbed me and gave a big hug as she exited the ladies loos, “Sean!” she yelled… “How are you? I’m a bit drunk so no photos!” OK, so Posh is back in my good books!

Not far behind the beautiful models were “Glee” co-stars Lea Michele and Cory Monteith, followed by a brunette Hayden Panettiere.

Representing the Brits this year were the likes of recently engaged Simon Cowell who was glued to his foxy fiancé Mezhgan Hussainy all night, Mel B, fashion designer Julia Clancey, Amanda Holden, Michelle Collins, Katie Price, and Sharon and Kelly Osbourne who stopped to have her picture taken with me. Kelly was one of my favorites of the evening to be honest, beaming from cheek to cheek. She told me that she was feeling on top of the world, and who could blame her, you only have to look at the transformation she has undergone – quite unbelievable.

Nicole Richie made her way into the swanky party along with Kimora Lee, Christina Hendricks, Michelle Rodriguez and the very lovely Jennifer Hudson who also stopped to chat to me, Jennifer told me she happy when she heard Simon [Cowell] was engaged: “I am so happy he is finally settling down,” she told me.

Miley Cyrus also hit the party with Liam Hemsworth. Cyrus finally confirmed what we already knew, that Liam was her official boyfriend, and Miley told the press at the event, “I think we’re both deeper than normal people—what they think and how they feel. He’s very grateful for what he has, but he doesn’t let it go to his head. I’m like that too.” How sweet!

It was a long day! Fabulous food, lots of chocolates and wall-to-wall celebs… I could have stayed all night and kipped (slang word for slept) in the corner till morning, but thankfully sometime just after midnight I was rescued by dear friends, British actor Craig Young and Michael Di Girolamo who dragged me into their chauffeured limo!

What fun was had, my gorgeous ‘Graff’ date, my photo with Elton, Kelly Osborne’s super-slim waist, Posh and Price all smiles, Godiva chocolates, and nearly $4 mil’ raised for charity… Ah, now I can rest my weary head, it was a night well worth it, roll-on next year!

A trim Kelly Osbourne stepped out at NY Fashion Week yesterday, looking more like my pal Paris Hilton than herself.

The 25-year-old – who dropped a stone during her first three weeks of Dancing With the Stars training – has kept the weight off and even dropped a few more pounds.

She said: ‘I was expecting to put on weight after the show, but I’ve actually lost a few more pounds. I think my metabolism is just faster now.’

Her short leather dress was the only tell-tale sign that it was the rock offspring of Ozzy and Sharon, rather than another blonde socialite doing the rounds.

You look great Kell, but don’t shed your personality along with the weight. We expect you to keep mouthing off, swearing like a trooper, and injecting some much needed personality into the celeb world. There’s plenty of C-listers who can just do thin and blonde!

There wasn’t a dry eye in the Osbourne household last night when little Kelly O’ brought her mother Sharon Osbourne to tears after she proved she can master some fancy footwork with her ‘impeccable’ debut on US telly’s Dancing With The Stars.

The former rebellious rocker child had proud parents Sharon balling their eyes out, with Ozzy Osbourne leading the crowd to a standing ovation after Kelly performed a Viennese Waltz.

Partnered by Louis van Amstel, she earned the second highest score of the night.
