Anne Hathaway Gets Royaly Racy On Saturday Night Live!

SNL-Prince-William-and-Middleton-

With the announcement of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s engagement, spreading across the globe, it was only a matter of time before Saturday Night Live gave the world there comical take on the exciting news.

The hilarious sketch saw Anne Hathaway dress identically to how the real-life Kate looked on the day the happy news broke…but this time the news wasn’t taken so well. Poor “Kate” was reduced to tears by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip, as soon Prince William, played Andy Samberg, left you room. The Queen’s polite well-spoken manner was sharply thrown aside and replaced suddenly with a foul-mouthed cockney accent.

“We welcome you to our family with open hearts,” turned to “Shut up. Shut your mouth,” as the Queen, played by Fred Armisen, stood with one leg on a chair, hitching up her skirt.

The abuse towards Kate flowed more frequently from the Queen with remarks like, “You think you can just show up and take over and do a bit of Queening?” and accused her of wanting a piece of their ‘palace action.’

Prince Phillip, played by Bill Hader, threw in his advise to the future Princess, “When it comes to being a wife, when you’re out there waving to a parade, you be Princess Di, you be Princess Grace. But in the bedroom think Fergie”

As soon as William reunited with his fiancée, his grandparents returned to their seats and acted as if nothing had happen… I can safely say that life didn’t imitate act in this case and I’d like to say congratulations to Prince William and his beautiful wife-to-be Kate on their engagement.

Katy’s Saturday Night Live Debut!

Katy Perry will be stopping by 30 Rockefeller Center in NYC later this month to make her debut as musical guest on the season premiere episode of the popular sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live. Perry will be joined by host and former SNL cast member Amy Poehler, who currently stars in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation.

The Saturday Night Live premiere episode will mark the beginning of the show’s thirty-sixth year on television. The episode will be broadcast live on NBC on September 25.

It is probably safe to assume that Katy will sing at least one song from her new album Teenage Dream in an effort to promote it, but I wonder if Russell will make a cameo appearance as well. I have the feeling that, when it comes to Katy and Russell, anything can happen… especially when they are on camera live in front of millions of viewers.

Law Gets Laughs On SNL…

Posted on March 15th, 2010 at 1:15 pm by

Jude Law did a great job presenting Saturday Night Live this weekend, with his skits showing that he’s a good sport who likes a laugh.

He dressed up in wigs, sported a codpiece and put on several different accents, including Spanish ladykiller and Russian ballet dancer. He even poked fun at his 2004 film flop Alfie.

In fact the only time his GSOH dropped was when teen Indian host Ravish brought up his lovechild with Samantha Burke in a talk show segment.

Law opened his mouth in shock before he started smiling nervously: ‘OK, ok, that’s enough Ravish… that tabloid stuff isn’t really nice to talk about in an interview. Maybe I should just go.’

Jude hasn’t shown much sign of a sense of humour in the past. He’s known for being bad tempered with paps, who in return call him ‘Dave’ (his real name is David Jude Law) to try and provoke him.
