Perry’s Pal Rihanna Blabs Secret Wedding Plans!

Nice to know Katy Perry’s best pal, singer Rihanna can keep a secret – NOT!

So when the ‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer asked her mate Rih’ to help organize her and Russell’s big day, I’m pretty sure she was meant to keep schtum… So much for keeping a secret a under your hat, or Rihanna’s case – Umbrella!

Instead, what does Rihanna go and do? She blabbed some of the top secret details live on US radio… How verrry dare she!

While being interviewed by DJ Ryan Seacrest yesterday, Rihanna said: “I have to come up with something cool because she is getting married in India so I’m like, ‘OK, now what do I do to match that?’

“That’s at the end of the year so we’ve got some time to plan.”

About planning the ‘do’, the singer then told that Katy and Russell [Brand] would be getting married in Jaipur, where Russell proposed on New Year’s Eve. Onion Bhaji’s and poppadoms all round!

Thanks for letting us in on that one Rihanna! However, I am pretty sure that little bit of leaked information has knocked quite a few thousand quid off Russell and Katy’s OK Magazine buy up… Um, that’s if the scruffy couple were indeed intent on even doing a deal. Ahem!

Katy ‘Brands’ Russell a Total Bridezilla!

When singer Katy Perry said her fiancé, funnyman Russell Brand was turning into ‘a total bridezilla’ she wasn’t joking if this twittered pic that Perry posted is anything to go by…

The hysterical snap shows Brand still looking scruffy as if needing a bath, but in a glamorous beaded laced wedding dress with matching veil.

Possibly an indication of what’s to come on their big day, perhaps?

According to close friends, the I Kissed A Girl Singer has always approached the idea of marriage in a very chilled-out manner, however Katy recently said: ‘I’m preparing a little bit here and there.’

Russell, however, has come out with all guns blazing. ‘He’s like a freak, man. You should see – he’s always, like, buying bride magazines,’ Katy adds.

‘Every time we go out for breakfast he’s like, ” Can we just stop and get a bride magazine?”’

‘He wants everything monogrammed,’ she said.

Well, at least now we know who wears the trousers in THEIR relationship, but it still begs the question just who’ll be wearing them walking down the aisle?

Happy Bunnies: Katy Perry and Russell Brand’s Egg-cellent Easter Partaay!

Funnyman Russell Brand and his bird, (er, or should say bunny in this particular case,) Katy Perry, threw open the gates to their uber-fashionable Hollywood hills abode yesterday for a fun filled Easter Sunday bash for all their tinseltown chums.

Perry, clearly getting into the spirit of things (the Americans do that so well you know…) sported a pair of bunny ears to mark the ‘egg-travagant’ occasion, whereas Russell… Er, well Russell just looked liked his typical scruffy self as if needing a good bath if you catch my drift (love him still, however!)

And not to disappoint the Brits in attendance, Brand’s stateside ‘partaay’ ended only just a few hours ago, when Katy tweeted: “Goodnight bunnies and babies and pink and lavender and sea foam greens. Goodnight little chickens and glitter spilling out of plastic eggs.”

Nice to know they’re still going strong after so many split stories doing the rounds, and if what I’m hearing is true, the newly engaged couple are currently in the throws of planning their wedding rumored to be taking place at the end of the summer. Egg-cellent news!

Does Katy Know You’re Out Russell?

Now I think about it, I can’t understand why it hasn’t happened before. Russell Brand at a Victoria’s Secret party? It seems like an obvious invite to me!

The loose-lipped lothario was there to help celebrate the launch of the brand’s new swimwear catalogue along with models Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel.

Maybe he was just browsing for a swimming cossie for fiancee Katy Perry… Hmm, I wonder!

US Sport is a Load of Balls, Says Russ!

Russell Brand reckons basketball is nothing compared to watching his beloved West Ham and wasn’t impressed with the LA Lakers game he saw last night.

The footy mad star hung out courtside with fiance Katy Perry but when he couldn’t get into the sport, he voiced his frustration in a series of Tweets. In fact, there were so many it seemed like he spent more time Tweeting than watching the match!

As he arrived, he posted: “Lakers tonight. I’ll be courtside” and then quipped: “Kobe [Bryant] must focus on three balls because I refuse to wear underpants.”

And once he got home, the game was obviously still on his mind. He tweeted:

“What is a Laker anyway? A sub aquatic Quaker? It doesn’t make sense.”

“And they pick the ball up in their hands. God, I miss West Ham.”  At one point he also said: “I’ve just heard the Lakers are all millionaires! How! I put my balls in a basket ONCE and I was thrown out of the maternity ward.”

OK Russ we get the idea – you’re not into basketball and the players are overpaid. Thing is, with courtside seats at the Lakers costing around $3300, you’re obviously not short of a few bob either!

Russ Takes Katy on the Heath – No, Not Like That!

Reformed sex addict Russell Brand seems to be behaving himself these days and has been faithful to girlfriend, singer Katy Perry for weeks now.

The loved-up pair are currently staying at Russ’s North London home and spent the day frolicking in the snow on Hampstead Heath in London, even borrowing a sledge from a local child to go for a ride down the hill.

And if there’s one thing my pal Brand knows how to do, it’s how to make a girl shriek, so he must have been chuffed to bits when they flew down the hill and Californian-born babe Katy started whooping.

After finishing the ride, Russell gave the sledge back to the delighted kid before going for a romantic stroll with Katy. Could Russ’s New Year’s resolution be monogamy? Ah, it must be love!
