Calm down Twi-hards, it’s only eight days until Twilight: Eclipse hits cinemas and Bella is once again torn between vampy Edward and the pec-tacular Jacob. But it looks like life might be imitating art in these pics!

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are in Sweden promoting the new movie while Robert Pattinson (luckily for Lautner) has had to stay behind to film Water for Elephants, and it looks like the close pals are closer than ever.

Usually whenever the threesome is together, Taylor is left playing gooseberry with Rob and Kristen, but without RPatz in the picture he’s getting all Kristen’s attention. And judging by the crowds at their events – plenty of attention from lots of other ladies too!

A fortnight before The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will hit theaters, distributor Summit Entertainment has officially announced that the final Twilight story, Breaking Dawn, will in fact be divided into two separate films.

This brings the total installment count to five Twilight films in all. The first half of the two-parter  is scheduled to be released in November, while the release date of the final, final film remains unannounced. Both halves of Breaking Dawn will be filmed back-to-back.

This announcement does not come as a shock considering the extensive length (900 pages!) of the book by Stephanie Meyer on which the films are based; however, Summit had to finalize contract negotiations with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and the rest of the cast before the decision could be made public.

It is no secret to fans of the Twilight series that Breaking Dawn follows Edward and Bella down the wedding aisle as they continue to struggle with their vampire-human differences.

Hmmm… one can’t help but wonder if life will imitate art… eh RPatz?

You would think Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart could kiss each other with ease by now, but sadly that is not the case.

After publicly denying and dodging questions about their relationship for months, the two actors finally could not avoid publicly displaying their affection at the recent MTV Movie Awards in LA.

When the young Twilight couple appeared on stage together to accept the Best Kiss award they were compelled to reenact their award-winning smooch for all to see. The only trouble was that their live kiss was far from a “Best Kiss” (awkward!) under any circumstances and especially not on that night as it was upstaged by Sandra Bullock and Scarlett Johansson’s girl-on-girl lip-lock.

It appears, even for the extremely famous, kissing on command in front of millions of people can be an uncomfortable experience… or RPatz and KStew are just seriously lacking in the sexual chemistry department if two straight girls can snog each other more passionately than the Twilight stars.

Robert Pattinson is looking hot! Having a new hair-do really does make a difference…

Patz was spotted on the set of his new movie Water For Elephants in Ventura County, California yesterday, in which he plays a veterinary student who joins the circus after his parents are killed.

The rising star clearly has his feet firmly on the ground too, if his recent interview with Seventeen, Argentina, is anything to go by…

In it, RPatz opens his heart on what he loves about being famous, the heartthrob actor said: “When you become famous, you spend a lot of time thinking what that’s all about, or what to do with all that attention on you.”

He added: “When you discover that you can use fame to do good things, it’s amazing.”

Yes Rob, to do good things, like having drunken nights out, just like you had in London back in March… I’d have to say it certainly looked as if you were enjoying what fame had to offer, um on that particular occasion at least!

No – Twihards – don’t look! Robert Pattinson has committed the ultimate sin and cropped his floppy Edward Cullen locks!

Although actually….it looks pretty good. OK, uncover your eyes. RPatz premiered his new ‘do on The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday and said he hadn’t got used to it yet.

He then joked that the reason he’d had it cut was due to ‘a terrible infestation of nits’ (ew) before revealing it was actually for a movie role. He’s currently filming Water for Elephants, which is based on a beautiful book by Sara Gruen, with Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz.

I think Rob’s new coiff makes him look more handsome and actually makes him look like a movie star (which he is obv). Floppy hair is SO tween – after all, no leading man wants to be mistaken for Justin Bieber!

The publicity push for Twilight: Eclipse has started and now even Oprah’s dying to know whether Robert Pattinson and Kristin Stewart are an item. The status of the two stars’ relationship is usually off-limits to journalists but Oprah’s, well, Oprah and so can ask what ever she wants!

The Big O asked the question on her show yesterday, and the pair tried to deflect the question.

Kristin looked uncomfortable but Robert took it all in his stride and joked with the chat show queen: “Kristen’s pregnant.”

The 20-year-old actress looked awkward and tried to get in on the joke, saying, “He really likes to shock people because he thinks it’s funny.”

She continued: “We’ve actually had this conversation…” before realising her mistake and adding: “He’s having the baby because I can’t. Imagine a baby coming out of this thing. That’s just not going to happen.” Errrr….did she just make a reference to her, ahem, bits?

Kristin seems pretty ill at ease in interview situations at the best of times but you’d have thought she’d be used to the Twilight circus by now. I’m guessing her ‘people’ have told her to keep birth references to a minimum from now on!

Director Bill Condon will direct RPatz, KStew, and the gang in the fourth installment of the wildly popular vampire film series, Breaking Dawn. The news comes despite Summit Entertainment producer Wyck Godfrey stating he wanted New Moon director Chris Weitz to come back to the franchise. In addition to Dreamgirls, Condon directed the 2004 film Kinsey, starring Irish actor Liam Neeson. To date, each Twilight movie has been overseen by a different director.

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner are all expected to again personify Edward, Bella, and Jacob respectively for the film, though the actors are still in negotiations.

Breaking Dawn is likely to be the final Twilight film as it is based on the series, what isn’t clear is whether the film version of Breaking Dawn will be split into two separate films or not, due to the extensive length of the story.

A release date for Breaking Dawn is yet to be announced, but production is set to begin this year. Meanwhile, the third installment of the saga, Eclipse, will hit theaters this summer on June 30^th.

Let’s hope Condon can work his magic and make the best Twilight film of what most Twilight fans consider the worst Twilight book.

SMILE Kristen, you’re on the COVER!

Lordy, lordy, this girl’s got it all, hit movies, money, a hot-stud boyf’, multiple magazine covers and she can’t even squeeze out a smile for the camera.

RPatz’ bird, sullen faced Kristen Stewart aka KStew, graces the cover of April’s edition of Flaunt magazine, which features Kristen in a 14-page story, including an in-depth interview and 11 new, original photographs by top fashion photographer Yu Tsai.

However, the Twilight actress may have something to smile about this weekend should she decide to join the cool Coachella crowd, if what I’m hearing from my Palm Springs spies is true.

And of course we’ll be there keeping an eye out for her at all the shows!

Next stop for Kristen could be Vancouver according to E-online, where reshoots for Eclipse are scheduled in the coming weeks.

A rep for Summit Entertainment said, “They are not technically reshoots but rather ‘pickup shots.’ They have been planned for several movies and are normal in the filmmaking process.”
