Jack Osbourne’s Fiancée Lisa Stelly is Pregnant!

Posted on October 11th, 2011 at 10:10 pm by

Jack and Lisa1

He has only just announced his engagement, and now Jack Osbourne has revealed his fiancée Lisa Stelly is pregnant.

Breaking the news exclusively on the Piers Morgan Tonight show, the 25-year-old said: “My life is absolutely insane right now… I guess technically I do have something to tell you. I’m about to be a father”

Jack, who was joined by parents Sharon and Ozzy on the programme added: “I’m excited. I’m a little nervous.”

The couple, having only dated for four months, showed their joy by posting pictures of themselves on their Twitter pages and Lisa’s soon-to-be sister-in-law Kelly Osbourne added on her page shortly after: “@MrJackO well i guess you’re not my little brother anymore i’m so unbelievably proud of the man you have become! im so happy for you & lisa!”

Sharon also shared her excitement about becoming a grandmother. “I’m happy because it’s what Jack wants, so I’m happy,” she said. “And I’ve always wanted to be a grandma, so it couldn’t be better.”

Now that there’s a baby on the way for Osbourne and his bride-to-be, I reckon it’s the perfect opportunity for a new reality show, however, laughing Jack insisted: “I’m not going to do a reality show!”

Hmm, I bet they could be persuaded if the offer was right…

Congratulations to Jack and Lisa, we wish the happy coupled the very best!

X Factor’s Steve Jones Spotted with Ex-Glamour Model Keeley Hazell…

Posted on September 28th, 2011 at 1:36 pm by

Steve Jones

Now we all know U.S X Factor host, Steve Jones, has an eye for the ladies and it seems his Casanova ways have stuck once again… Oo-er!

Ex-Glamour Model Keeley Hazell is the latest to join the 34-year-old presenter’s ever-growing list of conquests, which includes such names as Pamela Anderson, Halle Berry and Hayden Panettiere (to list but a few)…Well Keeley, you’re certainly in good company there my girl!

The pair was seen checking into the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills last week. Now you might say to yourself this could have been nothing more than an innocent chat or drink, that is if it wasn’t for the fact that the welsh hunk was spotted buying a pack of contraceptives at a nearby garage just moments before picking young Keeley up… Nice to know that Stevie-boy plays it safe in the bedroom!

Jones’ love antics are no secret, in a recently interview with Piers Morgan, Steve jokingly stormed off after Piers questioned him about is colorful love life.

Piers then later joked on Twitter, saying he “Had him thrown off my set for lewd conduct”… Even though it was a joke, I wouldn’t put it past our Steve!

Simon Cowell Admits Cheryl Cole Was Not Fit for American TV!

Posted on September 21st, 2011 at 3:26 pm by

Simon_Cowell and Cheryl_Cole

Simon Cowell recently revealed to Piers Morgan that the primary reason Cheryl Cole was ejected as a judge of the American version of The X Factor was because she was not smoothly adapting to presenting on American television.

Regarding his decision to remove Cole as judge, Cowell stated: “You come to a country like America, it’s a big deal – it takes a while to adjust and I took the view along with a few other people that she would be more comfortable back in the UK.” Cowell added: “That’s what you have to do when you produce – you have to make decisions in the moment, and I take full responsibility for it.

Cowell also confirmed that Cole refused an offer to return to the British version of X Factor and that she also did not accept a job as judge of Britain’s Got Talent. Cowell’s revelations come after he has previously publicly apologized to Cole for her removal from the American singing competition program. Rumours have been floating around indicating Cole might become a judge on the upcoming UK edition of The Voice, but nothing has been set in stone.

If this rumour about Cole joining the UK version of The Voice is true, it would appear that she is still interested in being a singing judge, but not on a show associated with Cowell. Maybe Cheryl is concerned that any job offer she accepts from Simon will simply be terminated a few weeks later. It’s just business, eh Si?

Piers Morgan Keeps Up With The Kardashians!

Kim and Kourntney Kardashian

So, Piers Morgan Tonight has only been on our screens for just over a week and it seems he already missed on his biggest story yet…that Oprah Winfrey had a secret half-sister.

Understandably, chat show queen Oprah was keeping schtum while being interviewed by America’s new British chat show ‘king’, as just days later she revealed the news of her half-sister Patricia to the world.

Clearly her aim was to drum up a bit of publicity for her new television network Own that launched earlier this month, in my opinion.

But fear not Morgan fans, the CNN host wasn’t too down hearted about his failed discovery for long, and found comfort in the form on the Kardashian sisters, Kim and Kourntney…

Now I couldn’t think of a better way to forget my troubles than to these two gorgeous girls sat on my lap.

Piers has already expressed his disappointment through his Twitter page by saying, “Damn and Blast, you’re all absolutely right, I should have asked @Oprah: “Got any secret half-sisters called Pat we don’t know about?”

Well Piers, I don’t think you have anything to worry about with the Kardashian sisters hiding their personal lives from you, I mean, we pretty much know everything there is to know about those girls already!

Oprah Brings Out Piers Morgan’s Soft Side!

Piers Morgan and Oprah Winfrey

America caught its first glimpse of Piers Morgan as a serious journalist with the premiere of his new interview program Piers Morgan Tonight on CNN. Morgan has replaced the legendary Larry King, who hosted his flagship interview show Larry King Live for twenty-five years in what is now Morgan’s time slot.

American audiences mostly know the British personality from television competitions such as America’s Got Talent, on which Morgan is a talent judge, and Donald Trump’s The Celebrity Apprentice, which Morgan won in 2008. On the other side of the pond, however, Morgan is better known for his work in journalism after having worked his way up in the British press to host various news programs including his most recent television show Piers Morgan’s Life Stories on ITV.

It seems fitting that Morgan chose Oprah Winfrey to be his first interview guest to launch his new American show as Winfrey, probably the most famous interviewer in the world, ends her twenty-five year old sydicated talk show and launches her OWN cable television channel.  Winfrey has also proven herself to be a big ratings draw as is indicated by the high ratings of Morgan’s first CNN outing with the queen of talk by his side.

Before Piers Morgan Tonight premiered on CNN, Morgan promoted himself as a merciless interviewer who cuts straight to the truth of his subjects, referencing his ability to even make Simon Cowell cry during an interview. However, Morgan did not exactly live up to his self-proclaimed hard-hitting image during his interview with Winfrey. Instead, he exhibited more humility and graciousness during the interview than is prescribed by his reputation. Between the moments of curiosity, determination, and fluffy humor, Morgan appeared to be slightly nervous, insecure, and humbled by the event. Morgan’s apprehensively lighthearted demeanor would be expected from most people conducting such an interview; however, it was a little surprising coming from the snappy Brit who has interviewed hundreds of celebrities over the years.

To his credit, Morgan’s interview with the most successful talk show host in history was ultimately sufficiently insightful. He questioned her about the death of her baby when she was 14 that sparked her thoughts of teen-suicide, her refusal to marry her long-term partner Stedman Graham, and he even had the cheek to ask her how much money she is worth. And yes, he did eventually manage to get Winfrey to become a little teary-eyed during their discussion of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Winfrey’s efforts in making King’s dreams for America come true.

In the end, Morgan simultaneously revealed his respect for Winfrey and his uncertainty about his own interviewing skills with his final question, which was “How have I done?” Winfrey answered with the less than confidence-building response, “surprising.”

Morgan’s upcoming guests include infamous radio talk show host Howard Stern, former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, and controversial British comedian Ricky Gervais. Good luck Piers!

The Winners (and Losers) of the 2011 Golden Globe Awards!

Ricky Gervais

I thought the 2011 Golden Globes was a roaring success, hosted once again by Ricky Gervais, who kicked off the event with some great commentary on some of the more terrible nominees like The Tourist. However, this year the British funnyman barely managed to walk the fine line between some totally offensive jokes to laughworthy quips.

On top of that we were often left wondering why Gervais would inexplicably disappear for huge chunks of time, unlike in 2010 when his presence seemed to dominate the podium for most of the whole show.

Had Ricky seriously pi**ed somebody off this time around?! I think so…

Even my pal, CNN’s Piers Morgan tweeted curiously:“Gervais not seen for an hour now. #whatthehellhappened.” Followed up by: “Where is Ricky Gervais? Seriously.”

Perhaps it was this comment that might have him in hot water with some of Hollywood’s elite, when he said: Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor - two heterosexual actors pretending to be gay, so the complete opposite of some famous scientologists then,” Gervais said before adding, “My lawyers helped me with the wording of that joke. They’re not here.”

You could hear the shock reaction pouring from the audience as they gasped at his slanderous humor. Gervais is a very funny guy indeed, but attacking religion or sexuality should never be up for laughs, I personally feel he went a bit too far this time. I had visions of the comedian being reprimanded backstage for his unwarranted remarks, at least that would explain his disappearing act!

After Gervais finally returned to our screens appearing slightly ‘subdued’ Piers continued his tweeting with, “Re Ricky “MIA” Gervais – blimey, hope this isn’t what they do to all Brits on TV in America. #bitesnails.” Well, let’s certainly hope not, eh Piers!

The big winner of the night was The Social Network, picking up four awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Score.

Glee stole the show on the TV side, taking home Best Television Series – Comedy or Musical, while Jane Lynch and Chris Colfer received best supporting actress and actor wins.

Robert De Niro accepted the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement from Matt Damon for his performances in movies such as Taxi Driver, The Godfather, Part II and Goodfellas. The actor joked that his less noted films such as FrankensteinJacknife, and Little Fockers were missing from the presentation reel.

Michael Douglas looked well on the road to recovery and received a standing ovation as he took to the stage to present the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture – Drama.

Douglas, pictured (right) posing with his gorgeous wife Catherine Zeta Jones, and another happy couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, won huge laughs from the audience when he joked about his warm reception, he said: “There’s got to be an easier way to get a standing ovation.

Thank you all very much. I’m really very, very happy to be here tonight.”

Aww, and we were happy to see you there too Michael!

Piers Sneers at Madonna…

Posted on December 14th, 2010 at 12:50 pm by

Piers Morgan and Madonna

Oh dear… I do love Piers Morgan but sometimes his big head gets in the way just a bit…

During a recent interview with a British magazine Piers stated that he has no intention of EVER inviting Madonna on his new show for CNN, when it replaces Larry King Live early next year. In it Morgan declares the Queen of pop is too “boring” for TV. How contemptuous!

But Madge’s quick-witted team being the cool bunch they are fired back with a very sarcastic, “Madonna doesn’t know who Piers Morgan is but she’s a big fan of Lady Gaga.” Ouch, and well put!

I’m sure Piers’ show will be a major success in the US, but in my opinion he should wait till he has ratings winner on his hands before making such silly remarks so publicly… And as if Madonna needs to be on his show anyway!

Tone down that ego Mr. Morgan; your public won’t like it!

Kylie Speaks Out about Minogue-Osbourne Feud!

Posted on September 30th, 2010 at 1:54 pm by

The Minogue-Osbourne feud has truly turned into a family affair after Kylie Minogue has swooped in to protect her little sis’ Dannii.

The war between the two clans has also become very public after Sharon Osbourne talked about it on the TV show Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, Dannii referenced it in her new book My Story, Kelly Osbourne tweeted about it on Twitter, and now Kylie has spoken to the press regarding the dispute.

Expressing her feelings about the clash of the famous families to the The Sun, Kylie revealed: “I feel protective. Dannii is my little sister and I always feel the urge to get involved. But I’m reluctant to get dragged into this fresh hoo-ha.”

The Australian pop star added: “It’s such a small part of our lives now. I think it’s basically become a pantomime. But it was very real at the time Sharon and Dannii were both on [The X Factor].

We had the Osbournes and the Minogues kicking off. But I know Dannii wishes it would go away. Can we just get past this now? Come on! It’s a bit old and boring.”

I reckon Kylie’s goal of getting past the feud is a good one, but if Dannii truly wishes it would go away, then she shouldn’t have written about it in her ‘tell all’ book.

Still, I do hope the Minogues and the Osbournes work out their differences as both sides have their points. Good on Kylie for sticking up for her little sis’, there nothing like a bit of family support… Touché!
