Mia Farrow testified in the war crimes trial against Charles Taylor in The Hague this week and the actress’s account of the night Naomi Campbell allegedly received blood diamonds makes the former super-model look like… well, a super-liar.

Last week, Campbell testified that “dirty-looking stones” were delivered to her after a dinner party in South Africa in 1997 and that she did not know who sent them. The British diva also claimed that the morning after she received the rough diamonds, she discussed the gift with Farrow and Carole White, Campbell’s agent at the time, and that it was one of these women who suggested that the diamonds came from Taylor.

On the stand, Farrow told a different story when she said: “[The next morning] I remember that the children and I were having breakfast and it was at a long table and I was at the table, I think with Quincy Jones, and what I remember is Naomi Campbell joined us at the table but before she even sat down she recounted an event of that evening and she said that in the night she had been awakened, some men had knocked at the door and they had been sent by Charles Taylor and they had given her a huge diamond and she intended to give the diamond to Nelson Mandela’s children’s charities.”

While Campbell denied she knew the diamonds were sent by Taylor, Farrow and White both say the opposite is true and that Campbell was even boastful about Taylor’s expensive gift. Furthermore, Farrow also maintains that Campbell, at the time, was reportedly given one “huge diamond” instead of multiple small stones.

So it is Mia against Naomi in a case of she said, she said. I must admit it is difficult to believe that a former fashion icon could receive one or more diamonds and not have a clue as to where they came from. Is it just me or does something (or someone whose name sounds like “Fake-omi”) seem bloody deceiving?

Former super-model Naomi Campbell is expected to testify this week at a hearing being held in The Hague as part of a case against Liberian dictator Charles Taylor; however, we will not be seeing shots of the photogenic diva entering or exiting the courthouse. Judges at the international court have banned photographers from snapping photos of Campbell’s arrivals and departures, as requested by her lawyers based on the grounds that her security could be compromised.

At trial, Campbell is expected to provide testimony potentially indicating Taylor’s possession of ‘blood diamonds’ in 1997, when Taylor allegedly endowed her with an illicit gem at a dinner party hosted by Nelson Mandella in South Africa. Up until now, the former top model has not publicly revealed her knowledge of the incident and has evaded being questioned about the suspicious events.

Campbell’s concerns for her safety and privacy have been ruled as legitimate by the U.N. court, which has issued orders stipulating that the British celebrity is not to be photographed entering or leaving the court building.

However, Campbell will still be recorded by courtroom cameras while she is actually testifying in court. Furthermore, the catwalk star has been granted permission to have her own lawyer on hand to prevent her from incriminating herself.

Since when do former super-models shy away from the cameras? Maybe that’s what they do when they have something to hide… eh Naomi?

This time passers by were not stopping to catch a glimpse of the supermodel at work, but to gawk at her vanishing hairline!

Apparently, the cause of the severe damage to Naomi’s hair is known as ‘traction alopecia’ and is due to years of wearing tight hair extensions … Basically the hair eventually snaps off and falls out. Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Victoria Beckham have all suffered from this in past too … Oo-er!

Well, I for one am not a big fan of Campbell, so I can only hope she disappears just like her locks, in a ‘hair today gone tomorrow’ kind of way. Wishful thinking, I know…

Everybody, duck! Naomi Campbell has a habit of throwing things at people… Allegedly… So, why the hell entrust her handling the world cup trophy!?!?

In Paris earlier today, Campbell and French fashion house Louis Vuitton unveiled an elegant leather-bound travel case produced to carry the trophy in style to South Africa on Tuesday.

But if you ask me, the event organizers were taking a big risk in allowing the former supermodel to lay her grubby mitts on the heavy gold object…

However, Louis Vuitton spokesman Antoine Arnault didn’t seem worried in the slightest, he said: “There was no reason why security couldn’t be synonymous with elegance.”

Er, sure Antoine… but imagine what could have occurred if you’d have p**sed Naomi off while she was holding up the cup… You would have most definitely needed extra security defending yourself against her elegant temper, given Campbell’s track record with cellphones… D’ya get it?

The former British super-model is likely to be subpoenaed by prosecutors representing the UN Special Court for Sierra Leone to testify at a war crimes trial being held in The Hague against Liberian ex-president Charles Taylor.

A motion filed with the special court said: “Ms Campbell’s testimony is necessary as there is evidence that Ms Campbell was given rough diamonds by the accused (Mr Taylor) in September of 1997.”

Campbell’s involvement stems from a “huge diamond” she was allegedly given by representatives of Taylor at a 1997 dinner party in South Africa at Nelson Mandela’s house. Prosecutors hope Campbell’s testimony will provide evidence proving Taylor used so-called blood diamonds to fund his illegal and brutal war fought in Sierra Leone in the 1990s. Taylor faces eleven counts of war crimes and crimes against humanity including, terrorism, murder, rape, sexual slavery, and use of child soldiers.

Campbell reportedly refused prosecutors’ interview requests, declined to testify in the trial, and even the hot-head’s representatives will not comment on the situation. If forced to testify, I’m guessing she won’t be too happy… and we all know you don’t want to make Naomi unhappy… It doesn’t bare thinking about!

The former supermodel, photographed while holidaying in Miami yesterday turns 40 later this month, and if you ask me, she’s starting to look it too.

OK, so the body looks great, but what’s with that wincing face! Maybe she just caught sight of herself in the mirror, or perhaps she is simply P*SSED OFF… Again!

For the most part, Campbell appeared calm and relaxed, something the model doesn’t often seem good at, but lazing around onboard luxury yachts is clearly something she does do VERY well!

However, this particular yacht belongs to her boyfriend, Russian multi-millionaire Vladislav Doronin, so she can be forgiven for enjoying the good life this time around.

Only a week ago, the diva appeared on Oprah in a bid to win the public sympathy vote, giving us a sob story as she tearfully admitted to having a super-temper, telling the audience how she felt remorseful and ashamed at her angry outbursts. But to most (including me) the ‘act’ wasn’t a convincing one.

Naomi, I know you’re on holiday love, but put some slap on ya face in future, being spotted without your make-up is just as offensive as watching Kerry Katona’s gurning!

Well, forgiven or not, the former supermodel HAS finally admitted to having a super-temper on The Oprah Winfrey Show, set to air later today in the US. Horrah bitches!

On the show, a solemn faced Campbell said: “It comes from a deeper place, from another type of emotional disorder.”

She also revealed the intense guilt she experiences as a result of her violent outbursts when she said: “I feel remorseful, ashamed.”

As tears ran down her cheeks, Campbell added: “I’m striving to be a better person.” Aww, our hearts bleed for you…

The phone-bashing diva’s mother and Russian mogul boyfriend, Vladimir Doronin, were in the audience during the show.

While it’s not exactly shocking to hear Naomi has an “emotional disorder,” at least she admitted it.

In light of the fact that the girl has pleaded guilty to multiple charges of assault and violence and that she’s been banned from British Airways, I guess she couldn’t get away with denial at this point.

I’m all for giving someone a second chance, but Naomi, didn’t you get the memo sweetie? We’re not buying into those tears, uh, uh, not this time… Not ever!

When probed over allegations that deposed African despot Charles Taylor gave her a “blood diamond,” the Supermodel’s lips were sealed as she aggressively snapped: “I didn’t receive a diamond and I’m not going to speak about that.”

Its alleged that Campbell received the diamond when she was a guest of Nelson Mandela’s in South Africa in 1997.

Prosecutors in a special UN -backed court believe Campbell could have information that might prove Taylor used “blood diamonds” to fuel his reign of terror in Sierra Leone between 1997 and 2001.

Actress Mia Farrow stated: “Naomi Campbell came down…she said during the night some men had knocked on her door and she, half-asleep, had opened the door and it was representatives of President Charles Taylor and that they had given her a huge diamond. And we were like, ‘Oh, my gosh.’”

Behaving like a first-class prima donna, Campbell then got up out of chair, terminating the interview. But she couldn’t resist finishing off her rant with a quick bitch-slapping of the camera before flouncing off in a huff.

Oh lordy, lordy… Drama seems to follow that girl around everywhere!
