Girls Aloud Star Nicola Roberts’ Upstaged by Her ‘Bingo-Style’ Veneers!

I giggled at the amount of emails and tweets I received from angry Nadine Coyle fans pissed at me for trashing the singer’s show at Splash in New York last weekend… My response? If you love her that much then buy her single, perhaps then she wouldn’t have to perform her comeback on a stage the size of a shoebox… Get it? Case dismissed!
Now it’s former Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts‘ turn…
I was looking at pictures of Nicola recently and wondered why close friends and dentists haven’t yet informed her those new veneers are far too big for her mouth!
Poor thing, I also watched Nicola perform her debut single Beat My Drum on Paul O’Grady Live the other day and thought she did a really good job. Her dance moves were a little stiff, but far better than Cheryl and Nadine’s efforts, I’m being quite serious too. I mean, Gwen Stefani she isn’t (though she tried), but those teeth upstaged her performance…her mouth currently resembles the character ‘Bingo’ from the 70′s TV show The Banana Splits.
According to a report in NOW magazine a few months back, Nicola, who successfully launched her own cosmetics line underwent a dramatic £100,000 makeover after Girls Aloud started raking in the dough, and for a while the redhead scouser was looking somewhat sexy.
But maybe she went a little too far with that [reported] £13,000 grand smile!
Will somebody please tell Miss Roberts those big teeth have to go!
Something Kinda Ewww! Nadine Coyle Makes Another Desperate Comeback…

When it was reported last year that ex-Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle had only sold 117 copies of her much-hyped debut solo single, I have to say I was pretty gobsmacked.
It makes it all too clear just how fickle the pop industry really is… I often wonder if Cheryl Cole hadn’t had music mogul Simon Cowell backing her would she have faired so well with her mediocre efforts and lacklustre stage performances.
Not one to be discouraged, Belfast-born beauty Coyle is back… er, with a new image and a live show performed in what can only be described as ‘cramped surroundings’ according to my spies in the audience.
That was the scene at New York’s Splash Club where the singer gave onlookers a ‘thigh-full’, dressed in a pair of black patent leather boots, a pair of knickers, a purple corset and a tiara, with a face ‘caked’ in make-up to promote her debut solo album Insatiable and latest single Sweetest High.
Except (I’m told) her show gave anything but the sweetest high…
There’s no doubt that Miss Coyle can still belt out a tune, she has a great voice, but that teased afro-hair has to go!
What on earth was she thinking… Let’s play popstar dress-up?
The singer told press at the club: “It’s a challenge! You’ve got to come, you’ve got to work hard. I remember the days beginning at 16, 17 years old in Girls Aloud. Nobody knew us, nobody cared. We’d do university shows and people threw beers cans at us. All sorts of crazy things! We had to work really hard to get where we did”
With regards to her plans to make it big in America, she continues, “that’s where I’m at now. That grind. That mentality of, ‘Yeah, let’s do it. Let’s work hard. What can we do? What can we achieve?’ I love that part of it.”
I do love her spirit!
Don’t worry Nadine, on a brighter note; I’m sure Cheryl will equally come under fire when she launches her album in the U.S later this year… Long gone are the sold-out stadiums of the glorious Girls Aloud days… Pop certainly isn’t what it used to be!
Referring to the years she has been performing professionally, Coyle finished by saying that “ten years of all that stuff, it would be a shame to let it pass!” That much I agree with Nadine, I guess you’ve got to give it a go…
My Verdict: Get back together girls, there’s strength in numbers!

Former Girls Aloud Singer Nadine is Engaged!

Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle might become Nadine Bell if all goes well with her partner of two years, American football star Jason Bell.
While speaking with Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills on his show, the Irish pop star responded to questions about her sparkly ring by revealing that she is in fact engaged to Bell. She said they became engaged last week when they were in Los Angeles.
“It was really, really nice,” Coyle said.
She went on to explain: “I had just got back from London, and he was in New York and then he surprised me with a ring and stuff, while I was in my pajamas. If I’d have known I would have got a blow dry, or at least got a manicure or something – but no.”
The singer also said that Bell had to kneel down on two knees instead of one in order to pop the question due to a sports injury. She noted: “It was different.”
I wonder if Nadine’s fellow Girls Aloud members have heard about the engagement yet. Considering Nadine isn’t speaking to them at the moment, the only way they will probably be able to find out about the news is from the press.
Of course we congratulate Nadine on getting engaged and wish nothing but the best for the happy couple, but it might be nice if the little madam engaged with Cheryl, Kimberly, Nicola, and Sarah a little more often.
CZJ Joins the Skinny Leg Club!

After Nadine Coyle shocked fans with her scrawny pins, Catherine Zeta Jones is the latest celeb to join the skinny leg club.
Arriving at New York theatre last week she flashed her shrinking flesh in a black miniskirt.
Welsh-born Cat, 40, has always insisted she eats healthy so maybe her new slender frame is down to doing eight performances a week of the Broadway musical she’s currently starring in, A Little Night Music.
Plus, the stress of Michael’s son Cameron being jailed for five years this week must have taken its toll.
You still love fab Cat but a little more flesh on those bones wouldn’t hurt.
Let’s have a couple of weeks of Catherine Eater Jones!

What’s with the skinny ladies? You’re all getting worryingly skeleton-esque!
First Vic-bore-ria [Victoria] Beckham had us all fretting over her painfully thin frame, then just weeks ago Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle scared the vast majority of the British population by resembling a bag of bones, and now it seems Catherine Zeta Jones – dubbed ‘bones’ from now on is jumping on the skinny scooter and hitching a ride to, er… Skinny-ville!
It’s quite surprising considering she once hit out at media’s obsession with super-skinny women. Now she’s turned into one of them!
I reckon CZJ looks HOT, but reports have suggested she’s battled to control her weight for years; it can’t be healthy for a woman in her age bracket to constantly undergo such dramatic weight loss.
Stress related perhaps? Or just another celebrity following some silly trend…
The mother-of-two has had a lot on her plate of late. Her stepson Cameron Douglas is sentenced this week, which can’t be helping with her stress levels. She even wrote a letter to Manhattan’s Federal Court asking it to go easy on Cameron when the hammer falls.
Whatever the reason is, it hasn’t stopped the Welsh born beauty from winning over the critics in her Broadway debut. CZJ’s performance playing as Desiree in A Little Night Music has won rave reviews, with her performance being described as ‘luminous’ and ‘mesmerizing’.
That’s what we like to hear Catherine, but honestly, it wouldn’t be a bad idea between shows to nip over to Time Square and grab a burger every now and then. You could do with the extra calories love, trust me!
Not So Loud… Nadine’s a Girl Gone Silent!

According to Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts, the band haven’t heard a peep from LA-based Nadine Coyle since September last year.
However, Nicola is quick to make clear that as far as she’s concerned, ‘there’s no feud.’ Baffling, to say the least, eh girls?
Talking to Hello Magazine Nicola said: ‘If I’m really honest, we haven’t spoken to Nadine since we did the Coldplay gig at Wembley in September. I talked to the other girls about it on Monday, none of us have heard from her [Nadine].’
Over the past year the chart-topping girl band have worked on various solo projects during their well earned break, which has seen Cheryl Cole sore to the dizzy heights of pop superstardom, Sarah Harding in pursuit of an acting career and Nicola has created the Dainty Doll make-up range for the pale skinned.
As for Nadine, apparently she’s been working on her solo album, and I’ve often seen her hanging out with Lady Victoria Hervey on LA’s notorious party scene.
Hopefully, she isn’t turning in to a snob… Geri Halliwell made the same mistake with the Spice Girls and came running back with her tail between her legs!
If so, shame on you Nadine, don’t forget who your real friends are… Now pick up the phone and call the girls immediately, it’s your duty to do so dear…
Chezza Cole’s Cheshire Cat Grin is Back!

Cheryl Cole was all smiles yesterday as she left a recording studio in Los Angeles (told you she was here!)
I’ve got to say it’s fab to see her grinning again after a difficult few weeks. The gorgeous girl is in town working on solo material after recovering from a bout of bronchitis. If only it was as easy to shake off cheating hubbies eh?
Meanwhile, on the other side of town bandmate Nadine Coyle stepped out with her hunky boyf Jason Bell as they attended music producer Toby Gad’s birthday party. Nadine looked super-glam in a one-shoulder Grecian style frock and black booties.
Just one question ladies…are you planning on meeting up with each other seeing as you’re both in town, or is more a case of Girls Alone than Girls Aloud?
Coyle ‘n’ Cole: The Skinny Minnies!

Is Cheryl Cole competing with her former band-mate Nadine Coyle on who can become the skinniest? Or maybe she’s considering Nadine’s offer to duet and doesn’t want to be outdone… Er, I hope not!
One thing’s for sure however, Cole is certainly keeping schtum about the goings on behind the scenes in her marriage. As Cole left a well-known hotel in Paris wedding ring-less yesterday, onlookers couldn’t help but notice her pale and frail looking body, as she stepped out to do an interview with TV channel Canal Plus+, one of her first public appearances since her split from Ashley.
And according to sources, from what I’m being told there’s a lot more going on under that dignified silence, that seemingly ‘fake’ smile and painfully thin frame.
