Scary Spice, Mel B has never been once to mince words, which is why she’s one of the funnest people to interview, and last night she did it again on the George Lopez Show.

Lopez was interested in how Mel maintains her frankly, fierce body and asked if (as rumoured) it’s down to five-times-a-day sex seshes with her husband.

Most celebs would back off from such a personal question but our Mel happily replied that it had only been three times that day because she’s been a bit busy before bursting into that trademark cackle.

She then went on to say “Me and my husband, we’re the same age, he is my best friend, and I guess we’re both just perverts with each other.”

Maybe a case of TMI Mel, but in a world of tightly PR-ed celebs who are afraid to say anything in case they cause a scandal, we wouldn’t have you any other way!

Brit reality show fever strikes again!

Mel B (aka Scary Spice) will be the focus of what is being described as a “docu-comedy” reality series developed for the US cable channel Style Network. The skein will follow the so-called “hilarious” lives of Mel, hubby Stephen Belafonte (a movie producer), and her two daughters as the family co-exists in Los Angeles.

The show is scheduled to be shown in the US this September and across the pond at a later date. President of the Style Network Salaam Coleman Smith said: “Mel B is confident, hilarious, and outrageously entertaining.”

She added: “We love that Mel has evolved her image and sought new challenges throughout her career while also taking on the ups, downs that come with motherhood and marriage.”

Mel recently attended the premiere of Shrek Forever After with former partner and baby-daddy Eddie Murphy, after their very messy split in 2007. Footage of that premiere is expected to feature in an episode of the as of yet untitled show.

Uhmmm… does Mel’s new affiliation with the Style Network mean that someone thinks she has style? (Rude!) At least no one can deny the girl is entertaining, but I wonder if she has what it takes to carry an entire reality show…

Well, given the stiff competition from other upcoming reality shows like fellow Brit – former wild-child Emma Ridley’s (pictured) outrageous new show Spoiled Rotten, the former Spice Girl will have to prove she’s something worth watching on the telly…

Mel B and Eddie Murphy haven’t exactly stayed on friendly terms since they split up in 2006. In fact, they were well known for slagging each other off in the press – especially when Eddie disputed the paternity of Mel’s youngest daughter, Angel, and Mel had to prove it with a paternity test. It was like something from the Maury show!

But it looks like things are less frosty between the pair these days, and they even turned up to the Shrek premiere in LA yesterday – although they weren’t photographed together.

Mel attended with husband Stephen Belafonte, her daughters Phoenix Chi, 11, and Angel, 3, and Stephen’s daughter Giselle, 6, while Eddie arrived with seven of his children from previous relationships.

And apparently Eddie’s ex-wife Nicole Mitchell, who has five children with the comedian, is behind the reconciliation. She wanted her kids to get to know Angel so befriended Mel and encouraged them to be friendly. Good for her!

A source told the New York Daily News that Eddie has been making an effort recently to see his youngest daughter.

‘While promoting Shrek Forever After, Eddie talked a lot about his kids. Ever since, he’s been making efforts with Mel to get to know their daughter.”

The source added: “Eddie’s ex-wife Nicole helped them reconcile their issues, too. Angel is Eddie’s youngest child, and Nicole wanted her children to know her. That helped Eddie to come around and get past all the animosity he had toward Mel.’

I hope the pair can keep their differences resolved for the sake of the kids and stop trash-talking about each other in the papers. Maybe Eddie ‘n’ Mel should tweet Demi, Ashton and Bruce for some advice – they’ve got the happiest divorce in Hollywood so must have a few pointers on keeping things civil!

The Union Jack flew proud over Hollywood on Tuesday night, where some of the UK’s biggest names as part of Brit Week 2010 gathered to celebrate.

Three generations of well-known Brit celebrities and socialites (um, me being one of them) attended the invitation-only – champagne launch party at the British Consul General’s Official Residence in Los Angeles.

Guests included, telly host Cat Deeley, Singer – Mel B, Kelly Osbourne and her model fiancé Luke Worrall and veteran actress Helen Mirren, who lauded the British for being “cool and hip” at the event, and complained that her nationality are often cast as the baddies in films.

Mirren said: “I think it’s rather unfortunate that the villain in every movie is always British, we’re such an easy target that they can comfortably make the Brits the villains,”

The event is an annual celebration of British people and business’ contribution to the Californian economy. Despite being called BritWeek, the event lasts for three weeks.

Other stars on the VIP list was Jacqueline Bisset, Dancing with the Stars judge Bruno Tonioli and Lady Victoria Hervey, who, I should say looked remarkably well put together considering her appearance earlier that day when I saw her on the road back to LA, after a weekend of hard partying at Coachella…

Well-done Vicky my dear, it’s amazing what a bit of make-up can do!

Former Spice Girl Mel B lived up to her Scary reputation when she launched full throttle at hubby Stephen Belefonte in the May Fair Hotel bar last night.

The loved-up couple were snogging non-stop as they enjoyed a few drinks (or perhaps even more than a few eh, Mel!).

Stephen even went in for the bum-cupping move at one point and Mel er, ‘seductively’ devoured a strawberry. Get a room guys!

Ah well, at least the old married couple are still hot ‘n’ steamy for each other. Judging by the state of some Hollywood marriages at the moment that can only be a good thing!

Ex-pat Mel B showed up to the event in Vegas last night hand-in-hand with her new bff, X Factor winner, Leona Lewis. And while Mel looked stunning in a curve-hugging electric blue dress, her new hair do was more of a hair don’t!

Looking more like singer Annabella Lwin (pictured below: right) from eighties band Bow Wow Wow, the former Spice Girl had shaved one half of her hair off completely to give her an undercut that left even bosom bud Leona looking quite bemused.

Rihanna rocked a similar look a little while back, but somehow got away with it, maybe because her whole image is slightly more edgy and a little bit punk.

Sorry Mel, I think you need to step away from issues of Dazed and Confused and get a new do, dear!

Matt Goss kicked off his new show at Caesars Palace on Friday night with support from his A-List VIP friends, Leona Lewis, Natasha Bedingfield & former Spice Girls singer Mel B, who were flown in especially from L.A to join Goss at his debut.

The show is produced by Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin and Matt has been rehearsing with his nine-piece band, including a new trumpet player, at Cleopatra’s Barge; he also has his sexy Dirty Virgin dancers and two backup singers.

I was quite surprised to see Matt’s chiseled face staring out at me on Vegas billboards, does this mean he might just make it America?

Crowds turned up hours before to watch the wannabe crooner prepare for his opening night, even some of his die-hard fans from back in the eighties couldn’t resist catching up with the former boyband star. Some had flown in from as far as England and Germany.

Matt said: “I think vocally I can hold my own pretty much. I’m just going to be myself and hopefully connect with the American public organically rather than being too contrived.”

I’m told the locals are hailing Goss the ‘new Sinatra’ (er, steady on people), but Matt did manage to woo the audience proving that the ex-Bros singer still hasn’t lost his touch.

One couldn’t help tapping ones toes to the tunes being belted out. However, I was rather hoping Gossy would burst into song with ‘When Will I Be Famous’, um… Again!

How quickly Oscars came around this year. It seemed I’d only just taken off my tuxedo in 2009, then BAM! It was back on again in 2010 for the best party in town – Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Party held at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.

This year the event raised a staggering $3.9 Million for the fight against HIV and AIDS.

Presented by Chopard, Jo and Raffy Manoukian and Neuro Drinks, the EJAF Viewing Party continues to be the leading fundraiser on Oscar night in Hollywood. The couple’s bash has become a staple for all those without an invite to the ceremony itself and this year’s guest list read like a ‘who’s who’ to the entertainment world’s biggest names, and one of the best parties thrown by the EJAF so far (still no goodie bag however, but you can’t have everything I suppose, eh David!)

I arrived with my trademark date, the stunning diamond beauty, Zeta Graff, and the evening began with a cocktail reception, dinner and viewing of the 82nd Annual Academy Awards, followed by a very exciting live auction and a high voltage performance by the iconic Grace Jones.

“I’m so blown away this year, it’s fantastic,” Elton said. “It’s our stable fundraiser for the whole year, this is by far the most important, it gets us the most publicity and it raises the most money.

“It’s hard work because you have to walk around shaking hands with everyone but when we go home and it’s all finished we’ve met people and we’ve seen great entertainment close up.”

Drawing out quite a few of our favorite celebrities, Victoria Beckham and Heidi Klum were spotted looking as elegant as ever – even Victoria (who I often label Vic-bore-ria) was far from boring when she grabbed me and gave a big hug as she exited the ladies loos, “Sean!” she yelled… “How are you? I’m a bit drunk so no photos!” OK, so Posh is back in my good books!

Not far behind the beautiful models were “Glee” co-stars Lea Michele and Cory Monteith, followed by a brunette Hayden Panettiere.

Representing the Brits this year were the likes of recently engaged Simon Cowell who was glued to his foxy fiancé Mezhgan Hussainy all night, Mel B, fashion designer Julia Clancey, Amanda Holden, Michelle Collins, Katie Price, and Sharon and Kelly Osbourne who stopped to have her picture taken with me. Kelly was one of my favorites of the evening to be honest, beaming from cheek to cheek. She told me that she was feeling on top of the world, and who could blame her, you only have to look at the transformation she has undergone – quite unbelievable.

Nicole Richie made her way into the swanky party along with Kimora Lee, Christina Hendricks, Michelle Rodriguez and the very lovely Jennifer Hudson who also stopped to chat to me, Jennifer told me she happy when she heard Simon [Cowell] was engaged: “I am so happy he is finally settling down,” she told me.

Miley Cyrus also hit the party with Liam Hemsworth. Cyrus finally confirmed what we already knew, that Liam was her official boyfriend, and Miley told the press at the event, “I think we’re both deeper than normal people—what they think and how they feel. He’s very grateful for what he has, but he doesn’t let it go to his head. I’m like that too.” How sweet!

It was a long day! Fabulous food, lots of chocolates and wall-to-wall celebs… I could have stayed all night and kipped (slang word for slept) in the corner till morning, but thankfully sometime just after midnight I was rescued by dear friends, British actor Craig Young and Michael Di Girolamo who dragged me into their chauffeured limo!

What fun was had, my gorgeous ‘Graff’ date, my photo with Elton, Kelly Osborne’s super-slim waist, Posh and Price all smiles, Godiva chocolates, and nearly $4 mil’ raised for charity… Ah, now I can rest my weary head, it was a night well worth it, roll-on next year!
