Osbourne’s Back… Minogue: “Sharon’s Not Welcome in My Dressing Room!”

As Dannii Minogue returns to The X Factor (UK) this Saturday after being away on maternity leave, she must once again come face to face with Sharon Osbourne, who is back as a guest for the judges’ houses stage of the talent competition.
Not an easy thing to have to deal with, especially after being publicly ridiculed by Sharon’s daughter Kelly on Twitter just over a week ago. Regarding Osbourne’s upcoming appearance, Kylie’s little sis’ stated: “It’s not awkward, it’s separate things and we have no contact. It’ll be interesting to see how the fans react to [Sharon.]”
But Minogue declared: “She’s welcome any time (to the show). Just not in my dressing room.”
When Minogue was recently asked by X Magazine about her reaction to being called “the devil” by Kelly O, the Australian said: “I just put what happened in the book. I don’t want to get into the back and forth of this. [I’m] not really angry. I laughed. I know what’s true.”
In her new book, My Story, Minogue revealed that Sharon verbally attacked her in her X Factor dressing room, causing Minogue to breakdown in tears.
Speaking about Kelly’s allegations that the dressing room incident is a lie, the new mum added: “They’re strong accusations. I’m not a liar – if she’s calling me a liar, she’s calling everyone who was there a liar. The producers and everyone. There were a lot of witnesses.”
It was reported that fellow judge Louis Walsh had to check with X Factor boss Simon Cowell to make sure that Osbourne could return.
A source said: “Louis had to clear her return with Simon Cowell who is pleased because he knows she will be good for ratings.”
I reckon it will be more interesting to see how Dannii and Sharon react to each other than anything else. If I were Sharon, I would stay as far away from Dannii’s dressing room as possible. And if I was Cheryl Tweedy, I would wear a bullet proof vest and take cover…
Hopefully, no blood will be drawn!
Say Hello to Dannii Minogue’s Newborn Boy Ethan!

The X Factor’s Dannii Minogue has introduced her newborn son Ethan to the world… via micro-blogging website Twitter. The first public photo of baby Ethan (pictured) along with new parents, Dannii and British boyfriend Kris Smith, was posted on Twitter by the Australian singer herself. Minogue gave birth earlier this week in Melbourne’s Royal Women’s Hospital, where the photo was taken. Along with the photo, Dannii posted: “Hey everyone thanks for all your wishes, we are loving baby Ethan and Kris is the best dad in the world. X” Dannii’s sister Kylie is expected to take a trip down under to see her newborn nephew later this month.
An Aussie and a Brit having a baby boy together… how very pro-Commonwealth of them! I wonder if the baby will be raised in England or Australia.
Earlier this week The X Factor judge also tweeted: “Looking forward to catching up on X Factor auditions. Can’t wait to see Simon, Cheryl and Louis again soon – miss them very much. Dx”
I say Dannii should wait and take as much maternity leave as she can to cherish this very special time for bonding with baby Ethan – and I hope Si shares my sentiments.

Cheryl Cole Hospitalised for Malaria!

X Factor’s Cherly Cole has been hospitalised with malaria, her spokesman confirmed. This past weekend, the singer allegedly fainted during a photoshoot for her upcoming second solo album and was diagnosed with exhaustion. On the advice of doctors, she cancelled all of her work commitments for the week.
Later, it was determined that Cole was initially misdiagnosed and that she in fact has malaria. The pop singer was likely infected during a recent sabatical in Tanzania, on the east coast of Africa, with “friend” and Dancing with the Stars dancer Derek Hough. According to Cole’s spokesman, she was taking anti-malaria tablets while on Holiday.
If Cole had not contracted the disease, she would be judging X Factor auditions with Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh this week. However, Cowell told the singer: “Don’t rush back. Health is a priority and get some rest to recover properly.” Still, the show must and will go on without Cole. Regular panel members, Cowell and Walsh, will be joined at the judges’ table by Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger, who is filling in for a very-pregnant Dannii Minogue.
Hopefully, Cheryl will take Si’s advice and return fully recovered from the “M Factor.”

Katy Perry: “Simon Has the X Factor!”

I wonder what Russell Brand will make of all this? His fiancé, Katy Perry has revealed she has a major crush on Simon Cowell.
Perry joined the X Factor earlier this week as a guest judge stepping in for Dannii Minogue. The Hot N Cold singer told Capital FM she had a spot soft for the telly mogul, saying: “I love sitting next to Simon. He is a big flirt and also a very smart man.” Oo-er, Katy …
After meeting fellow panel judge Cheryl Cole, Katy wrote on her Twitter page: “I wish Cheryl Cole tweeted. She was a sweetie pateetie (girl crush alert).” Good heavens, vying for a few brownie points honey?
Clearly Katy’s good at saying all the right things, according sources behind the scenes, show bosses were thrilled with her, even Louis Walsh thought Katy did an “amazing job”, telling one newspaper: “She was fantastic, she was one of the best guest judges we’ve ever had.” Hmm, how very kind of Louis … I wonder if Katy fancied him too?
Well, that’s one way to keep in with everyone Katy my love, just flirt a bit – throw out a few kind comments and you’re well in there!
Dannii Minogue Discourages Cheryl Cole Comparisons!

Having been compared to sister Kylie for years, mum-to-be Dannii Minogue is no stranger to being measured up against famous pop stars. So the Aussie singer wasn’t exactly entering new territory when people began comparing her with fellow X Factor judge Cheryl Cole.
In response to the constant Cole comparisons, to You magazine Minogue recently said: “It’s hard because you want to have your own vibe. I have been through this with Kylie. Who is better? Who is prettier? Who has got the nicer clothes?”
Minogue is currently in Melbourne, Australia getting ready to have her first child with boyfriend Kris Smith as Cole, along with colleagues Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh, judges the first round of X Factor auditions throughout the UK. Various celebrities such as Geri Halliwell and Natalie Imbruglia have been filling in for Dannii as guest judges while she is on maternity leave.
I say Dannii needs to forget about what people think and how she compares to Cheryl, Kylie, or anyone else and make her “own vibe” by concentrating on what truly matters in life like having her first baby – which it appears she is trying to do. That’s the way to be Dannii! Good on you mate!
X Marks the Spot for Gerri!

Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell will step in as a guest judge on X Factor while Dannii Minogue is off having her baby, it’s been revealed.
Geri will join show boss Simon Cowell, Irishman Louis Walsh, and Cheryl Cole, as they kick off auditions in Glasgow later this week.
Geri, said: “I love The X Factor!”
An ITV source added: “Simon asked his celebrity pals to join X Factor and they didn’t need asking twice. They’ll all add something new and fresh to the panel.”
Halliwell was previously a judge on Popstars: The Rivals, the very show which discovered X Factor judge Cheryl Cole and her Girls Aloud bandmates, so it’s going to rather interesting to see how those two get on, now that Cole is the bigger star of the two… (Ouch, I didn’t really say that … Did I!?!?)
Other guest judges rumored to be taking part over the coming weeks are Lily Allen, Katy Perry, Natalie Imbruglia and Charlotte Church.
Boyzone Star Stephen Gately Dies R.I.P – 1976-2009

I have just heard the sad news that Boyzone star Stephen Gately has died at the very young age of 33, the News of the World is reporting.
The singer was on holiday in Majorca with his his long-term partner Andrew Cowles, according to reports.
Boyzone manager Louis Walsh said: “We’re all absolutely devastated. I’m in complete shock. I was with him on Monday at an awards ceremony. We don’t know much about what’s happened yet… He was a great man.”
I had the pleasure of knowing Stephen on and off for many years and hold fond memories of him.
R.I.P Stephen x
