Lindsay Lohan’s Not Into Dick (So Far Anyway)…
Posted on May 22nd, 2012 at 6:15 pm by SBGLA

We all knew Lindsay Lohan wasn’t into Dick, but isn’t this is getting a bit ri-DICK-ulous…
According to RadarOnline’s Jen Heger, Lohan is extremely unhappy with the choice of actors brought in to audition for the role of Richard Burton by the film’s producer Larry Thompson.
The troubled actress, who only a few days ago was out partying till the crack of dawn with Paris Hilton and Brandon Davis, is set to play the late Dame Elizabeth Taylor in Liz & Dick: A Love Story.
But so far she is not content with the possible choices presented to her, and is allegedly demanding a new string of auditions take place in London to find her co-star.
Gossip Girl’s Matthew Settle, ex-British soap actor Sean Maguire, and NCIS: LA star Craig Robert Young have all auditioned for the role, and according to inside sources Thompson was vey happy with the three actors and was set to leave the final decision to Lohan.
However, little Miss Lohan has so far turned her party loving nose up at the producers’ choices. Shock, Horror!
A source told the tabloid website earlier today: ‘‘Lindsay declared that none of the actors were the right fit and that she wanted to go to London to look for a possible Burton actor there.
”Lindsay is being an absolute nightmare about who should play Burton. She believes Matthew Settle is too old to play the role, and she wants a major A-list star to be her co-star.
”However, her salary for the role took up a major portion of the budget, and the Burton gig will likely only pay $200,000, max. The producers don’t need to get Lindsay’s approval of who will play Richard Burton, but they want to keep her happy.”
Heger was told that the Producers will NOT be following up on Lindsay’s request for a trip to the UK because there is not a big enough budget, but are trying to appease her wishes,
The Radar source added: “There just isn’t any money in the budget, or time, to do so. The producers will try to land someone that Lindsay likes, but, if push comes to shove, they will just cast the role without her approval.”
Another source close said: “The actress is out of her mind, she wants Ewan McGregor or Brad Pitt, she’s nuts if she thinks this is possible, this is for Lifetime not Weinstein!”
The movie is set to begin filming in a few weeks… Oh dear…I can’t wait to hear how it all unfolds!
Is This Lindsay’s Dick…? Actor’s Screen-test Leaked On Twitter!
Posted on May 7th, 2012 at 9:14 pm by SBGLA

As the media hounds wait with baited breath as to who will be announced to play Richard Burton opposite Lindsay Lohan, much speculation is surrounding British actor, Craig Robert Young.
As rumors swirl, the word is that Young has already caught the eye of casting directors for the upcoming Lifetime original - Liz & Dick: A Love Story.
However, I’m told the debate is that Lifetime want to cast a name in the role and the producers want to cast and unknown.
Last week I revealed a bunch of names on Lohan’s personal wish list, and one of them just happens to be Craig Robert Young.
Mysteriously, today, a video which show’s the actor as Richard Burton was leaked on Twitter, it shows Young as Burton in what looks like an actual screen-test for the film. I must say its convincing stuff!
One thing is for sure; whoever lands the coveted role of Burton is heading for a helluva lot of attention… Lindsay’s “comeback” is sure to grab more than a few headlines!
Amanda De Cadenet Takes The Conversation To NYC…
Posted on May 7th, 2012 at 3:30 am by SBGLA

British TV host Amanda De Cadenet was in New York City last night rubbing shoulders with actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
The pair was all smiles, as they appeared side-by-side at a launch party for Amanda’s new U.S talk show The Conversation, held at DVF Studio.
Last month I reported, how Amanda celebrated with some of her other A-list friends like the show’s executive producer, actress Demi Moore and Rachel Zoe at another kick-off party in LA.
This time around, Gwyneth was on hand to help her “friend” De Cadenet, drum up some attention for the popular Lifetime interview series.
Gwyneth told the press on arrival: “Amanda and I are old friends. We met probably like in 1993 and stayed in touch.” She added: “In the last 10 years, we became really close friends.”
Los Angeles based De Cadenet says she doesn’t have a dream guest for the show, ”There are so many amazing women in the world. I’m excited!” She says.
And the sexy blonde isn’t just interviewing her famous friends either. She said: “Less than 50% were my friends. I’d just met Zoe Saldana the day before. And Diane (von Furstenberg) and I had just met.”
Other guests at the event hosted by fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg, included Diane Kruger, Rashida Jones and Malin Akerman.
Catch The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet Thursday nights at 11 p.m. EST on Lifetime TV.
Amanda De Cadenet Soon to be Back on the Box with BFF Demi Moore!
Posted on October 19th, 2011 at 3:42 pm by SBGLA

Stunning British babe and renowned photographer, Amanda De Cadenet has always had friends in high places, so its not surprising to hear she is about to make the mother of all comebacks with her longtime BFF Demi Moore (you know, that superstar who’s been on the front pages a lot recently) in a new interview series for major U.S. cable network Lifetime TV.
The Conversation will be hosted by De Cadenet with Moore and De Cadenet both executive producing. The series features celebrity interviews that provide a refreshing and modern take on all topics universal to women.
During the eight one hour-long programs, De Cadenet will speak with her interview subjects about a wide variety of topics including sexuality, body image, career, finances, politics, relationships, and human rights. She will sit down with some of the world’s most famous women, I mean seriously, we’re talking MAJOR A-list… There will be a few lesser-known figures too, but Oprah and Barbara Walters might well be sweating a bit when this show hits our telly screens…
Amanda began her career at age of 16 as the host of the U.K. television shows, The Word and The Big Breakfast. After becoming one of England’s best-known personalities, she decided her true place was behind the camera (though personally I don’t agree, she is just too gorgeous!) and she began taking pictures. In 2005, she released her first book of photographs, Rare Birds, and De Cadenet is the youngest woman to ever shoot a Vogue magazine cover.
In a recent interview, De Cadenet said: “The Conversation came from the many questions I was asking the women in my own life, whilst trying to manage being a mother to three kids and wife to my husband, maintain a career and not lose myself in all of it.”
She added: “Every woman should have access to the information and solutions we talk about on this show. The Conversation will open the doors on the universal language of women and allow them to do that.”
I have to say, I am a big fan of Amanda’s and have always thought her a beauty and I reckon when she hits American TV screens (again) with this series, she’ll be another in a very long list of top British personalities taking on Tinseltown, and I love that!
GO MANDY!
