Lisa Vanderpump Left Feeling Betrayed By Telly Freeloader Cedric Martinez!
Posted on February 2nd, 2011 at 8:11 am by Sean Borg

I’m never surprised when I hear a gay man has fallen out with his best girlfriend. If I had a dollar for every time that happen to me I’d be well on my way to buying a house like the one Lisa Vanderpump lives in!
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has revealed how she was left ‘devastated’ and feels ‘betrayed’ after falling out with the show’s ‘bit-part’ freeloader Cedric Martinez labeling him a lying, egotistical, narcissistic, vindictive, vile piece of— (fill in the blank)…
A tearful Lisa opened up on last night’s reunion episode of the show on Bravo, revealing: “He [Cedric] followed us here [to Los Angeles]…we ostensibly supported him,” She said:” We kept saying, it’s time to go. He’d been there over a year. But I did feel protective of him because he didn’t have anywhere else to go.” And it also turns out he was good for the show Lisa, come on let’s face it...
Cedric was doing so well on the hit series too, but now it seems his fifteen minutes of fame are well and truly up. The attractive 30 something lay-about had almost won the nation’s heart with his amazing and rather sad book-worthy delusions of how he was left to fend for himself after his mother ran off leaving him on the streets of Paris when just a boy. He had me convinced, and he certainly won over Lisa and Ken with his tall-tales that’s for sure!
The couple took in Martinez 15 years ago making him part of their family after he began working at their then London club, The Shadow Lounge. They claimed him as their own, giving him a five star lifestyle and lady luck shone in Cedric’s world for quite a while, seeing him living in a luxury mansion with glamorous and wealthy friends surrounding him. Talk about looking the gift horse in mouth… Ken now says he ‘hates’ Cedric and claims Martinez threatened his family and it’s all gone rather pear shaped for the French wannabe (I can just hear the violins, er, french-sty-le of course)…
Still Mr. Martinez isn’t totally alone, he regularly back and forth’s on Twitter with that other annoying Hollywood waste of space, Lady Victoria Hervey, who I hear is apparently quitting LA for New York soon. This is probably because the socialite has more or less burned every bridge she has left in this town, maybe Cedric should go with her they make the perfect pair…two peas in a pod if you ask me.
Just the other night Lady ‘Smarmy’ wrote Martinez: “@martinezcedric hello sexy, u out tonight?” The self-titled model actor and 7th Real housewife of Beverly Hills then replied: @Thebritishladyv “hi babe, no i am staying in tonight, chilling in front of the TV and stuff my face.” Poor Cedric, home alone stuffing his face, says it all really doesn’t it!
But even after all this drama I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Cedric reappears in the next season somehow, just like a scene out of a tacky daytime soap… Because at the end of the day it’s all about making good television and let’s face it the return of Cedric in Lisa and Ken’s lives would definitely make compelling reality telly, wouldn’t you agree Mr. Alex Baskin!? (Ahem, one of the show’s executive producers)…
And Cedric mustn’t ever forget, in Beverly Hills it’s who you know, and our lovely Lisa knows EVERYONE!
Lady Victoria: “I’m like Lindsay’s big sister.” … Oh NO!
Posted on September 19th, 2010 at 10:19 am by
Notorious British party girl, Lady Victoria Hervey has broken her silence on her ‘close friendship’ with troubled actress Lindsay Lohan.
In an interview, which took place at the Chateau Marmont last Wednesday and was published today in The Mail on Sunday, Lady V’ claims she was at Lohan’s house the day before the interview, just days after Lindsay’s court-mandated drug test. According to the terms of Lindsay’s probation, Lady Victoria’s ‘little sister’ could serve another 30 days in jail after testing positive for cocaine.
In the interview with Caroline Graham, Lady V said: ‘We [Lindsay and I] met two years ago, when Lindsay was living here [the Chateau Marmont],’ she explains.
‘I’ve seen first-hand what her life is like, being chased by the paparazzi – when we left her house yesterday [Tuesday] there were dozens of them.’
‘My friendship with Lindsay is like that of a big sister. I know what it is like to have lots of people around you who are all on the make, are trying to sell stories about you and use you to get on. And Lindsay is in that position. I feel protective of her.’
Nice to see Lindsay’s caring friends’ rallying around for her during this difficult period in her life (you know, such as doing interviews and name dropping her celebrity)…
Might I make a little suggestion to Lady Vic’… Why don’t you take your little ‘sister’ Lindsay to the Soho House for a nice lunch, eh dear? Oh wait, maybe that’s not such a good idea after all, as word around town is that since early summer you have become persona non grata at that particular Hollywood establishment…
Message to Lindsay… Choose your friends more wisely!
Brit Week Takes Over Tinseltown!
Posted on April 21st, 2010 at 12:17 pm by Sean Borg
The Union Jack flew proud over Hollywood on Tuesday night, where some of the UK’s biggest names as part of Brit Week 2010 gathered to celebrate.
Three generations of well-known Brit celebrities and socialites (um, me being one of them) attended the invitation-only – champagne launch party at the British Consul General’s Official Residence in Los Angeles.
Guests included, telly host Cat Deeley, Singer – Mel B, Kelly Osbourne and her model fiancé Luke Worrall and veteran actress Helen Mirren, who lauded the British for being “cool and hip” at the event, and complained that her nationality are often cast as the baddies in films.
Mirren said: “I think it’s rather unfortunate that the villain in every movie is always British, we’re such an easy target that they can comfortably make the Brits the villains,”
The event is an annual celebration of British people and business’ contribution to the Californian economy. Despite being called BritWeek, the event lasts for three weeks.
Other stars on the VIP list was Jacqueline Bisset, Dancing with the Stars judge Bruno Tonioli and Lady Victoria Hervey, who, I should say looked remarkably well put together considering her appearance earlier that day when I saw her on the road back to LA, after a weekend of hard partying at Coachella…
Well-done Vicky my dear, it’s amazing what a bit of make-up can do!
Not So Loud… Nadine’s a Girl Gone Silent!
Posted on April 11th, 2010 at 9:53 pm by Sean Borg
According to Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts, the band haven’t heard a peep from LA-based Nadine Coyle since September last year.
However, Nicola is quick to make clear that as far as she’s concerned, ‘there’s no feud.’ Baffling, to say the least, eh girls?
Talking to Hello Magazine Nicola said: ‘If I’m really honest, we haven’t spoken to Nadine since we did the Coldplay gig at Wembley in September. I talked to the other girls about it on Monday, none of us have heard from her [Nadine].’
Over the past year the chart-topping girl band have worked on various solo projects during their well earned break, which has seen Cheryl Cole sore to the dizzy heights of pop superstardom, Sarah Harding in pursuit of an acting career and Nicola has created the Dainty Doll make-up range for the pale skinned.
As for Nadine, apparently she’s been working on her solo album, and I’ve often seen her hanging out with Lady Victoria Hervey on LA’s notorious party scene.
Hopefully, she isn’t turning in to a snob… Geri Halliwell made the same mistake with the Spice Girls and came running back with her tail between her legs!
If so, shame on you Nadine, don’t forget who your real friends are… Now pick up the phone and call the girls immediately, it’s your duty to do so dear…

All twittering aside, fashion designer Julia Clancey gave a two-finger salute to the fashion world after wooing Hollywood with her astounding creations last night.
Clancey pulled off one of the most amazing evenings even after finding out – one week before, that the 85 million dollar venue – she had planned to show her “All that Glitters” 2009 couture collection at, had fallen through.
My Night with the “Original” Sienna!

Last night I attended the birthday bash of gorgeous British actress Sienna Guillory. Sienna has featured in many films over the years from The Time Machine to Eragon, her star is constantly on the rise.
The Party, an informal gathering held at Hollywood hotspot, Bar Deluxe on Cahuenga Boulevard was in full swing by the time I got there. I never like arriving to places on my own, so I brought along my trusty pal, hair stylist Barry Halkides and his good friend, Charles Neal.
