Darling, Sweetie… Proof That Lady Gaga Is an Ab Fab Fan!?

It looks like pop singer Lady Gaga is heading up the campaign to bring back Absolutely Fabulous, dressed in what appears to be a tribute to one of the shows stars. And if you ask me this look makes the ‘Lady’ a dead ringer for Patsy Stone!
For those of you who don’t remember, ‘Ab Fab’ with Joanna Lumley (as Patsy) and Jennifer Saunders (as Eddy), the series last aired in the UK on 25 December 2004.
It dominated the television airwaves back then and almost everywhere you went you could hear the “sweetie, darlings” spewing from the drunken ‘in’ crowd’s mouths as they sat sipping on their Bolli Stolis, mimicking the hit shows characters. I knew many of them!
Gaga is always so stylishly dressed, but it was the trademark blonde beehive and leather biker jacket so reminiscent of ‘motorcycle’ Patsy, that had me convinced she must have once been a big fan of the show… Well, wouldn’t you agree?

Having One ‘el of a Time!

Elton John looked like he was enjoying himself at the Almay Ball in New York yesterday, and I can see why!
Surrounded by hot, half-naked dancers he gave a brilliant performance of Madonna’s Like A Virgin at the concert that benefited Sting’s charity, the Rainforest Foundation.
He also joined the other stars, Lady GaGa, Sting, Debbie Harry, Bruce Springsteen and Shirley Bassey in a rendition of Journey’s Don’t Stop Believin’.
If doing my bit for charity can involve those seven dancers, then count me in!
Just one question: what’s the guy on the right pointing at?!
I ‘Wannabe’ Like Gaga! Geri Spice Plots Comeback…

Rumors have been swirling for a while now, but former Spice Girls singer Geri Halliwell has confessed that she is planning to relaunch her solo career and is back in the studio working on a new sound to unleash on the popmarket (quick grab the earplugs!)
On her official website Geri said: “I’m back in the studio…. which I’m really enjoying. So I’ve been playing lots of music in the house, which [her daughter] Bluebell and I have been dancing around to.
I have discovered that Bluebell loves Lady Gaga! Great taste huh?”
It’s been a while since Halliwell last released an album; she made a brief return to the UK music scene in late 2004 with the single Ride It, which reached number four in charts. However, a follow-up track Desire was brought out six months later in May 2005, but it failed to impress ears, her album Passion shortly followed but stalled at the dismal chart position of 41.
Halliwell’s recording contract with EMI wasn’t renewed, and in interviews Geri has stated that she isn’t interested in recording another album, until now…
So, is Geri’s going Gaga, eh? Hmm, that I can’t wait to see… (Sarcastically.)

Lady Gaga has confessed that she is a secret Susan Boyle fan; I mean talk about chalk and cheese!
The outrageous singer admitted, “I love Susan Boyle. She is my woman of the year. She has achieved more in this year than most artists will in a lifetime.”
Well, well, I wonder what the hairy angel will make of this?
Gaga added, “This time last year nobody even knew who she was and now she is knocking the world’s most established artists off the album and singles charts.” She continued, “Our styles are different. I don’t know if we could work together, but never say never. It would be great to work with somebody of that talent.”
Boyle has already won an army of loyal celebrity fans including OPRAH WINFREY, ELAINE PAIGE, DEMI MOORE and even the US president BARACK OBAMA with her rags to riches story, but Lady Gaga? I would have never have believed this if were not for my well- placed source in the Gaga camp who is, ahem, should I say, um, pretty well placed indeed…
Well, one thing’s for sure, at least they have one thing in common… the pair of them appear to be absolutely bonkers.
Gaga told a pal that she had followed Subo’s meteoric rise ever since she saw her first Britain’s Got Talent audition on popular website YouTube and has been a loyal fan ever since. The pal added, “Lady G would love to get the chance to perform with Subo as soon as possible.”
What a double act that would be eh, SuGa? GaBo? I love it, can’t wait!
