The Bulge is Back! David Beckham Strips Again… This Time For H&M

Now ladies, (and er, and some gentlemen of course), the holidays are over and the January blues are probably starting to creep in…

Well, fear not because here is a little (well, not so little) something that will bring you a bit of excitement, in the shape of the one and only, Mr. David Beckham… um, bulging in his underwear…

I said you would get excited!

Beckham announced last July that he would be launching his own underwear range with retail fashion chain H&M, but even better than that; he would model them himself!

Finally, the wait is over, as images of David showing off his sexy-toned body, his extensive tattooed artwork and his neatly packaged golden-balls have arrived!

In the pictures, the father-of-four gives off a mean and moody look while posing in a pair of white trunks that leave little to the imagination. Not too dissimilar to David’s previous underwear campaign with Italian designer giants – Armani.

This time however, men will be pleased to know that they can now buy a pair of Becks’ briefs for an affordable price of £9.99 (that’s around $17 U.S).

Earlier this year the footballing legend spoke to WWD of his plans to branch out into the fashion world, stating that there is a “real market for good-looking, well-made men’s body wear.”

He was truly excited about his up and coming venture and continued to say, “I can’t wait to show people the collection – although I’m not sure my mum will be too happy seeing a billboard image of me in underwear again.”

Er, well, your mom might not be too happy Becks, but I reckon that half of the world’s population will be!

For years now it appears that David Beckham was the main breadwinner in the Beckham household, from his high-profile brand sponsorship deals, to his £128million five-year deal at his current football club LA Galaxy…

But now it seems the tide is turning for our golden couple, and as Becks’ soccer career show signs it may well be slowing down, Victoria’s ‘VB‘ fashion label is generating more cash than ever, this year alone it raked in more than £15 million in its first three months, wowza!

The mum-of-four has turned her small dress line into a massive global success…Is there nothing this pair can’t touch without turning it into gold!?

Many stars from Brit actress Kate Winslet to Eva Longoria, singer Cheryl Cole, and even Katie Holmes have all worn Posh’s clothes.

A source close to the Beckhams said; “Victoria never dreamed her clothing range would be successful. She is close to eclipsing David!”

The couple is currently estimated to be worth around £165million, so I guess we can predict that to rise quite rapidly now thanks to Victoria.

Based on the sales figures from first quarter of 2011 VB’s annual sales could top £60million by the end of this year…

Er, top notch dosh, wouldn’t you agree?!

The Union Jack’s Flying Half Mast At the Beckham Home!

I wonder what Gerri Halliwell’s Union Jack dress would make of all this, eh?

When the Los Angeles Times cornered David Beckham yesterday he expressed that he would very much like to become an American citizen.

The Soccer hunk told reporters: “Our boys go to school here. They’re happy here. As long as they continue to be happy here, and my wife’s happy here, then we plan on staying.”

This comes as no surprise, as many English folk who get a mere whiff of Tinseltown immediately want to grow roots here. This place is now teaming with Brits!

Let’s be clear… The Beckhams have top-notch neighbours in Beverly Hills. The temperature in LA, LA land is almost always perfect; the city is full of beautiful people and world-class cuisine. Mrs. Beckham has her budding fashion line; their kids love it. And while the paps may still get the odd money shot or two, the Beckhams have much more freedom here than the average Hollywood A-lister…

Who wouldn’t want to reside in California?!

Even though I reckon that little blue passport would fit rather nicely in David’s Gucci leather man-purse, the desire for permanent residency probably has more to do with Becks’ earning potential in the US. With an estimated $250 million salary and endorsement deals galore, I’d say this is what lures the ‘Brit-Family’ Beckham to LA’s sunny shores.

Well, I guess if you and the fam’ are set on staying David, then you’d better start learning the lyrics to Yankee Doodle Dandy, my boy!

Posh aka Mrs. Balls of Steel!

The former Spice Girl known as ‘Posh’ has been dragged through the media mill recently and, I might add, unnecessarily so. As her husband stands accused of all sorts of bizarre goings on, which of course appear to be false, what does she do? Like any good troubled Brit’, Beckham carries on like a trouper. Gotta love this girl!

The couple recently began a $20 million lawsuit against U.S magazine In Touch Weekly and it’s publisher Bauer over a prostitute’s claims she had an affair with the star back in 2007.

In the forthcoming U.S. edition of Marie Claire magazine, Posh, now a successful fashion designer finally let’s the world know how much she still loves her soccer star hubby regardless of their ups and downs.

In the gushing interview she insists the couple are now ‘closer than ever.’

She said: “We are still so close, David and I. We were at a party the other day at my mom’s house and I was sitting on his lap. We’re very affectionate.

I looked at him and thought after being married for 11 years, we were the only couple who were even near each other at that party. We’re soulmates.”

I take my hat off to Posh, while David is nicknamed ‘Goldenballs’ in biz, in my opinion we should rename her Mrs. Balls of Steel!

Becks Isn’t Leaving the Galaxy

David Beckham has revealed that he will see out the rest of his footy contract at LA Galaxy because he is happy at the club.

He told David Letterman last night: ‘I will be playing for the Galaxy for the rest of the time now, for the rest of my contract. I’ve always honoured my contracts and I’ll do that with the Galaxy. After that we’ll see what happens, but I’m very happy there.’

The 34-year-old, who has a torn Achilles tendon, hobbled onto the show and talked about his injury, his contract in LA and how he hopes to go to the World Cup in South Africa as a spectator.

Becks sustained his injury while playing on loan for AC Milan and admitted that Galaxy was annoyed about it, but said it was ‘one of those things’.

And he thinks the World Cup will be a roaring success. Personally I hope David does get to go and support the England squad. With the WAGS rumoured to be banned because they’re a distraction someone’s got to up the glamour ante in South Africa. David, it’s over to you!

Beckham – Not Such A Good Sport…

Things can’t be rosy for you all the time, can they Becks!

David Beckham lost his cool Sunday night as he played a friendly game on the LA Galaxy home pitch, facing his former team AC Milan, where he spent five months on an extended loan earlier this year.

As angry fans heckled and booed at the footie star, Beckham appeared to finally snap. He had to be held back by security staff members who also needed to restrain an angry fan who rushed towards the footballer.

The pressure was certainly showing on his face as his wife Victoria, Simon Fuller and Tom Cruise looked on. Not your typical behaviour from the normally mild mannered soccer hottie, but thankfully despite the incident, Beckham returned for the second half of the game.

Beckham was the last man to take to the pitch and even hugged several of his former AC Milan team-mates, keeping a brave face while waving and smiling at the rowdy part of the crowd. The match ended 2-2.

Posh ‘n’ Becks Get Money For Old Rope…

Last month David Beckham got our pulses racing with a steamy underwear ad for Emporio Armani and now a new ad has debuted featuring Becks, Posh and that ubiquitous length of rope. Though judging by Vic the Stick’s best ‘sexy’ look I’m not quite sure which one’s the ropey one – sorry couldn’t resist!

Becks (as ever) looks smoking but I’m a bit over them shoving their ‘hotness’ down our throats, their poses seem so forced, almost as if they could be practicing them at home – come to think of it they probably do. OK guys we get it, you can’t get enough of each other. Yawn…

David’s due to start playing for LA Galaxy again soon but he shouldn’t expect a hero’s welcome from his Los Angeles teammates. Striker Landon Donovan is not impressed that Becks trotted off to Milan missing the beginning of the US football season – especially as he earns so much more than any other player in the states.

Donovan is quoted in a new book called The Beckham Experiment as saying: “All that we care about at a minimum is that he committed himself to us.As time has gone on, that has not proven to be the case in many ways – on the field, off the field. Does the fact that he earns that much more money come into it?”

He added: “Yeah. If someone’s paying you more than anybody in the league, more than double anybody in the league, the least we expect is that you show up to every game, whether you are suspended or not. Show up and train hard, show up and play hard.”

Oh dear David, looks like your American dream is over.

Everyone’s Talking About Beckham’s Six Storey Six-Pack!

David Beckham had me all a-tingling today with the headline grabbing unveiling of his latest ad.

The gargantuan pic showed a raunchy image of Emperor Beckham’s oiled-up torso and was draped down the front of Selfridges flagship Oxford Street store as part of Emporio Armani’s new underwear campaign…

Of course when the Beckham’s do something, they do it big… and in this case it was six-storeys big (almost as big as Victoria’s ego)… Yeah, yeah I know it’s just David Beckham talking his clothes off yet again, but you can’t ignore the wow-factor in this breathtaking image of the metrosexual midfielder – who yesterday played in England’s 6-0 win over Andorra. He’s virtually naked except for the famous underpants, and his are legs spread with braided rope wrapped around his body partially covering his tattooed arms. Beckham bondage no less – talk about quiver factor!

And I have to say I consider this to be one of the campest photo shoots the English sex symbol has done so far, well apart from that dodgy homoerotic-style shoot he did a few years back where we saw him sporting a mini-Mohawk and sticking his butt out suggestively on a bed… Oo-er! But even though I loved it, I remember wondering at the time what kind of message was ol’ ‘Goldenballs’ trying to put out by posing that way, or why he needed to go that far… To be cool perhaps? I thought he already was…

The popular soccer star was accompanied by his mother Sandra and his other most faithful fashion accessory – his life-size bling Birkin bag, and by that I mean Victoria…

I’m told Posh & Becks will both be in Los Angeles very shortly as Becks is coming back to finish the season with LA Galaxy as scheduled, though he won’t be playing his first game until around July 16 owing to his commitments to England, which Beckham says will always remain a priority.

Next month the couple will celebrate their 10-year wedding anniversary, but I’m sure Mrs B will strike me off the guest-list for any festivities they might be sharing with the showbiz world… but maybe I could sneak in the back door as staff instead, say as David’s chief oiler-upper?
