Kate Looks Great in Victoria Beckham!

There is only one word that springs to my mind when I look at these latest pictures of Kate Winslet, and is WOW…Doesn’t she look great? And guess what…The 35 year old has revealed that she hasn’t, nor will she ever, use plastic surgery to help keep her youthful looks. And on this evidence, it seems she’s doing a pretty good job without any of it either.
Kate, posing in a stunning figure-hugging Victoria Beckham dress for the April edition of U.S. Glamour, told the magazine, “No, I have never tried any of that stuff [plastic surgery]. I don’t have parts of my body that I hate or would like to trade for somebody else’s or wish I could surgically adjust into some fantasy of what they are.”
She went on to speak of times when she hadn’t been quite as confident in her looks. “When I was heavy, people would say to me, ‘You’ve got such a beautiful face’. In the way of, like, ‘Oh isn’t it a shame that from the neck down you’re questionable.”
Well there clearly isn’t any question about it now Kate! From head to toe, you look amazing! And it’s quiet refreshing to hear, that the mum of two has no intension of using the surgeon’s knife to stop the ageing process.
Good luck to you girl…did I mention she looks stunning? Oh well I’ve just said it again.
Butler Ditches the Just for Men for the Natural Grey Look!

Perhaps this new look could be for a film role? Gerard Butler is set to star in a new comedy called Playing the Field, in which he plays the coach of his son’s soccer team, but in true Butler fashion he ends up seducing all the gorgeous mothers…could that involve a middle-aged grey haired guy?
Another possible reason could be the guy is just stressed! I mean there’s just no stopping him right now. He has two films set to be release later this year, Machine Gun Preacher, a true story of Sam Childers, a former drug-dealing biker who became a crusader for hundreds of Sudanese children forced to become soldiers. And the other, Movie 43, which sees Butler star along side a host of big name Hollywood actors including Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Kristen Bell, Josh Duhamel, Naomi Watts, and Uma Thurman. Wow not a bad cast! Wait…I forgot one other, fellow grey-haired actor also appearing… Richard Gere, bet those two had lots to talk about, er, hair-wise…
Whatever the reason is for Gerard’s grey looking locks, one thing’s for sure, there’s nothing wrong growing out gracefully in my opinion. For what it’s worth, I think it rather suits him. It’s certainly worked for George Clooney!
Bond is Back!

James Bond fans rejoice! One of the longest running film franchises in history will continue! MGM has set an official release date of November 9th, 2012 for a new James Bond movie, as first reported by Deadline Hollywood.
Perhaps the best part of the news is that actor Daniel Craig will once again carry the license to kill. As SBGLA previously reported, Kate Winslet’s ex, Sam Mendes, will direct the film. The screenplay for the 23rd Bond movie has reportedly already been written, but the plot is being kept confidential.
Principal production of the action flick is scheduled to commence toward the end of 2011. In light of MGM’s restructuring after its merger with Spyglass Entertainment, the film does not yet have a distributor. It looks as though four Hollywood studios, Fox, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros., and Sony will enter into a bidding war for the distribution rights.
This will possibly be Craig’s final outing as 007 so hopefully it will be a memorable film. It sounds like it is time for Q to get all of his best gadgets ready to go!
Kate Moves Her Kids to London to be with Sam Mendes and James Bond!

Kate Winslet is moving her son and daughter from New York City to live in London to be closer to James Bond… the next James Bond movie that is. The Brit actress recently revealed that her ex-hubby Sam Mendes is still attached to direct the 23rd Bond film and that she wants him to be able to spend time with her kids while he works on the spy flick, as reported by the Daily Mail Newspaper.
Winslet said: “Sam is doing the next Bond film, all being well, and we’ll all be in England if that happens. It’s such a massive commitment for him and it’s not fair for him to commute backwards and forwards to New York from London. It would be impossible. The children will be there with me.”
The Academy Award winning actress, who was directed by Mendes in the film Revolutionary Road, added that she and Mendes remain close friends, but that there are no plans for her to appear in character alongside 007. Other than the intended release date of November of 2012, Winslet’s disclosure is the first fairly legitimate news to surface about the next Bond flick since MGM, the distributer of the Bond franchise, finally merged with Spyglass Entertainment earlier this year.
With the early stages of development of the untitled movie rumored to be underway, it appears that filming is likely to begin toward the end of next year at Pinewood film studios, which would allow production to wrap in time for the intended release date. Although Daniel Craig has said he is planning on portraying James Bond again, nothing has been confirmed.
Kate moving her family across an ocean to be with Sam is an impressive show of loyalty. Maybe the two artists will rekindle their love for each other after all. Either way, I think Sam should use his apparent influential friendship with Kate to convince her to reconsider the idea of being a Bond girl. Sam probably knows better than anyone that Kate could bring the perfect mix of glamour, class, and dramatic angst to the cut-throat world of James Bond. It would be the most titanic Bond film ever!
Winslet Watch: Kate Splits from Boyfriend Louis Dowler!

The Revolutionary Road actress, who separated from her film director husband Sam Mendes in March, has reportedly ended her relationship with her latest object of affection, male model Louis Dowler, after only four months.
Regarding the recent break-up, to MailOnline a friend of Winslet’s said: “Louis was just the tonic Kate needed after her painful split from Sam and they had a wonderful time.
However, they have realized their relationship isn’t working and Kate needs space to be on her own.”
The source added: “She is very grateful to Louis for helping her pick her life back up after her marriage ended and they had a lot of fun together, but she felt it had come to an end and wants to concentrate on her career and children.”
Winslet, who has a six-year-old son with Mendes and a ten-year old daughter from her first marriage to director Jim Threapleton, was thought to have been considering getting married to the British model.
Whenever a romantic relationship does not work out it is always very sad, but at least it ended before Kate and Louis become too attached by tying the knot.
It appears Kate felt her relationship with Louis was not strong enough to endure in the long run and, in light of her previous relationship experiences, she probably knows a thing or two about what it takes.

Winslet Watch: Mom on the Run!

Who’s that girl in the street with the funny looking sunnies on? Could it be… Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet?
The mother of two was recently observed on her way to her daughter’s school in NYC with what appears to be a purple lunch bag in hand. Since she separated from her husband of seven years, Revolutionary Road director Sam Mendes, earlier this year, the Titanic star seems to be on the mend as she raises her family and continues working. She has also reportedly found happiness in the arms of male model Louis Dowler, who the British actress has been seeing for a few months.
Winslet is currently working on a film called Contagion along with Matt Damon, Marion Cotillard, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Jude Law. The movie tells the story of a team of doctors hired by the Center for Disease Control to deal with a possible epidemic outbreak. The film, being directed by Steven Soderbergh, is expected to be released in late 2011.
Props for being such a great mom, Kate; however, you might want to re-think those baggy mom-jeans… (just a friendly suggestion.)
Winslet Watch: Kate’s Getting Back on Track!

She’s been keeping a low-profile since news of her divorce from Sam Mendes was announced, but in the last couple of days Kate Winslet has slowly been emerging to face the cameras.
On Easter Monday she finally left her 3.9m Chelsea apartment and took 6-year-old son Joe to the cinema in New York.
And this morning the couple presented a united front to do the school run with both Joe, and 9-year-old Mia, Kate’s daughter from her marriage to Jim Threapleton.
Kate looked casual and make-up free for both outings. Good for your Kate, it must be awful having everyone speculate about what went wrong and scrutinising your every move, and I’m glad you’re keeping things civil for the kids.
And frankly, it’s refreshing that neither of you are claiming ‘sex addiction’ for the end of your relationship!
Now, if only we could find Sandra…poor girl, she’s not the one who should be hiding out!
Winslet Watch: Sam and Kate Plus 2!

Actress Kate Winslet and hubby director Sam Mendes were spotted together with kids in tow in NYC, despite announcing their separation only a few weeks earlier.
Their parting of ways by the looks of things, appeared very “amicable,” however, though it was smiles all around as they strolled through the busy city streets, neither of them were wearing their wedding bands…
If Sam and Kate aren’t getting back together, at least they’re able to put aside their differences for the sake of the little ones, something Jon and Kate Gosselin seem unable to do.
Let’s hope Sam and Kate don’t go down the same dodgy path taken by Jon and Kate and instead find their way back onto the road to a happy marriage – in the world of Hollywood this road would be quite revolutionary (though I must say, it looks highly unlikely at this point!)
