Keira Knightley and Jude Law Begin Filming Anna Karenina!

Production of the epic love story Anna Karenina has officially commenced, according to the film’s U.S. distributor Focus Features. Filming is taking place on location in both Russia and in the United Kingdom
The project reunites actress Keira Knightley, who is playing the title character, with English director Joe Wright after the two previously worked together on Pride & Prejudice and Atonement. Knightley’s on-screen husband, the character Aleksei Karenin, is being portrayed by Jude Law. English actors Aaron Johnson and Matthew Macfadyen are also part of the cast.
The story of Anna Karenina has been adapted for film by Tom Stoppard from Leo Tolstoy‘s famous novel of the same name. The movie, which is being produced by Working Title Films, is expected to be released in the Fall of 2012.
It will be interesting to see what type of chemistry, if any, Keira and Jude have in their first feature film together.
Women’s Clothing and Weddings… As Holmes and Watson Return!

In the upcoming Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, we see Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law reunited as Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson, in what the famed Baker Street detective describes as being the ‘single, most important’ case of his career.
Fans will not be disappointed as they get to see the dynamic duo shooting baddies, surviving explosions, getting married and even dressing up in, um…woman’s clothing…”I agree, it’s not my best disguise” Holmes tells Watson, “But I had to make do”… Er, not so elementary Holmes!
The pair are then embroiled in a series of nail-biting encounters as they attempt outwit the most notorious criminal mastermind – the ominous Professor Moriarty, played by Jared Harris.
Not to mention the stunning presence of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo actress, a virtually unrecognizable Noomi Rapace as the gypsy Sim, who reads Holmes his tarot cards, warning him: “The cards can illuminate your future. I have a feeling you’re in danger.”
An insider revealed: “Moriarty is Holmes’s intellectual equal, but his capacity for evil, coupled with a complete lack of conscience, may actually give him an advantage over the renowned detective.”
After raking in $524 million worldwide during its holiday season run nearly two years ago – according to Box Office Mojo, it didn’t take a master detective to figure out that there would be a sequel.
Best of all, from what I can tell in the high-octane trailer directed by Guy Ritchie, the same wit and style that audiences loved so much in the first installment has carried over into this film, which is sure to put as many bums on seats when it opens in theaters on December 16.
I can’t wait… Deerstalkers and tobacco pipes at the ready!
Game, Set and Match for Sienna and Tom!

It seems Roger Federer and Rafael Nadel weren’t the only ones making the headlines in at the French Open final in Paris.
In the crowd cheering on the fierce tennis battle was the gorgeous Sienna Miller and her new beau – scruffy British actor, Tom Strurridge…And they seems they were too busy kissing to watch what was going on the court!
The couple, who went public about their relationship last month, looked very much like ‘loves-young-dream’ as they couldn’t keep their eyes off each other at the Roland Garros Stadium, yesterday.
Even when Tom, 25, did manage to catch a glimpse of the action on the court, Sienna would give him a sad – adoring gaze, which would quickly be followed by giggles and kissing. …Ahh young love, eh?
Strurridge, who has starred in such films, as The Boat That Rocked and Vanity Fair, was first linked to Miller in back in April after her split with Jude Law last February, and I must say this pair look much more suitably matched!
Sienna is simply stunning, and a real Ace. You could even say it was Game, Set and Match for Tom…ok, so I’ll stop with the tennis jokes, and for those of you interested in the tennis, Nadel won by 3 sets to 1.
So, a good day in Paris all round, I’d say!
Daniel Craig Takes Rachel Weisz on a Louis Vuitton Shopping Spree!

On screen he plays secret agent and ladies man, James Bond, and now it seems Daniel Craig has a ‘license to thrill’ the ladies in real life too, as he took his new leading lady, Rachel Weisz, on a shopping spree in London’s Mayfair…Every girl’s (and boy’s) dream, surely?
The couple tried to avoid being seen together, however it looks like they didn’t try hard enough as they were spotted leaving the Louis Vuitton store and getting into his waiting BMW…Not quite 007′s Aston Martin but I guess it’ll do.
Rachel and Daniel have been dating since last December after Weisz split from her film director fiancé Darren Aronofsky after nine years together. They still remain close as they have a four-year-old son together, Henry. But Craig may have to keep a close eye on his new lady as the British actress in currently filming her latest movie, 360, with newly single and fellow Brit, Jude Law!
The beautiful Weisz was seen enjoying a number of passionate kisses with co-star Law during filming only last week… It all sounds like a major drama in itself doesn’t it? I’m pretty sure it’s all very innocent and beside who in their right mind would try taking on James Bond! I know I wouldn’t!
Sienna’s Beginning To Look a Lot Like Christmas!

I hate to be the one to break this to you all, but Sienna Miller will NOT be appearing in panto this Christmas as Little Red Riding Hood… Although we wouldn’t blame you for thinking such crazy, as the 28 year old was spotted in west London sporting similar entire to the fairy tale character.
Sienna, along with boyfriend Jude Law, battled against the freezing cold weather to attend a pleasant carol service at St Paul’s church in Knightsbridge, London.
It’s always nice to see people getting into Christmas cheer and what better way to do so than a good old Christmas song-along.
The couple headed off in a taxi after the service and finished the evening with cocktails at the Cuckoo Club. But say what you will about the red cape with fur hood, but it certainly look like it was warm and in the current London weather… That’s all that matters.
Winslet Watch: Mom on the Run!

Who’s that girl in the street with the funny looking sunnies on? Could it be… Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet?
The mother of two was recently observed on her way to her daughter’s school in NYC with what appears to be a purple lunch bag in hand. Since she separated from her husband of seven years, Revolutionary Road director Sam Mendes, earlier this year, the Titanic star seems to be on the mend as she raises her family and continues working. She has also reportedly found happiness in the arms of male model Louis Dowler, who the British actress has been seeing for a few months.
Winslet is currently working on a film called Contagion along with Matt Damon, Marion Cotillard, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Jude Law. The movie tells the story of a team of doctors hired by the Center for Disease Control to deal with a possible epidemic outbreak. The film, being directed by Steven Soderbergh, is expected to be released in late 2011.
Props for being such a great mom, Kate; however, you might want to re-think those baggy mom-jeans… (just a friendly suggestion.)
Socialite Davinia Taylor Cuts Kate Moss Out of Her Life!

Brit socialite and actress Davinia Taylor has cut ties with her partying pal Kate Moss. This extreme measure has been taken after Taylor spent time in rehab last year and recently lost custody of her three-year-old son Grey in her divorce from sports agent David Gardner. Taylor has been a close companion of Moss and Sadie Frost (Jude Law‘s ex-wife) since the 1990s, when the trio regularly partied together in London.
After the birth of her son in 2007, Taylor admits she embarked on booze binges and suffered panic attacks as a result. After the celebrity slit her own wrists, she sought professional help and was advised by rehabilitation specialists to sever all ties with her party life.
Taylor, to OK! magazine, recently revealed: “I can’t see my old friends who party. Kate and her daughter used to live with me, but [experts] said in rehab that you have to cut all ties. It was the hardest thing I have ever done. She’s sent messages asking if I’m ok. And I am.”
The seemingly reformed party girl has also vowed to quit drinking alcohol and added: “I will never drink again. My child will never see me drunk.”
For someone as social as Davinia, cutting off friends probably is one of the hardest things to do, but I imagine overcoming her addiction is going to be even harder. I admire her courageous attempt to do so. Good luck Davinia! Make your son proud!
Jude and Sienna Secretly Married by Witch-Doctor!?!?

While on holiday in the Southeast Asian country of Laos, Jude Law and Sienna Miller appear to have joined in holy matrimony. The off-again, on-again couple were recently spotted hand-in-hand at a secret wedding ceremony officiated by the local village shaman.
The two actors were reportedly given red and white bracelets to mark their union. Although this exotic marriage is not legal, the news has sparked more rumours that the famous British couple are planning to get married legally in front of friends and family in just a few months time.
After all of their previous make-ups and break-ups, I say these two could benefit from a practice marriage first anyway… eh Jude ol’ boy?
