No Sign of the Bounty For Jen and Gerard…

Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler have been working HARD to promote their latest film The Bounty Hunter, but it seems their efforts (and red carpet gropes) have been wasted.

The film has taken just £3.8m at the UK box office since its release two weeks ago, which added to its measly $48m at the US box office equals a box-office flop.

And the critics have been vicious to Jen, who is so desperate to prove herself as a movie actress rather than ‘Rachel from Friends’ (as Ricky Gervais called her at The Golden Globes).

TBH only got an 8% rating on movie website rottentomatoes.com and one critic, from The Scotsman said:

“The Bounty Hunter fails to locate any laughs or charm over two punishing hours as its chemistry-free leads, Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston, mug their way through two of the worst performances they’ve ever given.”

Oh dear. Looks like an epic fail for Jen and Gerry. Time to wheel out the ‘showmance’ again to get more bums on seats? Judging by the lack of chemistry in the film, we’re not buying it, on or off screen.

What do you reckon – is Jen still America’s sweetheart or should she ditch the rom-coms for good?

Butler’s Romantic Parisian Stroll With French TV Girl…

So much for Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler being an item if this story is anything to go by…

Beefcake But’s was spotted strolling around Paris at the weekend hand in hand with local TV interviewer Laurie Cholewa.

According to sources Butler met Cholewa the prior weekend, returning to Paris midweek for a full-on date that apparently lasted well into the night. One insider told People that Gerry “completely cracked” for Laurie during their sit-down interview promoting his latest film The Bounty Hunter in which he stars with Aniston.

Now reports are hinting Gerry has struck up a relationship with Cholewa…

Wow, Butler works fast, eh? Only last week paps caught Gezza at on the Seine River in Paris with his hand placed suggestively placed on Aniston’s backside giving off the impression there was a lot more going on than just promoting a movie.

So I wonder what will Jen make of all of this? Can’t wait to hear what the folk in her camp have to say!

The Thigh’s The Limit For Jen At London Prem!

Stick a fork in her – she’s done! Hot chick Jennifer Aniston stepped out in a tinfoil-inspired minidress at last night’s premiere of The Bounty Hunter in London.

She paired the silver Valentino frock with Jimmy Choo heels and an Alexander McQueen tuxedo jacket and mancessory, co-star Gerard Butler.

The pair cuddled up for the cameras and lavished praise on each other.

Gerard, who I bumped into at the Chateau Marmont in LA last week said: “There’s nothing diva-ish about her, she’s very down to earth, very sure of herself and who she is, and I’m like a little kid, who doesn’t take myself too seriously.”We had a fun script and a great director, so we just had to dive in and it was a blast.”

The lovely Jen responded by saying, “I love my Gerry. We just lucked out – director fantastic, Gerry fantastic, our crew, New York – you just can’t go wrong.”

But despite rumours that they enjoyed an off-screen romance Gerard insists in this month’s Men’s Health that he’s not the womaniser people think he is. He said: “I get laid less now that I used to, because I’m way more paranoid now. Look at f***ing Tiger Woods.”

Er, I can understand you being worried about kiss ‘n’ tell stories Gerry, but it’s a slightly different situation. You’re single Gerard so you can s**g who you like.. And don’t forget, you were chasing every bit of skirt you could at parties thrown on Oscars week… I saw you dude! Does the name Sheila Shah ring any bells?!

Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston did a steamy 27-page shoot for W magazine this month to promote their new film, The Bounty Hunter, which will no doubt get the tabloids chattering about the nature of their relationship. Again.

The pics show Gerry dressed as a policeman with the pair all over each other in the desert and covered in California dust.

The photographer Steven Klein described the concept as the “searing heat of the California desert where damsels aren’t always in distress and lawmen sometimes break the rules.”

Yawn.

I like both Gez and Jen but it’s funny how Jennifer always has a love interest around the time she has a film to promote (just saying). Still, they both look hot, and that’s the main thing!

What the Butler Saw!

Lucky Lothario Gerard Butler got an eyeful of Jennifer Aniston’s fabulous-at-forty-one bod this weekend when he jetted out to Mexico to celebrate the star’s birthday.

And I’m pleased to say that Gerry looks like he’s slimmed down since the pics taken of him a few weeks ago looking less than lithe. Well, if you’re going to hang out with Ms Aniston, you need to be into the gym!

The ‘are-they-aren’t-they’ pair has been in Cabo San Lucas along with Aniston’s pals Courteney Cox and Sheryl Crow, and is fuelling speculation that they’re enjoying an off-screen romance.

They were supposedly canoodling at a Golden Globes after-party and exchanging lovelorn looks at the Hope for Haiti, but some cynics are saying that it’s all a stunt to promote their new movie, The Bounty Hunter, which conveniently is out in March. Funny how Ms Aniston seems to have a new boyfriend whenever there’s a film to promote…

And according to sources, Butler stayed in a separate pad to Jen.

‘Gerard had his own one-bedroom villa with a private pool, but he joined Jen for all the celebrations, and they looked extremely friendly but not overly flirty in public,’ said a source.

Looks like they’re just Friends to me!

Ricky’s Tricky Golden Globes Divides Critics…

Ricky Gervais‘s hotly anticipated performance at host at the Golden Globes has garnered some harsh words from US TV critics.

He was branded ‘tasteless’ and ‘unfunny’ by the Chicago Sun Times, while Entertainment Weekly listed him under their worst moments of the show.

Ricky’s act included jibes to Sir Paul McCartney about his costly divorce, and quips about Mel Gibson and Colin Farrell’s drinking. Even America’s sweetheart, Jennifer Aniston, wasn’t safe. Gervais introduced her as ‘Rachel from Friends’, which the actress was supposedly upset about.

Personally, I think the Americans need to lighten up a little, I loved Gervais’s delivery, it was stellar!

The whole point of hiring a comedian like Ricky is that he’s not going to suck up to the A-list, and far from ‘offending’ stars like Macca, apparently Sir Paul found the whole thing funny. He gave Ricky a big hug backstage and told him he loved the joke.

Hollywood has a habit of taking itself a teensy bit seriously, so why shouldn’t Ricky create a few laughs at their expense?

And remember how Russell Brand got slated when he presented the MTV Awards in 2008? The media must have been the only ones that were outraged because he was invited back again in 2009. Team Ricky for Golden Globes 2011!

Celeb Shagger Sculfor Confirms Split With Cam

This saga has unfolded just as I predicted a few months back, former British brickie turned model Paul Sculfor has finally ended the speculation over his relationship with Cameron Diaz and confirmed they have indeed split… Like I didn’t know that was going to happen, eh Cam’!

Rumours swirled last month that they’d broken up but so far Cam’s refused to discuss the situation. However, now Essex boy Sculfor, who has also dated Jennifer Aniston, has gone on the record saying, “I’m single and very happy.”

He claims that he and Diaz are “still friends” and says he’ll be back in the States soon. “I’ll be going back to the States soon,” he reckons, but adds, “I don’t know if I’ll get the chance to meet her as I’m so busy I don’t know what I’m doing.”

Hmmm, won’t ‘get the chance’ to see her, or she’s not bothered about meeting up? Sounds like a brush off to me Sculfs. Nevermind, since you’ve already got two A-list notches on your bed post, it shouldn’t be too hard to pick up another one. Maybe you could give Steve Jones a few tips!

Butler Served At Teddy’s (By A Bevy Of Woman, That Is)…

Apparently that RocknRolla fellow, Gerard Butler has got a really big… ahem… ego (er, so I’m told).

Recently the actor hit top Hollywood nightclub Teddy’s on his own – but though the saying goes, “it’s lonely at the top”… this clearly isn’t the case for Butler – a notorious ladies man according to my spies about Tinseltown…

I’m told the sexy Scotsman, who recently signed up to star in Bounty Hunter with Jennifer Aniston, had one girl sitting on his knee, while one whispered in his ear as another dirty danced in front of him.

It would seem all that was missing was someone feeding him grapes, or at least having them shove their pretty faces right in his lap! (oo-er did I really say that… Yuk!)
