I’d call this the ultimate class divide…While Jason Statham‘s ex – down-market model, Kelly Brook has resorted to posing naked to promote Reebok EasyTone trainers, his current squeeze – up-and-coming A-lister Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is set to replace Harry Potter star Emma Watson as the new face of Burberry.

The decision to drop Watson for the Transformers actress has come as a bit of a surprise as Burberry’s sales were boosted during Emma’s year-long stint.

My fashion spy said: “Emma was a huge success. Everyone expected her to be used again. But it seems Rosie’s career is about to explode”

Rosie is best known as a Victoria’s Secret model, and will unveil Burberry’s autumn and winter collections later this year.

Papped in Los Angeles on Friday, British babe Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is getting her first major shot at tinseltown stardom, filming scenes for the new Transformers 3 movie, opposite Shia LaBeouf.

The stunning Victoria’s Secret model and girlfriend of Hollywood hunk Jason Statham, couldn’t believe her luck when she got the phone call from producers earlier this year offering her the role to replace its former star Megan Fox. Now, the actress intends to show everyone she’s more than just a pretty face!

Beauty with brains are much are much more appealing, I say… Clearly Rosie has both … Lucky ol’ Statham!

It’s so nice seeing action-hunk Jason Statham all smiles again, as he strolls happily through the streets of Los Angeles with his sexy Supermodel-turned-actress girlfriend, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

And there is much to smile about too, clearly … Rosie, has just started shooting Transformers 3 after replacing its former star Megan Fox, and from what we are being told by our insiders, director Michael Bay is delighted with her performance so far …

According to reports, the Victoria’s Secret stunner had apparently beat talents such as Gemma Arterton, Zoe Saldana and Ashley Green for the coveted role of the love interest in the movie that is set to be released next summer.

My spies also inform that Jason is so smitten with Rosie, that he confided a close pal that she could be ‘the one’ …

Well, I hope so, I’ve always said Jason would make a great husband for somebody one day, and Rosie is ticking every box a-going … Beauty, brains … Oh, and we mustn’t forget a starring role in an A-List Hollywood movie!

Love is in the air???

Looks as if Jason Statham was enjoying himself at the Coachella Valley Music Festival this weekend. Spotted with his lingerie model girlf’, the double-barreled beauty, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, it appeared that the Transporter star had tried to hide out among the events 75,000 strong crowd in the hope he’d go unnoticed. Not a chance!

He couldn’t escape to photogs for too long… I spied the sexy couple holding hands around the festival acting like a of pair lovesick puppies… Aww, how sweet!

Er, not the sort of behavior one would expect form an action man hard-nut like our Jas’!

Statham’s always been a bit of a shy boy, or so I’m told…

But judging from this extreme amount of PDA, his bashful-boy days are wayeeeee behind him, and if you ask me, Rosie’s just the type of hotbird to put on public display…

You Can’t Hide From Your Exes in Hollywood Kel!

Wow, I can’t believe Oscar week is already upon us folks and the obligatory round of hobnobbing and celebrity shoulder rubbing has begun!

Last night I spied an awkward moment that arose between two former lovers, Kelly Brook and Jason Statham when they had the uncomfortable post-breakup ‘so how are you?’ encounter at the annual Hollywood Domino Gala in Beverly Hills.

Kelly attended (without boyfriend Danny Cipriani) along with Hollywood stars including Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, Camilla Belle, Matt Dillon, Olivier Martinez, director Paul Haggis and socialite Nicky Hilton – and so did Jason.

The ex-couple were in the same room for the first time since Jason snubbed Kel at the GQ Men of the Year Awards last September.

Jason, 37, is said to have avoided Kelly at the GQ event because he didn’t want his new girlfriend to meet her. A source in The Daily Mail says: ‘Rather than risk an awkward encounter, he didn’t sit down for dinner straight away.

‘It was a pretty awkward situation. Kelly’s name is a no-go with Jason’s friends – no reference was made to her being there all night.’

Ooh chilly! Maybe Jason’s still annoyed because there seemed to be a little, er, overlap between Kelly ending her relationship with Jason and starting one with Billy Zane.

Hmm, just maybe…

Action Man Max Lands Sex and the City Sequel!

Some thrilling news just reached ‘mes oreilles’… My pal Max Ryan has landed a role in the upcoming Sex and the City sequel.

Max will play a European architect named Rikard who catches the eye of Samantha played by Kim Cattrall.

I have known the 42-year-old English action-man for nearly a decade now and think whoever was handing out the luckily breaks this week couldn’t have given it to a nicer guy.

The sexy actor has certainly earned his spurs in Hollywood, after starring opposite Sean Connery in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen he moved to Tinseltown in 2001. Since then he has starred alongside fellow Brit-actor Jason Statham in Crank, Paul W.S. Anderson’s Death Race and more recently a horror flick called Thr3e, but Sex and the City is sure to be Max’s big-screen break!

I loved the first movie, which made around $400 million worldwide last year, Cattrall, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon are all returning for the follow-up which is expected to hit theaters in the summer of 2010.

Guy’s Dolls!

A little dickie tells me Guy Ritchie is considering his next movie move, and it’s not what you’d think.

The director, who is most famous for his hardman gangster flicks is thinking about making a new big-screen adaptation of the classic musical Guys and Dolls, which is er, basically gangsters wearing jazz shoes…

If true (and my souces are pretty good) it begs certain questions, like I wonder what his ex-missus will have to say about this, as music’s her department, and who would Guy cast in the lead roles?

Well you all know what a big Jason Statham fan I am, and Guy has always been one for putting his mates in his movies, well from what I hearing Jase Stath has long fancied himself as a bit of a ‘Sinatra-style’ crooner. If there’s ever been a man with the swagger to bring back the pearly king for 2010, it’s surley got to be uber-man Statham, he’s Tommy Steele on viagra, so playing the all singing and dancing gangster might be right up his (ahem) alley.

Then there’s Vinnie Jones, he might well like a stripy suit in real life, but could I really see him shuffle-ball-changing across a sound stage…? Erm maybe not!

As for Ewan McGregor he is the likeliest candidate to take a part if offered. McGregor trod on the boards back in 2005 playing dashing gambler Sky Masterson in London’s West End to rave reviews, his A-list pedigree would certianly be what’s needed to carry such a movie.

I can’t wait to see Ritchie’s upcoming film, Sherlock Holmes, which stars Robert Downey Jr doing his usual wry, wisecracking schtick as the title character, and Jude Law as his sidekick Watson, I saw the trailer the just recently and I have to say it looks brilliant. It’s an egregious twist for her but now Guy is finally out of Madonna’s spotlight it looks as if he is on course for a massive blockbuster…

I really hope Ritchie can pull this one off, after all Chicago did wonders for its director Rob Marshall, not to mention the career of Catherine Zeta Jones, Rene Zellweger and Richard Gere, although I can’t quite imagine how Guy’s favoured cockney accents, slow-mo fight scenes and action editing techniques will work in a musical. But ‘ang abaaat maybe that’s just what this musical needs…

Oh well, at least now he’s back on the market he won’t be forced into casting a certain someone as Miss Adelaide!
