Brit Chicks in Coachella Recovery Zone!

Brit chicks Catalina Guirado and fashion designer Julia Clancey had the right idea… After a weekend of parties and rubbing shoulders with the A-list at the Coachella Valley Music Festival, the celebrity darlings kept the glamour alive by showing how to recover after a rock ‘n’ roll weekend that consisted of booze ‘n’ bands.

Surrounded by paparazzi cameras while sun tanning poolside at an exclusive hotel spa in Palm Springs, former I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here star, Catalina and Clancey, were joined by Hostel actress, Barbara Nedel (formally Nedeljakova).

As the trio showed off their sexy bods, they were overheard discussing their huge hangovers and which bands they enjoyed watching perform over the weekend. Guirado was obviously having a fab weekend with the girls, she was also celebrating her 36th birthday, while her guitarist husband, Matt Cheadle was away on tour on the East Coast, bringing truth to the saying ‘when the Matt’s away, the Cat will play!’

Clancey indeed partied till the bitter end, I saw her in the crowd watching the closing act The Gorillaz, whereas Catalina and Barbara were spotted drinking the night away in the VIP area, according to sources.

But Catalina’s hubby need not worry, our photogs spotted her heading back to the La Quinta Resort with her girlie gang – alone, every night…

Ahhh, such is married bliss, eh Catalina?!

The ‘Price’ Of Fame… Katie Humiliated On US Telly!

Former topless model Katie Price aka Jordan hit the US en-route to the Australian outback yesterday where she is to appear for the second time in six years the on the popular ITV1 reality show ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’

But first the seemingly brainless celebrity popped into Los Angeles for a bit of botox, oh and to be publicly torn to shreds by on the Chelsea Lately Show.

I mean seriously man this was beyond cringe-worthy television where the ex-wife of pop-singer Peter Andre candidly admitted to having tons of plastic surgery (a BIG no-no here in Hollywood for starters), and that was proud of the fact she was dating the cross-dressing cage fighter, Alex Reid.

The mother of the three told chat host Chelsea Handler, “I always fly over here to get my Botox done, I’m mad, and I love it. Come to LA and everyone has had it done.

“I always get my hair extensions done here as well. I fly over every three months to get my hair done and Botox. I’m mad aren’t I?

In reply Handler hysterically joked, “Well, you’re really helping our economy – we could use it.” Price then spoke of her cross-dressing boyfriend Alex Reid’s career as a cage fighter.

She said: “I don’t know if it’s big here. He does cage fighting, UFC, do you have it over here?” Handler replied, “Maybe”, before asking: “So is he a celebrity too then?” Katie said: “He might be now he’s pictured with me everywhere.”

The quick-witted telly host then replied: “Well, you’re obviously going to take him straight to the middle.”

And if that wasn’t enough to add insult to injury, Handler sarcastically described Katie as ‘interesting’ then paying reference to the number of books Katie has published, added: “Thirty-three is impressive – even if they are children’s books.”

Upon further inspection of the interview it would seem to appear that Price girl didn’t even get half of Handler’s jokes that provoked ‘piss-pant’ style laughter from the audience.

Myleene’s Sticking At It!

Myleene Klass may have had a less than enthusiastic reception as presenter of the US I’m a Celebrity… but she’s certainly getting stuck in.

The star sprayed herself with such strong insect repellent that it reacted with the varnish in her hotel room and stuck her to the bedframe. She had to be rescued by hotel staff, who ‘peeled’ her off slowly.

How embarrassing! I feel for you Myleene, a comedy incident is not exactly going to help you get taken seriously in the states. And apart from anything else, what were you wearing when the accident happened? I hope you weren’t discovered in the all-together – that would have been a damn sight for sore eyes, oo-er!

Klass Flies The British Flag On US Telly (But The Ratings Were Flagging)

Myleene Klass made her US TV debut last night on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

But after appearing on the British version in 2006, thankfully this time she doesn’t have to endure any of the disgusting challenges herself.

Klass, along with Damien Fahey, who is best known for presenting MTV’s Total Request Live, played the Ant and Dec role as the show’s co-host, which is being filmed in the Costa Rican jungle…

I thought our Myleene looked fab in a £110 one-shoulder French Connection dress, but critics so far have been sharpening their claws over her hosting skills, as for show itself, it seems to have failed to impress audiences with its disappointing viewing figures.

HitFix.com writer Daniel Fienberg said: “Hosts Damien Fahey and Myleene Klass are meant to be the eyes and ears of the audience, which means they add extra sarcasm and mockery.” He added, ”They don’t add intelligence or a specific point-of-view to accompany said sarcasm and mockery.” Ouch!

Meanwhile on the show, celebs including Heidi and Spencer Pratt, Janice Dickinson and Stephen Baldwin are currently in the jungle and ‘Speidi’ are AWFUL. They’ve already threatened to leave twice with Spencer telling NBC producers, “We’re too rich and too famous to be sitting with these people in the jungle. This cast is devaluing our fame.”

Er, what fame Spencer, erm… Pratt!?

My oh Myleene, get a load of who’s about to hit US shores! Myleene Klass has bagged a plum role fronting the American version of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! And I think it couldn’t have happened to a nicer girl…

I missed catching up with My’ at the Cannes Film Festival where I heard yesterday she was rubbing shoulders with likes of A-listers such as Hilary Swank and Paris Hilton, oo-er!

Sara Nathan’s TV Biz column in the Sun today is reporting that ‘Klassy’ girl Myleene impressed US Telly chiefs at NBC so much with her CNN film show and that this gig is now a massive opportunity for her to become a big star in the US. It is also rumored the sexy jungle gal will be being paid $100,000 to co-host with an as-yet-unannounced male star.

NBC bought the US rights to the show which has already aired one series back in 2003. It was won by Jennifer Lopez’s ex Cris Judd.

But before you Brit readers of mine get your Marks and Sparks knickers in a twist, there’s no need to panic just yet. Her UK commitments like Ten Years Younger and M&S modelling are on hold for now but she’ll be back to honour them after her three weeks in the jungle, which start on June 1st.

Though as soon as she gets back in that white bikini I’m sure it won’t be long before they’re trying to get her back across the pond. Nice one My’ I look forward to seeing you in Tinseltown in the not too distant future!
