X Factor’s Steve is Jonesing For a Bit of Publicity!

It is no secret that in it’s first season, the X Factor U.S has had its difficulties.

Surprisingly, the talent show has failed to win over the American audience and in the beginning; the blame for this appeared to fall on its host, Steve Jones.

Well, the bosses needed to point the finger at somebody, didn’t they!

Therefore, the show’s PR people had to get their thinking caps on quick to find a way to boost the Welsh hunks popularity… So what do they do? They arrange for Jonsey to appear on the Ellen DeGeneres show to have him strip half naked in front of millions of viewers!

Er, Great idea…

In the most blatant display of tacky publicity seeking I’ve seen in a very long time, the 34-year-old was asked to remove his clothes by Ellen and don a skimpy black t-shirt, which promoted the X Factor on one side and the Ellen show on the other, to which our Steve was more than game to do!

As he stood topless showing off his macho muscles and hairy chest the studio audience could hardly contain their joy and literally screamed the roof off…

Could this be the start of Jonesy’s rise in popularity stateside? We hope so!

Before ‘baring all’, Steve was telling Ellen of the difficulties he faces being the host of the show and how his biggest problem is dealing with producers orders down his earpiece during the live shows, which has lead to people to criticize Steve for cutting off the judges and rushing them.

He revealed: “There’s about five people screaming, shut Paula up. Shut her up now. Move on. I’m going to have hearing damage in this ear by the end of series. I feel terrible because I feel on occasions I’m coming across as rude and abrupt and that’s really not me.”

Well Steve, if your explanation doesn’t make people understand you are just doing your job, then stripping off will surely win them over…

Hey, it worked on Halle Berry and Hayden Panettiere. Oh and Pamela Anderson… Er, the list goes on!

X Factor’s Steve Jones Spotted with Ex-Glamour Model Keeley Hazell…

Now we all know U.S X Factor host, Steve Jones, has an eye for the ladies and it seems his Casanova ways have stuck once again… Oo-er!

Ex-Glamour Model Keeley Hazell is the latest to join the 34-year-old presenter’s ever-growing list of conquests, which includes such names as Pamela Anderson, Halle Berry and Hayden Panettiere (to list but a few)…Well Keeley, you’re certainly in good company there my girl!

The pair was seen checking into the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills last week. Now you might say to yourself this could have been nothing more than an innocent chat or drink, that is if it wasn’t for the fact that the welsh hunk was spotted buying a pack of contraceptives at a nearby garage just moments before picking young Keeley up… Nice to know that Stevie-boy plays it safe in the bedroom!

Jones’ love antics are no secret, in a recently interview with Piers Morgan, Steve jokingly stormed off after Piers questioned him about is colorful love life.

Piers then later joked on Twitter, saying he “Had him thrown off my set for lewd conduct”… Even though it was a joke, I wouldn’t put it past our Steve!

X Factor’s Steve Jones Fitting into Tinseltown Rather Nicely!

Well, it certainly hasn’t taken Steve Jones long to settle into his new Californian life-style. Gleaming white teeth… Check! Bronzed complexion…Check! Um, and you get my point folks… The boy only arrived here a little over a week ago!

The British TV star has potentially hit the big time in America after landing the job of hosting the US version of the X factor along side former Pussycat Doll, and co-host, Nicole Scherzinger (Simon just loves those exotic ladies).

And it appears Steve is fitting in rather nicely after attending the 2011 Fox Upfront party in New York with fellow team members, including Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Scherzinger and of course Paula Abdul, who incidentally never fails to keep us up-to-date with the process on her Twitter account, posting pics of her a Steve looking quit um, snug if you ask me…

I wonder if Paula has heard about playboy Steve’s reputation? In fact Cole, Scherzinger and Abdul had all better watch themselves around our Steve. Its been said many times before that he does have a way with the ladies… You only have to ask Pamela Anderson, Halle Berry or Hayden Panettiere, they all know a thing or two about Stevie… But you’ve got to love him for it.

The US X factor hit sour screens in September and we wish Steve and the rest of the gang the best of luck with the show.

Elton’s Oscar Bash Raises Tons of Cash!

How quickly Oscars came around this year. It seemed I’d only just taken off my tuxedo in 2009, then BAM! It was back on again in 2010 for the best party in town – Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Party held at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.

This year the event raised a staggering $3.9 Million for the fight against HIV and AIDS.

Presented by Chopard, Jo and Raffy Manoukian and Neuro Drinks, the EJAF Viewing Party continues to be the leading fundraiser on Oscar night in Hollywood.

The couple’s bash has become a staple for all those without an invite to the ceremony itself and this year’s guest list read like a ‘who’s who’ to the entertainment world’s biggest names, and one of the best parties thrown by the EJAF so far (still no goodie bag however, but you can’t have everything I suppose, eh David!)

I arrived with my trademark date, the stunning diamond beauty, Zeta Graff, and the evening began with a cocktail reception, dinner and viewing of the 82nd Annual Academy Awards, followed by a very exciting live auction and a high voltage performance by the iconic Grace Jones.

“I’m so blown away this year, it’s fantastic,” Elton said. “It’s our stable fundraiser for the whole year, this is by far the most important, it gets us the most publicity and it raises the most money.

“It’s hard work because you have to walk around shaking hands with everyone but when we go home and it’s all finished we’ve met people and we’ve seen great entertainment close up.”

Drawing out quite a few of our favorite celebrities, Victoria Beckham and Heidi Klum were spotted looking as elegant as ever – even Victoria (who I often label Vic-bore-ria) was far from boring when she grabbed me and gave a big hug as she exited the ladies loos, “Sean!” she yelled… “How are you? I’m a bit drunk so no photos!” OK, so Posh is back in my good books!

Not far behind the beautiful models were “Glee” co-stars Lea Michele and Cory Monteith, followed by a brunette Hayden Panettiere.

Representing the Brits this year were the likes of recently engaged Simon Cowell who was glued to his foxy fiancé Mezhgan Hussainy all night, Mel B, fashion designer Julia Clancey, Amanda Holden, Michelle Collins, Katie Price, and Sharon and Kelly Osbourne who stopped to have her picture taken with me. Kelly was one of my favorites of the evening to be honest, beaming from cheek to cheek. She told me that she was feeling on top of the world, and who could blame her, you only have to look at the transformation she has undergone – quite unbelievable.

Nicole Richie made her way into the swanky party along with Kimora Lee, Christina Hendricks, Michelle Rodriguez and the very lovely Jennifer Hudson who also stopped to chat to me, Jennifer told me she happy when she heard Simon [Cowell] was engaged: “I am so happy he is finally settling down,” she told me.

Miley Cyrus also hit the party with Liam Hemsworth. Cyrus finally confirmed what we already knew, that Liam was her official boyfriend, and Miley told the press at the event, “I think we’re both deeper than normal people—what they think and how they feel. He’s very grateful for what he has, but he doesn’t let it go to his head. I’m like that too.” How sweet!

It was a long day! Fabulous food, lots of chocolates and wall-to-wall celebs… I could have stayed all night and kipped (slang word for slept) in the corner till morning, but thankfully sometime just after midnight I was rescued by dear friends, British actor Craig Young and Michael Di Girolamo who dragged me into their chauffeured limo!

What fun was had, my gorgeous ‘Graff’ date, my photo with Elton, Kelly Osborne’s super-slim waist, Posh and Price all smiles, Godiva chocolates, and nearly $4 mil’ raised for charity… Ah, now I can rest my weary head, it was a night well worth it, roll-on next year!

Steve Gets Jonesed By Hayden…

Well the pixie’s dust has finally worn off giving ladies man Steve Jones a taste of his own bad medicine from telly hottie Hayden Panettiere.

The petit 19-year-old Heroes star told the Daily Mirror: “I’m single and mingling. Steve lives in London, the distance is a bit too much.” Sounds like a diplomatic way of giving him the elbow to me…

She continued: “Cannes was a great experience. I was on vacation and some friends were going so I decided to come along. It was fun.” Ouch!

Steve is used to being the one in control of his romances, and has been linked with everyone from Halle Berry to Fearne Cotton, but this time it looks like he’s met his match. Nice work Hayden!

But don’t worry Steve, I’m sure there’ll be more A-list ladies to try your luck with travelling through London soon, actually I believe Mischa Barton needs a bit of a career boost right now, hmm on second thoughts maybe Mischa’s a bit too low rent!

Panettiere Sprinkles Steve Jones With Celebrity Pixie-Dust Giving His Career A Stateside Boost

Welsh womaniser Steve Jones seems intent on shagging his way up the A-list ladder. After dalliances with Pamela Anderson and Halle Berry he’s now been spotted by er… just about everybody frolicking on a yacht in Cannes with Heros starlet, Hayden Panettiere. Nice work Stevie!

I love Hayden, but I much more preferred seeing the other snaps of Steve doing the rounds sipping cocktails next to David Furnish, who incidentally was proudly showing off his very sexy man-chest for the world to see, but then maybe that’s just my taste…

Guy-Candy Steve, now 32, has never had a problem pulling the ladies, and after plumbing the depths in what appeared to be a desperate search for a celebrity girlfriend back in the UK, but now I reckon Jonesy might have just cracked it!

Panettiere’s celebrity pixie-dust could well be the perfect magical ingredient needed to give his career a big boost in Tinseltown. Already the E! Network in America have dubbed Steve the ‘New Hunk’ and now I’m even writing about him, go figure!

Anyway, while I can obviously see the attraction, you know… famous sexy girls, bright lights, big city ‘n’ shit, I think Stevie needs to be a bit more careful. He’s good-looking enough to launch a hosting career in the US, but at the minute he’s more in danger of being labeled a celebrity climber because of his famous conquests. And let’s face it ‘boyo’ (er… that’s me being Welsh btw), no one wants to be the next K-Fed now do they? So cool it with the PR Steve!

But the Welsh wonderboy is not exactly known for his long-term relationships either, so let’s see if his romance with Miss Panettiere – who I have to mention is only 19 – lasts longer than the film festival itself.

And if he does manage to beat the odds, surely there’s one bit of field research he’s so far overlooked back in the UK… Sienna Miller, I give you… Steve Jones!
