Peaches and Eli’s Relationship Spoils!

British socialite Peaches Geldof‘s relationship with American film director Eli Roth has reportedly come to an end.
A source told the Daily Mirror: “Peaches is really sad that things didn’t work out with Eli. They were very much in love and she’d never been so nuts about a guy.”
The couple, who were rumoured to be engaged, apparently broke up because they were not going to be able to spend enough time together due to their separate and busy careers.
The insider explained: “It was almost better for them to part ways before things got even trickier with making time for each other. Both are hard workers and have huge work commitments coming up, so they were due to be spending too much time apart.” Geldof and Roth apparently still remain “great friends.”
Geldof is said to be focusing on building her status as a (ahem) TV presenter (laughs).
For some reason it does not seem like Peaches is exactly devastated by the dissolution of her relationship with Eli. If they were truly in love and invested, I think they would have found a way to work it out despite their busy schedules. Maybe Peaches is looking for a boyfriend who is less ripe.
Well, I guess it was not meant to be. I hope both Peaches and Eli are able to move on with their lives and find lasting happiness.

Peaches to Secretly Marry Director Eli Roth!?!?

A source close to Peaches Geldof says the British celebutant is planning to marry movie director Eli Roth as early as January, according to BANG Showbiz. The wedding is reportedly to be a traditional Jewish ceremony, in accordance with Roth’s faith, and will be held on a New York rooftop.
Speaking about the couple’s plans, the insider said: “They are confident this is the real deal. They want a wedding on a New York rooftop and plan to invite about 50 friends including [Roth's fellow director] Quentin Tarantino. Apart from the trendy Manhattan venue it will be a traditional Jewish ceremony in keeping with Eli’s family faith. They have been trying to keep it a secret.”
In terms of Geldof and Roth having children, to the Sun newspaper the source revealed: “We wouldn’t be surprised if they started a family together very soon.”
It remains to be seen whether or not dear Peaches will convert to Judaism, which would be necessary if the wedding is to be recognized as orthodox. If Peaches does convert, I wonder what the members of her synagogue will think of their newest congregant… the picture perfect virgin bride!
If the two do get married, it would not be Geldof’s first time, seeing as the 21-year-old married American musician Max Drummey in 2008, only to divorce him seven months later. Good luck Eli!
Ride Em’ Peaches!

Sir Bob’s daughter, Peaches Geldof demonstrates ‘what not to wear’ when riding on the back of a Vespa in Los Angeles yesterday. At least she did the sensible thing of wearing a crash helmet as she rode around town on the back of a male friend’s bike.
I hear the twit-girl socialite and wannabe model actually twitters her locations now so as the paparazzi can find her more easily. Wait, who on earth could miss her dressed up like that in broad daylight anyway?!
Looking as if she had been up all night partying and still on the go, in a gold sequined dress exposing her red swimsuit bottoms, Peaches’ outfit left little to the imagination. What would her boyfriend Eli Roth say about this?
I suppose this is one way to gain a few more column inches … Memo to Peaches: Time to get yourself a job dear and do something more constructive with your life, your daddy is far from impressed with your headline grabbing antics … Trust me, I know!
Busy Working Peaches?

Peaches Geldof has been joined at the lip to boyfriend Eli Roth recently but it seems even he has to work sometimes.
Meanwhile Peaches was left alone to soak up the sun by a pool in LA yesterday and work on her tan.
But she did look a wee bit pensive in the pics – maybe she was just killing time until Eli came to pick her up.
Peaches’ ‘careers’ as a DJ/writer/actress/model have stalled of late due to her being embroiled in tabloid scandal after scandal. Maybe just the thing she needs is some time alone to reflect on her next move!

It must be a good ten minutes since Peaches Geldof has been in the papers so she’s been going out of her way to avoid any more press attention (yeah right) by posting snaps of herself sunbathing in skimpy beachwear on Twitter.
On the plus side, her stars and stripes bikini is way less controversial than the Confederate flag T-shirt she was snapped in a few weeks ago, but on the other, that casual ‘on-a-phonecall while smooshing boobs together’ stance is a bit too Page 3 try-hard, darling.
Maybe she thinks posting pics of her posing in her smalls will help her get another lingerie contract. After being dropped from Ultimo she’s in the market for a new job!
Peaches’ On Her Best Behavior – Daddy’s in LA…

Wild-child Peaches Geldof was on her best behavior last night attending an LA party under the watchful eye of her father, Live Aid hero Sir Bob Geldof.
The 21-year-old socialite has been working on rebuilding her damaged reputation of late, after being dropped from a high-profile modeling contract with lingerie giants Ultimo when naked photos of her appeared on the Internet.
Appearing well coiffed (and somewhat over fake-tanned!) as she arrived hand-in-hand with current boyfriend Eli Roth at Teddy’s club at the Roosevelt Hotel, Peaches posed happily for the cameras, and did her best ‘butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth’ act.
Could this be a new Peaches we see? Well, Daddy was just a few feet behind so I doubt it, more than likely this good-girl ‘act’ was just for him.
Maybe Sir Bob is taking a leaf out of Britney’s dad, Jamie Spears’, book and keeping a tighter rein on his daughter by staying close. After all, the party was hosted by trendy mag Nylon – not exactly Bob’s usual cup of Fairtrade tea when it comes to social events!
Peaches’ Problem to a Tee!

Sometimes I think this column should be called ‘What Peaches did Next’ because there doesn’t seem to be a day when the Geldof girl doesn’t get herself into trouble.
Perhaps I should even consider producing a documentary on her… Now there’s a thought, eh Peaches, having me follow you around day and night?!
Anyway, this time, the little minx is wearing a T-shirt that has been described as ‘racially insensitive’.
She sported the shirt, which depicts the Confederate flag, to a party in Hollywood last night, and was probably unaware that it is considered by many to be a symbol of racism due to the flag’s links with slavery. I hope she was ignorant of this anyway!
During the 1861 to 1865 American Civil War, it was the flag of the Confederate states that supported slavery, and it now is banned by many American schools.
So it’s straight out of a drugs scandal and into a racism furore. Peaches, you’re forever telling us how intelligent you are, how much you read and that you’re a serious writer, but um, maybe you should read a book on American history. Might save you yet more trouble you could do without.
Sister Act! Pixie Parties With Peaches at Coachella

Pixie Geldof clearly approves of her sister’s new Hollywood hotshot boyf’ Eli Roth…
I spotted Hostel director, Roth and his 21-year-old girlfriend Peaches Geldof hanging out at the Coachella Valley Music Festival as they watched closing act The Gorillaz performing on the main stage.
Peaches and Eli appear to be going strong still despite 16-year age gap between them.
Roth met Geldof in Los Angeles Oscars week; the pair went public after being photographed at the Vanity Fair party.
Many believed the relationship would have fizzled out by now but judging from yesterday’s display of smiles that was certainly not on the cards… Um, at least not yet!
Roth even showed support for scandal struck Peaches recently when images of her naked on a bed flooded the Internet; he insisted that everyone deserved to get a second chance.
How verrrry noble of you Mr. Roth!
