Cheryl Cole Bounces Back In-Style!

In December’s issue of InStyle magazine (UK) singer Cheryl Cole reveals how she was ordered by Doctors to put on weight after a health scare that almost killed her…
The ex-Girls Aloud star who caught malaria in June last year while on holiday with dancer Derek Hough, claims she was given just 24 hours to live and had no choice but to obey them to beat the illness. “I had to take good care of myself and I was told to stop exercising and to gain weight to get well. I just ate everything,” she said.
Now, Cheryl insists on keeping a low profile, while dividing her time between Los Angeles and the UK working on her music.
Currently single after a short reconciliation with ex-hubby, footballer Ashley Cole the former X Factor judge said, “It’s now less about work, work, work and more about making time to chill and be with my friends and family.”
She recently filmed a cameo role in the film What To Expect When You’re Expecting with Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez and has other movie roles in the pipeline. Although, she was quick to quash rumors that she is taking a judging role on the next season of Britain’s Got Talent after Amanda Holden admitted she would love to work with Chezza.
However, in the revealing interview, Cole states that she turned down the job a few years ago, before she even landed her X Factor seat. Saying that, “Simon had previously asked me to do Britain’s Got Talent and I’d kind of said ‘‘yes’’, then said ‘‘no’’ at the last minute and dropped them in it.”
Surprisingly, Chez also credits the late singer Amy Winehouse for introducing her to her favorite tipple. “I like a drink if it’s a night out,” she added. “Amy Winehouse once got me on to Jack Daniel’s and lemonade, which sounds strange but it’s really refreshing.”
Aww… Well, I think it’s refreshing to see Cheryl bouncing back and looking all gorgeous again after a whole year of misery, and mishaps… Good on ya’ girl!

Boozed-Up Cheryl Cole Caught Flipping the Bird… But at Who?

It seems Cheryl Cole is enjoying life once again. The former X Factor judge was spotted at a London nightclub clutching a bottle of bubbly in one hand while playfully flipping rude gestures with the other! One can’t blame her for letting loose once in a while especially after she was fired from her job, but I want to know who she was ‘flipping-the-bird’ at… Simon Cowell, perhaps?
Well, that would make a lot of sense, after Cheryl decided to have the last laugh on her ex-boss by exposing his REAL age! As Cowell was celebrating his birthday, Cole decided to congratulate the music mogul by having a plane fly over the spot where he was filming, trailing a banner, which read:“Simon is 52 today. Ha ha ha! Love Cheryl xx.”
Unfortunately for Cheryl, nothing could stop the consequences of her drinking antics as she took to Twitter the next day to enlighten us all with the news of her sore head. “Why why why why why. I just walked past the mirror and caught a glimpse of someone — I’ve no idea who she is. Me and alcohol are not friends”…
Its funny how it all seems like a good idea at the time and yet we never learn from it. Why, why, why indeed, eh Chezza?!
Nice to see she still has her British sense of humor after being kicked off the show… I would love to know what Simon was thinking when that plane was flying over!
Simon Cowell Admits Cheryl Cole Was Not Fit for American TV!

Simon Cowell recently revealed to Piers Morgan that the primary reason Cheryl Cole was ejected as a judge of the American version of The X Factor was because she was not smoothly adapting to presenting on American television.
Regarding his decision to remove Cole as judge, Cowell stated: “You come to a country like America, it’s a big deal – it takes a while to adjust and I took the view along with a few other people that she would be more comfortable back in the UK.” Cowell added: “That’s what you have to do when you produce – you have to make decisions in the moment, and I take full responsibility for it.”
Cowell also confirmed that Cole refused an offer to return to the British version of X Factor and that she also did not accept a job as judge of Britain’s Got Talent. Cowell’s revelations come after he has previously publicly apologized to Cole for her removal from the American singing competition program. Rumours have been floating around indicating Cole might become a judge on the upcoming UK edition of The Voice, but nothing has been set in stone.
If this rumour about Cole joining the UK version of The Voice is true, it would appear that she is still interested in being a singing judge, but not on a show associated with Cowell. Maybe Cheryl is concerned that any job offer she accepts from Simon will simply be terminated a few weeks later. It’s just business, eh Si?
Chezza Preps for Hollywood Debut Opposite Cameron Diaz

After the many highs and lows she endured after being fired as a judge on the U.S X Factor, there is a light at the end of the tunnel for singer Cheryl Cole.
Who would have believed all those weeks ago when Cheryl was hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons, we’d get to see her parading around a REAL Hollywood movie set with none other than Cameron Diaz, oo-er…

Looking slim and toned after hitting the gym in LA just before filming, the former Girls Aloud star is set to hit the big-time for real now.
Not only has she landed a starring role on Glee, but yesterday ‘our’ Chezza was spotted filming scenes for a new film called What To Expect When You’re Expecting in Atlanta, Georgia.
And what seems could be a little a sideswipe at Simon Cowell, Cheryl is playing a TV talent show judge for her cameo role.
Um, so there might not be too much acting involved for this part then, eh Chezza!
Cheryl also started Tweeting again after a two month break, when she wrote: ‘It’s me CC! WHERE MY SOLDIERS AT…….?!!! I can’t believe what my fingers are doing, but yes I’m tweeting: -s so here goes…X.’
Then she tweeted her new co-star Diaz, who just turned 39. She said: ‘Happy birthday Cameron, you sexy beeeyyaatchh…X.’
Hmm, Calling Cameron Diaz a “Beeeyyaatchh”… A little over familiar of her if you ask me, what was she thinking?
Cole and Diaz must be firm Bff’s already, or I am pretty sure Chezza wouldn’t get away such name calling… Remember those Charlie’s Angels high kicks Diaz once performed… Er, say no more!
Chezza (Still) Set To Crack the U.S!

Its been quite a rollercoaster of a ride for Cheryl Cole since heading stateside, what with being on the US X Factor, then not, brought back, then fired again, we could hardly keep up!
But now it seems things are finally looking up for Miss Cole, as its been reported that she has landed a role in the hit TV show, Glee!
If correct then the 28-year-old could be following in the footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow and Britney Spears, who have both made cameos on the globally huge show.
It seems her management are extremely keen make the singer a massive success in the states and are also lining up a possible role in another hit TV show, How I Met Your Mother.
Glee is one of the most popular shows on the planet at the moment, it has aired in over 44 countries and its stars are known worldwide… So if global fame is what Cheryl wants, then this is not a bad place to start.
Matthew Morrison, who plays teacher Will Schuester told Reveal magazine back in June: “Appearing in Glee would be a good way for Cheryl to crack America. She was part of FOX when she was involved in US X Factor - they also make Glee. Maybe she will get an appearance – you know know!”
By the sounds of it, Mr. Morrison might have known about this all along if you ask me…
And if starring in Glee wasn’t enough, our Chez’ is planning on hitting up the big screens too, the former Girls Aloud singer is also set to appear in the forthcoming movie What To Expect When You’re Expecting, based on the successful pregnancy guide and starring big Hollywood names such as Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Dennis Quaid, Chris Rock, and Matthew Morrison…
Back from the brink it seems… Simon gave poor ol’ Chezza the boot… Bah! What does he know anyway!?!?
Girls Aloud Star Nicola Roberts’ Upstaged by Her ‘Bingo-Style’ Veneers!

I giggled at the amount of emails and tweets I received from angry Nadine Coyle fans pissed at me for trashing the singer’s show at Splash in New York last weekend… My response? If you love her that much then buy her single, perhaps then she wouldn’t have to perform her comeback on a stage the size of a shoebox… Get it? Case dismissed!
Now it’s former Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts‘ turn…
I was looking at pictures of Nicola recently and wondered why close friends and dentists haven’t yet informed her those new veneers are far too big for her mouth!
Poor thing, I also watched Nicola perform her debut single Beat My Drum on Paul O’Grady Live the other day and thought she did a really good job. Her dance moves were a little stiff, but far better than Cheryl and Nadine’s efforts, I’m being quite serious too. I mean, Gwen Stefani she isn’t (though she tried), but those teeth upstaged her performance…her mouth currently resembles the character ‘Bingo’ from the 70′s TV show The Banana Splits.
According to a report in NOW magazine a few months back, Nicola, who successfully launched her own cosmetics line underwent a dramatic £100,000 makeover after Girls Aloud started raking in the dough, and for a while the redhead scouser was looking somewhat sexy.
But maybe she went a little too far with that [reported] £13,000 grand smile!
Will somebody please tell Miss Roberts those big teeth have to go!
Something Kinda Ewww! Nadine Coyle Makes Another Desperate Comeback…

When it was reported last year that ex-Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle had only sold 117 copies of her much-hyped debut solo single, I have to say I was pretty gobsmacked.
It makes it all too clear just how fickle the pop industry really is… I often wonder if Cheryl Cole hadn’t had music mogul Simon Cowell backing her would she have faired so well with her mediocre efforts and lacklustre stage performances.
Not one to be discouraged, Belfast-born beauty Coyle is back… er, with a new image and a live show performed in what can only be described as ‘cramped surroundings’ according to my spies in the audience.
That was the scene at New York’s Splash Club where the singer gave onlookers a ‘thigh-full’, dressed in a pair of black patent leather boots, a pair of knickers, a purple corset and a tiara, with a face ‘caked’ in make-up to promote her debut solo album Insatiable and latest single Sweetest High.
Except (I’m told) her show gave anything but the sweetest high…
There’s no doubt that Miss Coyle can still belt out a tune, she has a great voice, but that teased afro-hair has to go!
What on earth was she thinking… Let’s play popstar dress-up?
The singer told press at the club: “It’s a challenge! You’ve got to come, you’ve got to work hard. I remember the days beginning at 16, 17 years old in Girls Aloud. Nobody knew us, nobody cared. We’d do university shows and people threw beers cans at us. All sorts of crazy things! We had to work really hard to get where we did”
With regards to her plans to make it big in America, she continues, “that’s where I’m at now. That grind. That mentality of, ‘Yeah, let’s do it. Let’s work hard. What can we do? What can we achieve?’ I love that part of it.”
I do love her spirit!
Don’t worry Nadine, on a brighter note; I’m sure Cheryl will equally come under fire when she launches her album in the U.S later this year… Long gone are the sold-out stadiums of the glorious Girls Aloud days… Pop certainly isn’t what it used to be!
Referring to the years she has been performing professionally, Coyle finished by saying that “ten years of all that stuff, it would be a shame to let it pass!” That much I agree with Nadine, I guess you’ve got to give it a go…
My Verdict: Get back together girls, there’s strength in numbers!

Nicole: 1 Cheryl: Nil… But Those Colors Look Suspiciously Familiar!

Now, I’ve been quite supportive of Cheryl Cole over the past few weeks. All sorts of rumors have been flying about as to what really happened behind the scenes.
Was it all a big publicity stunt, was Cheryl ever truly offered her job back? Or was someone just trying to save face by cleverly planting stories in the press?
Well, I’d have to say that Cheryl was NEVER offered her old job back, in the UK, OR the U.S and ex-Pussycat Doll - Nicole Scherzinger was always going to be a judge on X Factor.
Friends in my circle were shocked when Cheryl was announced as part of the shows line-up, we were convinced she was never going to be sitting on that panel of judges… And then mysteriously she was, and then mysteriously she wasn’t…
This is a real ‘X Factor’ X-File… The truth is out there!
The whole saga has been a disaster for all parties concerned from beginning to end. Cheryl’s ‘big hair’ and purple flared trousers worn at the launch of U.S X Factor didn’t do her any favors with the critics either.
At least Scherzinger got it right. However, I can’t help but think that all this drama has been premeditated right from the start… Though I have to be honest, Nicole’s outfit is a whole sexier than Cheryl’s debut, but those colors look surprisingly suspicious. This clearly reeks of a stunt…
