British star Andrew Garfield and U.S actress Emma Stone and are reportedly taking a break from their three-year romance, according to gossips on the worldwide web.
Long distance appears to be the super-villain in this particular saga… Really?
According to a People magazine source the “Amazing Spider-Man” costars are said to be going on honey hiatus while Garfield shoots Martin Scorsese‘s historical drama “Silence” in Taiwan through May, and while the Oscar-nominated actress finishes production on “Aloha” in Los Angeles — at least that’s the story several news outlets on this week. Oo-er!
“Emma understands his work anxieties — it’s why she originally pulled out of ‘Cabaret’ last year and only did it this year — but they’re taking a break from seeing each other,” an unnamed source said. “They’re both a slave to their schedules. This time last year they were privately discussing marriage.”
More anonymous sources supposedly confirmed the breakup news to Us Weekly and Gossip Cop gave the rumor an eight out of 10 rating on the truth scale. One tipster said, “He’s thrown himself in the project to the detriment of all else, but it’s too early to say the relationship is over.”
Despite being in relationship limbo, there is still reason to believe that the duo will work things out once they are in the same place again.
“It’s one of those situations where only Andrew and Emma quite know if they’ll pick up where they left off or they’ve separated. They are just separated for work,” another source added.
“Andrew is overseas. They are both busy with their careers and have not seen each other.”
The couple ignited rumors of a split after Stone, who was nominated for an Oscar for her role in Birdman, appeared at numerous awards shows earlier this year sans Garfield.
Still, there is hope for the “Amazing Spider-Man” costars to reconcile once Garfield finishes filming in May.
“It’s one of those situations where only Andrew and Emma quite know if they’ll pick up where they left off or they’ve separated,” the source says.”
Another insider confirms that the split is temporary and not an official breakup.
Aww… Let’s hope so!

They’re back at it again. British star Andrew Garfield and his girlf’ Emma Stone, covered their faces from paparazzi Tuesday in New York City – but for a good cause. The Amazing Spider-Man 2‘s real-life couple held small, handwritten notes while walking, telling photographers outside of their Manhattan lunch spot to divert their attention to charity websites, and away from them.
Stone’s sign read: “Good morning! We were eating and saw a group of guys with cameras outside. And so we thought, let’s try this again. We don’t need the attention, but these wonderful organizations do —>”
Garfield’s sign read: “www.youthmentoring.org, www.autismspeaks.org, (and don’t forget) www.wwo.org,www.gildasclubnyc.org. Here’s to the stuff that matters. Have a great day!”
How very American of him!
Back in September 2012, the couple realized they were being photographed and quickly scribbled down messages advocating for Gilda’s Club, which supports those living with cancer, and Worldwide Orphans Foundation, which provides healthcare and education to orphaned children.
But whether or not you agree with the cute couple’s choice of charities, you’ve got to appreciate that Stone and Garfield have figured out how to make the paparazzi work for them.

Andrew Garfield was spotted in the Studio City area earlier this week, pushing a cart full of art supplies, after a shopping spree at Staples in the scorching Valley heat.
Wearing a cool black t-shirt with “Jake the Snake” on it, faded jeans, and brown boat shoes, The Amazing Spider Man star loaded his project supplies, including large black poster-board, into his Audi A7.
But fear not Spidey Fan’s, Garfield isn’t quitting showbiz to become an artist, just yet.
The 28-year-old British actor recently said he is definitely sticking with acting. He said: “For better or worse, and whether people like it or not, I feel like I’m in the right job.
“It’s such a double edged sword because I’m so lucky to be doing things that I love and care about, and acting for a living is a f**king hard thing to achieve – I don’t take it lightly.”
He also spoke about the role happiness plays in his life, “That question about happiness is the most important one of all. Because I do understand now that there is no such thing as ‘top of the mountain.
“Beyond these mountains are more mountains. It is just what it is. It will never fill you up: chasing success, chasing achievement,” he added.
After his debut as Spider-Man raked in around $690m at the box-office, and seeing recent pics of Andrew and his honey and co-star, actress Emma Stone on a flirty dinner date at West Hollywood’s Sushi Park, I reckon this is one guy who has found the meaning of happiness. I mean seriously, what’s there to be miserable about?
I say, good luck to him!

I wonder when British actor Andrew Garfield first dressed up as the famous webslinging Spider-Man he knew he would playing the superhero in a big Hollywood blockbuster movie?
Um, probably not, since he was only TWO-years-old at the time!
The 28-year-old star unveiled this cute snap of himself suited-up as the webslinging Spidey on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, telling Leno that the outfit was the creation of his dear mother Lynn, and the envy of every kid on the block at Halloween.
At time it was taken, back in 1985, the family were living in Los Angeles, they then moved to London shortly after.
Garfield stars as The Amazing Spider-Man alongside his off-screen girlfriend Emma Stone, 23, who plays love interest Gwen Stacy.
I bet this pic is already all over the, um… web!

British actor Andrew Garfield has revealed he almost suffocated while wearing his Spider-Man mask.
While shooting scenes from The Amazing Spider-Man with co-star Rhys Ifans who play’s Dr. Curt Connors, AKA The Lizard in a sewer, the 28-year-old star managed to get water on his spandex face cover, which prevented him from breathing.
He said: “I had to get wet, and I just kind of dove in and didn’t realize that water on the mask made it impossible to breathe.
“So I was kind of, like, suffocating. I couldn’t get any oxygen! I water-boarded myself.”
Oo-er, scary stuff…
The actor also confessed that playing his dream-role as the web-slinging Spidey has left him rather underwhelmed.
He said: “This role was something I’d always wanted. Then you realize it’s like any other acting job.
To achieve what you set out to and then realize it’s not what you want, it’s disappointing.”
I, for one cannot wait for the film’s release, later this week!

Sexy actress Anna Friel hit the red carpet in London yesterday for the UK premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man, showing support for her boyfriend, Rhys Ifans (inset pic) who plays Dr Curt Connors, AKA the Lizard in the film.
Looking pretty in purple at London’s Odeon Leicester Square, 35-year-old Anna stole the limelight in a stunning satin frock with two thigh-high splits at the front revealing a fantastic pair of toned and tanned legs!
Friel even managed to upstage the movie’s lead actress Emma Stone, as she mimicked Angelina Jolie’s famed leggy Oscar pose.
The ex-soap star completed the look with a leopard-print belt and a matching towering pair of wedges – along with sensible light make-up topped off with a chic 1920’s-style waved bob.
Friel and Ifans met in 2011 on the set of the mini-series Neverland, the couple started dating in April last year after her split from long-term partner David Thewlis was announced in 2010.
“The Amazing Spider-Man” is released across the U.S on July 3.

Who said the “traditional” Hollywood romance between two co-stars was dead and buried?
British actor Andrew Garfield and his Spider-Man co-star, Emma Stone, are living proof that it still exists.
Tinseltown’s newest hot young couple has not attempted to hide their relationship, which started while the pair was filming this summer’s big blockbuster movie, The Amazing Spider-Man.
But in a recent interview with MTV, Garfield gave us an insight into the exact moment he thought Stone was the girl for him.
Was it really a case of love at first screentest? It certainly seems that way, according to Garfield: “We got on really well as people, in between takes. That was the fun stuff.”
“In between, we’d just mess around, and I felt, “Ah, this is different.” I wasn’t really aware what was happening in the screentest.”
The 28-year-old actor also said that having 23-year-old Emma on set helped him relate more to his character, the mild-mannered Peter Parker. As his character finds love in the shape of Stone’s character, Gwen Stacy. “She keeps you on your toes, and that wakes you up.”
Garfield also remarked that his relationship with Stone also made him look forward to the romantic scenes together, “Those are the days I’d look forward to, you know? For Peter as well, because Peter goes through some horrible stuff in the movie.”
The two young lovebirds are currently touring the globe promoting the upcoming summer smash, so I’m sure with all their future interviews we’ll get even more insightful information about this couple’s love life!
