These hilarious pics are the work of visual wiz Robert Paulson who’s given eighteen stars, including Lily Allen, Susan Boyle and Gordon Ramsay, an Avatar makeover.

And I don’t know about you, but I think Amy Winehouse looks pretty good as a Na’vi – the blue skin is a big improvement on the sallow complexion and scabby skin she was sporting at the height of her ‘troubles’ anyway!

Robert, 22, is a student in San Francisco who started the project after seeing the sci-fi smash, and each picture takes around two hours to complete.

He said: “I can never get the look of the yellow eyes, with their hypnotic irises and pupils and the Na’vi’s glowing dots to my satisfaction – yet. I must have spent over 200 hours on this project so far. But jokes aside, it has given me a huge appreciation of the skill and detail and genius of James Cameron and his team on a technical level.”

Robert says he’s just finished college and is now looking for a job. Maybe Jim can find him a spot on Avatar 2. You never know Robert… You never know!

Winehouse’s Papa Sets His Sights on Tinseltown, Sinatra Style!

Amy Winehouse’s dad is following in his daughter’s footsteps and carving out his own singing career. Yes, the cabby-turned-crooner is set to release an album early next year!

The 58-year-old hopes to catch the eye of Hollywood’s bigwigs with his collection of Rat-Pack influenced, jazz-swing recordings around March 2010.

A close friend of Mitch revealed that he has been singing all his life and is ready to show the world that he’s just as talented as his superstar daughter, Amy. The friend said, “Mitch is a massive Sinatra fan and would love to perform in Hollywood. That is his biggest dream!”

Mitch plans to fly to LA in late January for a series of meetings with agents and hopes he can land himself a record deal in Hollywood. He recently said: “This is a dream come true and, musically it’s a great album.”

Let’s hope so. With Amy rumoured to be back with ex-husband and ‘reformed’ junkie Blake Fielder-Civil, at least one of the Winehouse family is concentrating on their music!
