Cheryl Cole Bounces Back In-Style!

In December’s issue of InStyle magazine (UK) singer Cheryl Cole reveals how she was ordered by Doctors to put on weight after a health scare that almost killed her…
The ex-Girls Aloud star who caught malaria in June last year while on holiday with dancer Derek Hough, claims she was given just 24 hours to live and had no choice but to obey them to beat the illness. “I had to take good care of myself and I was told to stop exercising and to gain weight to get well. I just ate everything,” she said.
Now, Cheryl insists on keeping a low profile, while dividing her time between Los Angeles and the UK working on her music.
Currently single after a short reconciliation with ex-hubby, footballer Ashley Cole the former X Factor judge said, “It’s now less about work, work, work and more about making time to chill and be with my friends and family.”
She recently filmed a cameo role in the film What To Expect When You’re Expecting with Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez and has other movie roles in the pipeline. Although, she was quick to quash rumors that she is taking a judging role on the next season of Britain’s Got Talent after Amanda Holden admitted she would love to work with Chezza.
However, in the revealing interview, Cole states that she turned down the job a few years ago, before she even landed her X Factor seat. Saying that, “Simon had previously asked me to do Britain’s Got Talent and I’d kind of said ‘‘yes’’, then said ‘‘no’’ at the last minute and dropped them in it.”
Surprisingly, Chez also credits the late singer Amy Winehouse for introducing her to her favorite tipple. “I like a drink if it’s a night out,” she added. “Amy Winehouse once got me on to Jack Daniel’s and lemonade, which sounds strange but it’s really refreshing.”
Aww… Well, I think it’s refreshing to see Cheryl bouncing back and looking all gorgeous again after a whole year of misery, and mishaps… Good on ya’ girl!

Goodbye Amy Winehouse… R.I.P 1983-2011

Fans lined the streets outside the cemetery today as the body of Amy Winehouse was taken to a crematorium in Golders Green, North London.
Her parents Mitch and Janis planned a private ceremony as Jewish tradition dictates the funeral should take place as soon as possible, it came just days after her untimely death at her home in Camden last Saturday.
Mitch paid an emotional tribute to his daughter as her friends and family exchanged stories of her childhood and how happy she had been recently. Ending his eulogy with the words: “Goodnight, my angel, sleep tight. Mummy and Daddy love you ever so much.”
Among those paying their respects to the tragic star was her goddaughter Dionne Bromfield, close friends Mark Ronson, singer Bryan Adams, and Kelly Osbourne, along with her music ‘family’ including her backing singers and manager. Osbourne sported a signature “Beehive” hairstyle (pictured) her close pal was so famous for.
A spokesman for the family said: “Mitch told some great stories from childhood about how headstrong she was, and clearly the family and friends recognized the stories and laughed along.
“He stressed so many times she was happier now than she had ever been and he spoke about her boyfriend and paid tribute to a lot of people in her life.”
The service finished with the congregation singing her favorite song, Carole King’s hit So Far Away.
According to Amy’s wishes, she has been cremated. Her ashes are to be mixed with those of her beloved grandmother Cynthia, who died of lung cancer in 2006.
Though still no official cause of death has yet been determined, there is much speculation that booze and pills were responsible for Amy’s downfall.

Mitch and Janis Share an Intimate Kiss As They Remember ‘Their’ Amy

The grief-stricken parents of the late Amy Winehouse visited the scene of their soul singer daughter’s death earlier today.
Fans cheered in support as Mitch leaned across to kiss Amy’s mother Janis in front of hoards of fans that also showed up to pay tribute. One fan said: “It was a ‘heartbreaking moment.”
The mood on the streets of Camden, London was somber as Amy’s army gathered to remember her. Pictures, flowers and even bottles of VODKA lined the pavement outside her home, resembling a shrine for the tragic star who died on Saturday.
Another fans added: “It was so touching when we all saw Mitch lean over to kiss Janis, everyone cheered, I’m sure she [Amy] would be smiling down at them from heaven after seeing that, it would have made her very happy.”
Mitch Winehouse fought back the tears as he thanked Amy’s loyal followers, saying: ”You people in the street, I can’t tell you how much this means to us — it really is making this a lot easier for us.
Amy was about one thing and that was love, her whole life was devoted to her family and her friends and to you guys as well.
We’re devastated and I’m speechless but thanks for coming.”
According to today’s Sun newspaper, the troubled songstress died alone in her bed and could have been dead for up to SIX HOURS.
It was her security guard Andrew Morris who discovered the body, alerting the emergency services after realizing the star wasn’t breathing
Friend and rep for Winehouse, Chris Goodman explained, “She was in her bedroom after saying she wanted to sleep and when he [Andrew Morris] went to wake her he found she wasn’t breathing.”
At this stage there is still no official word on how the Back to Black singer died, a post-mortem examination held today was unable to establish a cause, but reports suggest it was a cocktail of hard drinking sessions and pills that eventually lead to Amy’s untimely death.
Mitch Winehouse ‘Completely Devastated’ Over Daughter Amy’s Death

Mitch Winehouse had always lived in fear that one day the phone would ring with the news that his daughter Amy was dead from a drug a drug overdose, yesterday his recurring nightmare became a reality.
The ex-cabbie and budding jazz singer was in New York at the time performing a gig when he was told that Amy was gone.
His immediate response was, “This isn’t real. I’m completely devastated,”
Telling friends, “I’m getting the next plane back. I’m coming home. I have to be with Amy.
“I can’t crack up for her sake. My family needs me. I’m devastated, it’s such a shock.”
Reports suggest that Amy was ‘beyond help’ on Saturday afternoon after her bodyguard found her and alerted the emergency services.
The tragic 27 year-old was pronounced dead shortly after 4pm (UK time).
The star’s mother Janis had met up with Amy just 24 hours before her passing and believed her death was “only a matter of time.”
Janis told the Sunday Mirror, “She seemed out of it. But her passing so suddenly still hasn’t hit me, I’m glad I saw her when I did.”
Friends say Amy seemed back on form at her final public appearance last Wednesday night at Camden’s Roundhouse, where the singer performed with goddaughter 15 year-old Dionne Bromfield.
Scotland Yard is currently describing Amy Winehouse’s death as “unexplained.”
Police issued a statement today regarding the singer’s death, saying, “At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained and there have been no arrests in connection with the incident.”
An autopsy will take place on Monday.
Amy Winehouse’s Tragic Death Sees ‘Back to Black’ Sales Soar Again

The tragic death of soul singer Amy Winehouse on Saturday afternoon has seen her second album Back To Black re-enter the iTunes album chart in 4 territories including the UK, U.S, France and Germany so far.
Sales of Winehouse’s songs had increased by 37 times as fans rushed to download her award winning albums.
According to data from the Official Charts Company, track sales were up 23 times. The recored re-entering the charts almost five years after its release made it to number 59 in the few hours after the singer’s death, it also occupied third spot, with a package comprising “Back to Black” and her 2003 debut “Frank,” while a “Deluxe Edition” of “Back to Black” was at number four.
Official Charts managing director Martin Talbot said: “We would expect an even bigger impact to roll through over the coming days,”
Throughout her career, the British songstress, who was on the Universal Music label, had earned numerous awards including five Grammys, but the success paid a heavy price and Winehouse often found it hard to cope with fame.
She gained public notoriety for substance abuse as the breakthrough smash hit topped the charts when it was released in 2007.

Winehouse Update: Singer’s Body Removed From North London Home

This was the scene earlier today when Paramedics removed the body of Amy Winehouse after she was tragically found dead at her North London home.
Superintendent Raj Kohli said it would be “inappropriate” to discuss what killed the singer before a post-mortem examination has taken place.
Speaking near the singer’s home in Camden, he said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service to a house in Camden Square NW1 shortly before 16.05 today to reports of a woman found deceased.”
A post-mortem examination is scheduled for Monday morning.
Singer Amy Winehouse Found Dead at Her Home in North London … R.I.P

Troubled pop star Amy Winehouse has been found dead at her home in Camden, North London, police have confirmed.
The Rehab singer was discovered at around 4PM today (UK time). “On arrival, officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene,” a police statement said.
Nick Buckley of the Sunday Mirror tweeted: “A suspected drug overdose took the life of the singer.”
However, it is not yet known how she died, inquiries are continuing into the circumstances. Sources say that police were said to be treating Winehouse’s tragic death as ‘unexplained’.
The singer’s father Mitch Winehouse declined to comment on rumours of Amy’s death, but is flying back to London from New York now.
Winehouse had battled with drug addiction for years, having most recently checked back into rehab in May.
Other famous singers who died at the same age of 27 include Jim Morrison and Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain, Rolling Stones star Brian Jones, and US rock legend Janis Joplin who Amy was often compared to. All died tragically all the same age of 27 and all coincidentally had drink and
UPDATE: In a press conference in London earlier this evening a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said that no cause of death had yet been confirmed, though close sources are saying that Amy died of a suspected overdose.
Amy and Reg Split!

Poor old Amy Winehouse can’t seem to hold on to the happy times that presents her, I hear the controversial singer has finally split with film director boyfriend Reg Traviss after just four months together.
The couple separated after Traviss was spotted holding hands with his ex-girlfriend Raven Isis at a strip club in London.
A source close to Amy’s told The Sun’s Bizarre column: “Amy hasn’t spoken to Reg since and she’s told everyone that it’s over. She’s pretty cut up about it, she was serious about him. Amy is confused and vulnerable.”
I always thought if this relationship had worked out, Reg would have been a major positive force in Wino’s life. Hopefully she won’t fall back on the wrong side of the druggie tracks, however, my alarm bells went off after hearing she was planning to have fellow druggie rocker Pete Doherty move in with her, a bad idea if ever I heard one, and a big red flag… Don’t do it Amy!
