Cowell’s Back on Britain’s Got Talent!

Woot-woot! Simon Cowell has officially confirmed that he will be returning for the 2013 series of Britain’s Got Talent… But I knew that ages ago!
Fellow judges Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon will also be back to find a new British variety star along with hosts Ant & Dec.
Cowell said: “I loved doing the show last year, the new panel worked really well and I’m very happy they have all agreed to come back.”
He added: “Last year was a special year for talent and I hope that in 2013, off the back of an amazing year for Britain, we find another global star.”
The announcement has sparked rumors that Cowell will also return to the judging panel of the British version of flagging talent show The X Factor next year after viewing figures this year hit an all-time low.
Cowell left the show in 2011 to sit on the judging panel of Fox’s version of X Factor U.S.
I bet fans are thrilled!
Cheryl Cole Bounces Back In-Style!

In December’s issue of InStyle magazine (UK) singer Cheryl Cole reveals how she was ordered by Doctors to put on weight after a health scare that almost killed her…
The ex-Girls Aloud star who caught malaria in June last year while on holiday with dancer Derek Hough, claims she was given just 24 hours to live and had no choice but to obey them to beat the illness. “I had to take good care of myself and I was told to stop exercising and to gain weight to get well. I just ate everything,” she said.
Now, Cheryl insists on keeping a low profile, while dividing her time between Los Angeles and the UK working on her music.
Currently single after a short reconciliation with ex-hubby, footballer Ashley Cole the former X Factor judge said, “It’s now less about work, work, work and more about making time to chill and be with my friends and family.”
She recently filmed a cameo role in the film What To Expect When You’re Expecting with Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez and has other movie roles in the pipeline. Although, she was quick to quash rumors that she is taking a judging role on the next season of Britain’s Got Talent after Amanda Holden admitted she would love to work with Chezza.
However, in the revealing interview, Cole states that she turned down the job a few years ago, before she even landed her X Factor seat. Saying that, “Simon had previously asked me to do Britain’s Got Talent and I’d kind of said ‘‘yes’’, then said ‘‘no’’ at the last minute and dropped them in it.”
Surprisingly, Chez also credits the late singer Amy Winehouse for introducing her to her favorite tipple. “I like a drink if it’s a night out,” she added. “Amy Winehouse once got me on to Jack Daniel’s and lemonade, which sounds strange but it’s really refreshing.”
Aww… Well, I think it’s refreshing to see Cheryl bouncing back and looking all gorgeous again after a whole year of misery, and mishaps… Good on ya’ girl!

Simon Cowell – A Smoothie Who Loves an Anti-Aging Smoothie!

Prepare yourself, as I am about to reveal the secret of eternal youth. Forget facelifts and expensive Retinol creams, the key to looking young these days, well according to ol’ ‘berry-tits’ himself, Simon Cowell, is… (Drum roll please)… Er, a smoothie!
The ‘smooth’ operating music mogul is hooked on an anti-aging smoothie he discovered while touring the U.S on the American X Factor auditions. The 51-year-old (and I have say, the old-codger is looking rather well) drinks the ‘super-smoothie’ every day religiously and is convinced it makes him stay young looking.
Um, so it has nothing at all to do with those Botox injections you admitted to having then, eh Si’??
The fruit drink, developed by top French scientists, includes ingredients such as Lingonberry, Acerola berry, Chokeberry, with a Strawberry or two thrown in for good measure and is packed with a plethora of nutrients.
Now if your thinking, ‘I’m gonna go get me some of this,’ I would have to say I’m pretty sure it’s NOT just the smoothie that is the key to the fountain of youth and certainly not in Simon’s case. Cowell exercises regularly, eats healthy and just happens to be worth around $250 million – that alone would help anyone stay young!
Recently I’m told, Simon kicked his junk food habits and now keeps a plate of chopped raw vegetables to snack on in his dressing room. So as you can see, it’s not just about the smoothie, but clearly its properties can contribute to a healthier body, that’s for sure.
Cowell’s friend and co-star, Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, knows first hand of Simon’s addiction and recently revealed: “He’s into these health smoothies and is always giving away recipes. I actually think this is the healthiest he’s ever looked. He’s lost weight, he’s really fit, his skin looks good and his eyes are shiny. He’s either in love or it’s the herbs.”
Well, there you have it, Mr. ‘Smooth’ Simon’s secrets are finally revealed. I’m sure the creators of the drink are loving the fact that Cowell has endorsed their product. Now the whole world will want to give it a go, including me…where’s my blender!?!?
No British X Factor Next Year!

In an interview at the recent 2010 GQ Men of the Year Awards, Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden revealed insider information about the upcoming season of The X Factor in the UK.
The British celebrity said: “There’s loads of changes afoot next year, I know that there’s no more X Factor – well, at least for next year.”
Holden’s comment adds credibility to the rumour that as producer Simon Cowell prepares to launch the U.S. version of The X Factor, he will push the next round of the UK series forward six months. Such postponement would have the British X Factor starting in March of 2012.
It doesn’t sound like Amanda is very disappointed about the rescheduling… perhaps because it means her show Britain’s Got Talent won’t have to directly compete with The X Factor for attention in the UK. The more attention the better… eh Amanda?
Amanda Cops An Eyeful of Paris’ Cleavage

Paris Hilton‘s look was sort of familiar at her fragrance launch last night, but her Monroe getup wasn’t half as eye-catching as her cleavage!
Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, who was there with fellow judge Piers Morgan, couldn’t resist having a right old look.
Before the event my pal Paris tweeted: ‘At home getting ready for my Tease fragrance launch event. Getting dressed up as my Idol and Favorite Icon Marilyn. Loves it!’
And she certainly went the whole hog in a white dress, platinum curled hair, diamonds and a fur shrug.
Tease is Paris’s TENTH fragrance – that’s a whole lot of people that want eau de Hilton!
Britain’s Got Talent (and America’s Got Talent) Judge Piers Morgan Got Married!

British telly presenter, Piers Morgan, has gotten hitched to girlfriend and Brit journalist/author Celia Walden. Rumor has it that the couple tied the knot at a hush hush affair in the Oxfordshire village of Swinbrook, which was followed by a reception at a nearby pub. Apparently there weren’t any celebrities in attendance – so no, Ant & Dec did not officiate the ceremony.
Even Morgan’s fellow Brit judges, Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden, were absent from the event, but Holden did tweet: “Piers got married today. I could not be happier for my lovely friend.” As for Si, he probably doesn’t want to give Mezhgan any ideas just yet anyway.
This is Morgan’s second marriage, as he has three sons by his previous wife (Marion Shalloe) and is Walden’s first attempt at wedded bliss.
Cheers to the happy couple! I reckon it’s fair to say Walden’s got talent… or at least Piers thinks so anyway!
Elton’s Oscar Bash Raises Tons of Cash!

How quickly Oscars came around this year. It seemed I’d only just taken off my tuxedo in 2009, then BAM! It was back on again in 2010 for the best party in town – Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Party held at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.
This year the event raised a staggering $3.9 Million for the fight against HIV and AIDS.
Presented by Chopard, Jo and Raffy Manoukian and Neuro Drinks, the EJAF Viewing Party continues to be the leading fundraiser on Oscar night in Hollywood.
The couple’s bash has become a staple for all those without an invite to the ceremony itself and this year’s guest list read like a ‘who’s who’ to the entertainment world’s biggest names, and one of the best parties thrown by the EJAF so far (still no goodie bag however, but you can’t have everything I suppose, eh David!)
I arrived with my trademark date, the stunning diamond beauty, Zeta Graff, and the evening began with a cocktail reception, dinner and viewing of the 82nd Annual Academy Awards, followed by a very exciting live auction and a high voltage performance by the iconic Grace Jones.
“I’m so blown away this year, it’s fantastic,” Elton said. “It’s our stable fundraiser for the whole year, this is by far the most important, it gets us the most publicity and it raises the most money.
“It’s hard work because you have to walk around shaking hands with everyone but when we go home and it’s all finished we’ve met people and we’ve seen great entertainment close up.”
Drawing out quite a few of our favorite celebrities, Victoria Beckham and Heidi Klum were spotted looking as elegant as ever – even Victoria (who I often label Vic-bore-ria) was far from boring when she grabbed me and gave a big hug as she exited the ladies loos, “Sean!” she yelled… “How are you? I’m a bit drunk so no photos!” OK, so Posh is back in my good books!
Not far behind the beautiful models were “Glee” co-stars Lea Michele and Cory Monteith, followed by a brunette Hayden Panettiere.
Representing the Brits this year were the likes of recently engaged Simon Cowell who was glued to his foxy fiancé Mezhgan Hussainy all night, Mel B, fashion designer Julia Clancey, Amanda Holden, Michelle Collins, Katie Price, and Sharon and Kelly Osbourne who stopped to have her picture taken with me. Kelly was one of my favorites of the evening to be honest, beaming from cheek to cheek. She told me that she was feeling on top of the world, and who could blame her, you only have to look at the transformation she has undergone – quite unbelievable.
Nicole Richie made her way into the swanky party along with Kimora Lee, Christina Hendricks, Michelle Rodriguez and the very lovely Jennifer Hudson who also stopped to chat to me, Jennifer told me she happy when she heard Simon [Cowell] was engaged: “I am so happy he is finally settling down,” she told me.
Miley Cyrus also hit the party with Liam Hemsworth. Cyrus finally confirmed what we already knew, that Liam was her official boyfriend, and Miley told the press at the event, “I think we’re both deeper than normal people—what they think and how they feel. He’s very grateful for what he has, but he doesn’t let it go to his head. I’m like that too.” How sweet!
It was a long day! Fabulous food, lots of chocolates and wall-to-wall celebs… I could have stayed all night and kipped (slang word for slept) in the corner till morning, but thankfully sometime just after midnight I was rescued by dear friends, British actor Craig Young and Michael Di Girolamo who dragged me into their chauffeured limo!
What fun was had, my gorgeous ‘Graff’ date, my photo with Elton, Kelly Osborne’s super-slim waist, Posh and Price all smiles, Godiva chocolates, and nearly $4 mil’ raised for charity… Ah, now I can rest my weary head, it was a night well worth it, roll-on next year!
