Woo-hoo! Great news for Dexter fans, British actor Jonny Lee Miller is joining the cast of Showtime’s hit serial killer series next season.

We are not quite sure yet what Jonny’s character will be, but we have been informed it’s a six-episode guest stint playing “a mysterious man who ends up tangled in a storyline with Julia Stiles.” Stiles, another favorite of mine, signed on for ten episodes to play “a mysterious young woman who forms a unique relationship with Dexter.”

Dexter stars Michael C. Hall as a “complicated and conflicted blood-spatter expert for the Miami police department who moonlights as a serial killer.”

This will be Miller’s first return to American television since playing the title role in ABC’s short-lived legal dramedy Eli Stone that ended in 2009.

Personally, I still can’t believe the “Trinity Killer” played by John Lithgow in the last season did away with Dexter’s wife Rita, even though her character really annoyed me at times, I’m hoping her death was just one of Dexter’s bad dreams…

Peaches Geldof has been joined at the lip to boyfriend Eli Roth recently but it seems even he has to work sometimes.

Meanwhile Peaches was left alone to soak up the sun by a pool in LA yesterday and work on her tan.

But she did look a wee bit pensive in the pics – maybe she was just killing time until Eli came to pick her up.

Peaches’ ‘careers’ as a DJ/writer/actress/model have stalled of late due to her being embroiled in tabloid scandal after scandal. Maybe just the thing she needs is some time alone to reflect on her next move!

British telly presenter, Piers Morgan, has gotten hitched to girlfriend and Brit journalist/author Celia Walden. Rumor has it that the couple tied the knot at a hush hush affair in the Oxfordshire village of Swinbrook, which was followed by a reception at a nearby pub. Apparently there weren’t any celebrities in attendance – so no, Ant & Dec did not officiate the ceremony.

Even Morgan’s fellow Brit judges, Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden, were absent from the event, but Holden did tweet: “Piers got married today. I could not be happier for my lovely friend.” As for Si, he probably doesn’t want to give Mezhgan any ideas just yet anyway.

This is Morgan’s second marriage, as he has three sons by his previous wife (Marion Shalloe) and is Walden’s first attempt at wedded bliss.

Cheers to the happy couple! I reckon it’s fair to say Walden’s got talent… or at least Piers thinks so anyway!

Fame hungry Bai Ling certainly knows how to grab a headline or two, whether it’s dancing the funky chicken for the paparazzi outside of some of Hollywood’s hotspots or, um … snogging Helen Mirren to promote their new movie Love Ranch - Bai (it seems) has no shame hogging the limelight!

Mirren looked slightly uncomfortable as she posed with Ling at the US premiere held at Arclight Theater last night, when Ling attempted to lock lips with her. Poor Mirren even had to close her eyes … probably to avoid the fright of her life!

Love Ranch, directed by Helen’s hubby Taylor Hackford, is the story of a married couple – Grace and Charlie Bontempo, who open the first legal brothel in Nevada.

And there’s no prizes for guessing what Bai plays, er yup … she’s playing one of the “girls” in the house, surprise, surprise!

The movie also stars Joe Pesci, Gina Gershon and Kristen Stewart’s actress pal Scout Taylor-Compton.

Simon Cowell and fiance Mezhgan Hussainy haven’t been seen together for almost a month. And while Simon has been working at the X Factor auditions, going to Ascot and winning BAFTAs, there hasn’t been a sign of Mezhgan.

So we were all starting to think that Simon had changed his mind about finding the one and settling down.

Thankfully, it would seem all is well in the lovebirds’ world (for now at least) as Mezhgan flew to London yesterday to be reunited with the X Factor judge.

But things didn’t quite go to plan … After traveling in luxury to Si’s London home, Mezhgan ha a little trouble getting into the actual house. How embarrassing!

Luckily Simon’s chauffeur was nearby to give her a hand – as well as to carry that fash-tabulous Louis Vuitton luggage in for her!

After splitting with boyfriend Danny Cipriani, Kelly Brook‘s not sitting around and crying into her Hagen Daz.

In fact she looked positively Glee-ful as she watched the footy with my neighbour Matthew Morrison in London today, dressed in a crop top that flashed her toned tum.

The pair arrived together at a pub to watch England beat Slovenia 1-0 in the World Cup, although American Matthew must have been pleased that the USA side went through to the next round too.

And this isn’t Matt and Kel’s first meeting. They were spotted talking to each other at The Wolseley last week.

But Matthew has denied there’s any romance, saying: ‘It is a nightmare. I just feel bad for those other people because I don’t want to drag anyone else into it. I’m friendly with a lot of people and just going to dinner with someone turns into [something else].’

Matthew also appeared on stage with songbird Leona Lewis last week, and coincidentally Leona is also newly single, not to mention that night on the town with Richard Branson’s daughter Holly. It seems like he’s having that effect on the ladies of London!

English actor Dominic Cooper and American actress Amanda Seyfried, who met on the set of their film Mamma Mia!, have officially become a bi-coastal couple. After reportedly taking a break from spending time together in May, “Domanda” was spotted walking hand-in-hand in West Hollywood on Saturday (June 19) and then again in NYC on Monday (June 21.) They must really be racking up the frequent flier miles!

It looks like these two are not only turning up the heat in their relationship this summer, but also in their careers as well. Both actors have three movies coming out in the near future. Cooper will feature in Hello Darkness, The Devil’s Double, and Captain America: The First Avenger; while Seyfried is set to star in Red Riding Hood, Albert Nobbs, and A Woman of No Importance.

Mamma Mia! Domanda is in high demanda!

Actress Lucy Davis moved to Los Angeles on a high after the worldwide success of The Office, and quickly scored parts in critically acclaimed shows like Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and Ugly Betty.

But it is her Welsh husband Owain Yeoman who has ended up ‘cracking’ Hollywood.

While Lucy’s latest ITV series Married, Single, Other has just been cancelled, The Mentalist – in which Owain stars opposite Aussie Simon Baker – has gone from strength to strength.

And with a tanned torso peaking out from his tight white T-shirt, he looked every inch the Hollywood star as the pair did the supermarket run yesterday, while Lucy dressed down in a long-sleeved shirt and baggy trousers.

Lucy has a couple of film roles coming up but even though she’s not in regular work, she doesn’t seem too concerned. Judging by the Aston Martin the couple drove home in, and the lovely hunk of man she drove home with, life’s pretty good!
