JRM Arrives at LAX!

Nice to see my ol’ pal, Jonathan Rhys Meyers with his life clearly back on track.
JRM looked fit arriving at LAX on Thursday with his sexy long-term girlfriend Reena Hammer, dressed enviably fashionable in a stylish grey jacket and ripped jeans; the Irish actor appeared happy and glowing, sporting a healthy sunkist tan.
As he and Reena pushed their trolley full of not-notch designer luggage and Louis Vuitton duffles through the airport, The Tudors star couldn’t resist stopping for a sneaky puff on a cigarette just before his chauffeur driven car arrived…
Well, for someone who’s had his fair share of ups and downs over the past couple of years, including stints in rehab, smoking is one vice of his I won’t criticize…
See you in the gym Jonny boy!
Gordon’s Lying Low in Thailand

No, not THAT Gordon – he’s still beating the campaign trail in England – I’m talking about the OTHER Gordon, Gordon Ramsay.
The celeb chef has been holed up in a hotel in Thailand since he jetted off to film his culinary travel series, Gordon’s Great Escape, because of riots in Bangkok.
Gord will be traveling out to the jungle and islands to taste local delicacies before moving on to Cambodia, Malaysia and Vietnam. But at the moment he’s not going anywhere.
Poor Gordon, sounds like he’s having a kitchen nightmare…
Dreamgirls Director Takes on Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn!
Posted on April 29th, 2010 at 2:10 pm by Justin Ball
Director Bill Condon will direct RPatz, KStew, and the gang in the fourth installment of the wildly popular vampire film series, Breaking Dawn. The news comes despite Summit Entertainment producer Wyck Godfrey stating he wanted New Moon director Chris Weitz to come back to the franchise. In addition to Dreamgirls, Condon directed the 2004 film Kinsey, starring Irish actor Liam Neeson. To date, each Twilight movie has been overseen by a different director.
Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner are all expected to again personify Edward, Bella, and Jacob respectively for the film, though the actors are still in negotiations.
Breaking Dawn is likely to be the final Twilight film as it is based on the series, what isn’t clear is whether the film version of Breaking Dawn will be split into two separate films or not, due to the extensive length of the story.
A release date for Breaking Dawn is yet to be announced, but production is set to begin this year. Meanwhile, the third installment of the saga, Eclipse, will hit theaters this summer on June 30th.
Let’s hope Condon can work his magic and make the best Twilight film of what most Twilight fans consider the worst Twilight book.
Lindsay Just Wants Another Shot (at the big time!)
Posted on April 29th, 2010 at 9:11 am by SBGLA! Staff
My first thought when I saw this pic Lindsay Lohan, was ‘Don’t do it Linds, things aren’t that bad surely?’ but then I realised it’s just another (yawn) attention seeking way for Lindsay to try and stay in the public eye.
It’s part of a photoshoot Lindsay has done for photographer Tyler Shields‘ upcoming book The Dirty Side of Glamour. I wonder what made him think of Li-Lo for that concept…?
Other pics include Lindsay pretending to choke the photographer while holding the gun, but last night her Twitter fans weren’t impressed.
One follower said she shouldn’t be doing ‘soft-core porn’ and Lindsay angrily replied: ‘It’s not soft core porn hunny, it’s called ART.’
Whatever it is, it certainly ain’t a movie. When’s the last time Lindsay did one of those?
She claims she wants to work and last night the former actress was doing her best to make sure casting directors know she’s clean, sober and ready to do just that. She was pictured on a night out at Chateau Marmont. Oh Lindsay, Lindsay, Lindsay…
Another Golden Opportunity for Gervais
Posted on April 29th, 2010 at 7:31 am by Sean Borg
Here’s one Brit’ that made it in Hollywood without the help of Simon Cowell – Ricky Gervais…
And it’s just been announced that Gervais has signed on to host the 2011 Golden Globe Awards!
The British funnyman, who hosted the 2010 ceremony, brought in good ratings to NBC earlier this year despite mixed reviews for his performance – and this time he has vowed to go all out to upset producers.
The President of the Golden Globes, Philip Berk says he is delighted to see Gervais return. But Ricky joked, “I can’t believe they invited me back after awful things I said.” Neither can I Ricky, neither can I…
LOVE Affair for Gavin Rossdale?
Posted on April 28th, 2010 at 9:24 am by SBGLA! Staff
Courtney Love has never been one for being discreet so if her new revelations are true I can’t believe she’s kept it quiet for so long!
The controversial rocker claimed on Howard Stern‘s radio show that she had an 8-month affair with Gavin Rossdale – AFTER he got together with Gwen Stefani.
And she also reckons that Gav wasn’t much cop in bed, until Gwen gave him a few lessons in the ahem, love department.
“He got good in bed… something happened,” said Courtney, “Maybe Gwen taught him.”
Stern then asked if they were sleeping together while he was with Stefani and she replied: “Yes. She does know.”
Then as if to clarify he asked again (anyone get the impression Howard wouldn’t mess around if he had Gwen waiting at home?): “He was having sex with you while he was with her?”
Love responded: “Everyone… yeah… and a few other people. We didn’t have a lot of pressure on each other, but we did like each other quite a bit.”
Hold on – AND a few other people? Don’t say there’s another Tiger Woods type parade on the way! Hold onto to your wedding ring Gav, it could be a bumpy ride!
Is Mulligan The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo?!
Posted on April 27th, 2010 at 7:50 pm by Sean Borg
So, I make no secret of being a massive fan of actress Carey Mulligan, who came to my attention after I watched her playing the unforgettable character – Sally Sparrow in BBC’s Doctor Who.
Now, according to reports, Carey has won the approval of director David Fincher, and the family of the late acclaimed writer, Stieg Larsson, landing the lead role in the movie adaptation of the critically acclaimed novel The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, beating numerous big name actresses to the part, including Twilight’s Kristen Stewart.
My insiders tell me that Oscar-nominated Mulligan, and KStew were down to the final two being considered for the part of bisexual computer hacker, Lisbeth Salander. But it appears Tinseltown’s casting directors have made right choice (for once) and apparently are keen on giving Carey the coveted role.
Yippee! ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ was a sensational book, and I can just see Carey Mulligan playing the lead… Ooh, I’m tingling at the thought already…
However, Sally Sparrow (in my opinion) is still a tough act to follow, Carey!
Vinnie Got Hammered… Or Should I say Tamer’ed
Posted on April 27th, 2010 at 10:46 am by Helen Whitaker
The usual excuse is ‘artistic differences’ but actors Vinnie Jones and Tamer Hassan can’t use that one if their new film goes down the pan.
Tamer gave Vinnie a pasting during a fight at Chateau Marmont on Saturday night and now the movie they’re both signed up for, Blood Out,, is looking dicey.
Apparently the pair is refusing to work together, but neither will back out of the film either.
Filming is due to start on Friday so movie execs have been holding crisis talks to try and get them to sort it out.
A source told The Mirror, “Both men are integral to the movie, though, so executives are pulling their hair out, trying to come up with a solution.
“At present, they have rearranged two days of filming, and postponed shooting the opening scenes where Vinnie and Tamer have lines together.
“They are also offering to further separate the pair’s on-set trailers to ensure they are kept at opposite ends of the park.”
Good God lads, get a grip. Maybe we should just organise another fight behind the bike sheds and whoever wins gets to stay in the film, what do you say?
