Mel B… Red-y For London!

My jaw dropped when these pictures of former Spice Girl, Mel B looking stunning came across my desk…
To be quite honest, I had to take a second look just to make sure it really was her… This is one hell of an extreme makeover!
The mother of three who is currently living in Australia, showed off her incredible weight loss sporting a fringed weave, dressed in a bright red backless one-piece jumpsuit, as she prepared to jet back to the UK for a promo trip.
36-year-old Mel had shed 33lbs (15 kilos) in just 20 weeks with her sponsor Jenny Craig back in Oz, after piling on 66llbs (30 kilos) while pregnant with her third daughter Madison, who was born last September.
When she touched down in London, clearly thrilled to be back on British soil, the singer could barely contain her excitement, Tweeting: ‘Didn’t realize how much i actually missed London, its been nearly a year since we were last here!”
Mel and husband Stephen Belafonte were pictured later in the evening leaving trendy KOKO in Camden Town, after a night of dancing.
Shortly after they left the club, Mel Tweeted: “Whoop whoop ma peeps i’m dancing round my friends front room to old school fleetwood Mac, love it!”
I guess staying up all night is one way of keeping the jetlag at bay, I suppose… Good ol’ Scary, still as fun as ever!
Discovery Says “Bye Bye” to Man vs. Wild Host Bear Grylls!

I was disappointed to hear that The Discovery Channel has parted company with my favorite British adventurer, Bear Grylls…
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network fired the 37-year-old host of Man vs. Wild, allegedly over his lack of cooperation on two projects he was contracted to do, this has resulted in Grylls having his agreement terminated.
A rep for Discovery confirmed, “Due to a continuing contractual dispute with Bear Grylls, Discovery has terminated all current productions with him.”
In response to Discovery’s statement, Grylls’ representative Heather Krug said, “Unfortunately, Bear and Discovery have not been able to come to a mutual agreement on new programming, and he disagrees with Discovery’s decision to terminate current productions.”
She added, “Bear has loved the Man vs. Wild journey and looks forward to producing further cutting-edge content again soon for his loyal audience.”
Grylls, a former SAS soldier, has swallowed many unsavory things during his time on Man vs. Wild, including drinking his own pee (eww!), however, I’m guessing accepting The Discovery Channel’s decision is probably one of the hardest things he’s had to swallow to date…

Jude Law and Ruth Wilson… More Than Just Co-Stars!

Its only been a matter of days since the news broke that Jude Law and new girlfriend, Ruth Wilson, were officially dating, and now the two of them have taken their relationship to the ‘next celeb-couple’ step, after being snapped strolling in the California sunshine.
The actors, who met on the production of Anna Christie last year, were spotted in a lip-lock only a month ago at London’s trendy Groucho Club, sparking rumors that the pair was more than just co-stars. And judging from these cozy pics, of the couple taking a relaxing walk along Venice Beach last Sunday, we can safely say the rumors are in fact true!
Wilson, 30, is thought to be Law’s first real serious girlfriend since he split with the gorgeous Sienna Miller… Well, the first that we know of, because lets face it, it is Jude Law we are talking about here!
An onlooker that saw the couple together in London last week said the pair weren’t “worried about who saw them kissing,” and were very much “an item”… and with Jude and Ruth looking so relaxed together here in Los Angeles, maybe this could be the start of something good for the two them.
Only time will tell…
Torchwood’s John Barrowman Cast in ABC Pilot, Gilded Lilys!

John Barrowman is known for playing characters that travel back in time on Doctor Who and more recently, Torchwood.
Now, according to TVGuide.com, the actor will be portraying a man born and raised in the late 1800s.
In a new pilot called Gilded Lilys being developed by ABC and producer Shonda Rhimes, Barrowman will play Julius Lily, the playboy son of the Lily family opening the first grand luxury hotel in New York, New York.
The Scottish–American’s co-stars on the project include Blythe Danner, Matt Lauria, Sarah Bolger and Madeline Zima. The show will reportedly incorporate an epic love story, a vicious rivalry, and a scandalous secret.
I love John’s work, and Gilded Lilys sounds like a project that is totally up my street!
Coming Clean! Radcliffe Encourages OCD Patients to Seek Help…

One would think that the only comparison between actor Daniel Radcliffe and David Beckham would be the fact they are both famous the world over.
Now it appears they have much more in common than meets the eye… Becks and Rads have both opened up about their Obsessive Compulsive Disorders.
Shockingly, OCD affects between 2 to 3 MILLION adults in the United States alone, however it appears that most people diagnosed will not even discuss it for fear others might think they are going crazy. In extreme cases, sufferers often need to wash their hands at least 5 times before leaving the house!
Nevertheless, with the likes of Beckham revealing he has it, this has led people not to be so judgmental of the disorder.
The Harry Potter star, 22 has now followed in the soccer star’s footsteps and er, come clean (ahem) so to speak, about his condition…
He says that he developed OCD at the age of five, admitting it got so bad that he used to take over five minutes just to turn off a light. Oo-er!
The British actor is now encouraging anyone with the affliction to turn to a therapist – because the counseling sessions have helped him keep his problem under control.
He said: “I had to repeat every sentence I said under my breath. I would encourage everyone to undergo therapy. It doesn’t mean you’re insane or weak.”
He added: “I haven’t had it this year so far and I’m missing it.”
Hmm, I bet that’s not the only thing Radcliffe is missing these days… Expecto Patronum!
Sexy Leilani Dowding Bounces Back in April’s Maxim!

Nice to see British reality star Leilani Dowding bouncing back after her devastating break-up with Hollywood hunk Stephen Dwarf (Oops, I meant) Dorff…
Poor ol’ Leilani allegedly had to endure a barrage of abusive text messages from Dwarf Dorff while they were dating earlier this year (what a rotter!)
However, now according to the Daily Mail online, Dowding is back in the arms of her Tough Love Miami hottie George French.
If you ask me, I reckon Mr. Dwarf Dorff will be kicking himself that he lost such a babe when he catches a glimpse of Maxim’s upcoming April edition out soon, in which we get to see Leilani back on form. Wey-hey!
That’ll teach Dwarf Dorff to treat woman with a bit more respect in future…
Since their split, Dowding has remained tight-lipped and dignified over the whole nightmare saga, and it appears there’s no love lost between the tempestuous pair.
My Tinseltown spies inform me that life couldn’t be better for Leilani, her fashion line Leiluna is set to make her an internet millionaire over the next year, with sales going through the roof she can hardly cope with so many orders… Still, at least George is back on the scene, that will help ease her stresses I’m sure!

Gary Oldman Splashes Out $2.9 Million On a New Hollywood Mansion!

Gary Oldman has splashed out on a new house in the Hollywood neighborhood of Los Feliz in Los Angeles.
According to The Real Estalker property, records show the British star recently purchased the new 3,168-foot Colonial property for a cool $2,869,000.
Built in 1922 the house is a two-story Southern Plantation-inspired that sits on half an acre of land and features a massive pool in the backyard.
The main property boasts of three bedrooms and four bathrooms, with an additional bedroom and bathroom above a detached car garage. A spacious living room spans the length of the bottom floor and features a wood-burning fireplace and built-in bookshelves. The room also has a series of French doors on two walls that reach almost to the ceiling.
The house, that any A-list star would die for, has chic dark wood flooring throughout leading to a stylish state of the art kitchen decked out with every gadget one could possibly need, including two stainless steel sinks, and high-grade commercial-style appliances. It has stone tile flooring, cabinets with grey-veined white marble, multi-paned windows. A ‘breakfast room’ comes off the kitchen, opening out on to a blue-stoned terrace.
The master bedroom retains original fixtures and hardware such as glass doorknobs and twin pedestal sinks in the ensuite, which also features a soaking tub with elegant marble surround, white tile floors and a separate shower.
Gary, who was nominated for Best Actor at last Sunday’s Oscars ceremony, following his performance as MI6 agent George Smiley in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, ended up losing out to The Artist’s Jean Dujardin but many actors, including Daniel Radcliffe and Ryan Gosling, have said he is a huge inspiration to them.
Some of Oldman’s new neighbors include Twilight star Robert Pattinson, Emmy-winning actress Kirstie Alley and comedian Jamie Kennedy.
So I guess this means Gary might well be throwing a few star-studded parties at his fantastic new home this summer… Er, if so Gazza, don’t forget to put me the list if you do!
Welsh Babe Katherine Jenkins to Dance with the Stars!

Welsh born beauty Katherine Jenkins has been chosen to compete on the hit U.S TV show Dancing with the Stars, I can reveal.
Her appearance on the show will be part of her plan to crack America with her already incredibly successful singing career.
The famed opera star that recently split from her fiancé Gethin Jones is no stranger to DWTS, she sang live on the show back in February 2011, which went down a storm with American viewers.
Now back by popular demand, Jenkins will put through her paces as she battles for the coveted mirror ball trophy.
She is no stranger to dancing either, Katherine once performed onstage with ballet star Darcey Bussell back in 2009 in the singing-and-dancing Viva La Diva.
Other stars announced to take part include Gladys Knight, former Wimbledon champion Martina Navratilova and Little House on the Prairie actress Melissa Gilbert.
The 31 year-old blonde stunner has sold over 4 million copies of her albums since she released her debut in 2004. Her first album, Premiere, made her the fastest selling mezzo-soprano to date…
