Spidey Stunt Gone Wrong Gives Andrew Garfield a Bloody Nose!

“With great power, comes great responsibilities”…or perhaps that should now read, with great powers (such as swinging through New York City), comes great nosebleeds?!
It seems all the web-slinging fun British actor Andrew Garfield may have been having has finally caught with him, as the after he was spotted on set with tissues stuck up his nose…
It certainly doesn’t fill one with the upmost confidence seeing your friendly neighborhood superhero suffering from a bloody nose…
We can let Garfield off I guess, the 28-year-old has been re-shooting some exciting stunt scenes on the set of the latest Spider-Man film - The Amazing Spider Man, so its only understandable that the guy might pick up and knock or two.
We have seen many great pictures from the set of the film and there are a whole lot of people looking forward to see how Garfield will fare as the masked crusader…
I, for one, am a massive fan and cannot wait to see him playing Spider-Man when the film is released next year.
I reckon it is going to be a massive blockbuster!
British Star Christine Adams Reveals a Few Terra Nova Spoilers!

It doesn’t seem that long ago that British-born babe Christine Adams made the move to the U.S, but it has been about nine years already.
Since then, Adams has found herself constantly traveling the world and racking up a rather impressive resume, not mention the airmiles, as her journey unfolds.
Now Christine finds herself in the tropical surrounds of the Gold Coast hinterland filming Steven Spielberg’s mega dinosaur romp Terra Nova, playing rebel leader Mira, the leader of a group of rebel settlers called the Sixers who gets to flesh out and has more going on than first meets the eye.
She recently said, “You’ll see that she’s a leader in her own small world, but she’s not the leader. She’s not pulling the strings all.”
The actress also teased that we will discover “more about Terra Nova and why it’s there” in the coming weeks. “There’s only a little nugget into Mira’s story. It’s gonna open up another door into her world,” Adams says, concluding with this major tease: “We’re gonna find out who the mole is.
The show has been compared to many things. The series is about a group of humans who travels from the future into the prehistoric past has the same settlers-in-a-colony vibe of Lost.
It has the CGI dinosaurs of Jurassic Park. It has Stephen Lang wearing tank tops and flexing his biceps a lot, just like in Avatar.
It’s a big network drama trying to appeal to a wide audience, she says. If that makes it middle-of-the road at times, so be it.
“Some people don’t like it, and that’s fine,” Adams told The National Post.
“But the people who like it really like it. The thing about a show like Mad Men or Breaking Bad is they don’t have to have the audience that we have to have,” she adds, and she’s right about that.
Terra Nova is trying to win viewers over with fancy effects, a cool setting and a bit of futuristic intrigue.
“You’re trying to tick a lot of boxes,” is how Adams explains it. “I think getting we’re getting there. However, if that means we have to sacrifice some other things to be successful, then I’m OK with that. Let’s not be naive about it.”
Well put Miss Adams… I for one reckon Christine is going all the way in Tinsletown; you can take my word for it!

RPattz’ Crack Gets Hacked!

Twilight star Robert Pattinson is a fit lad, nevertheless the actor cannot bear to watch his half naked body on the big screen, knowing only too well what it’s like to suffer one of the profession’s more embarrassing side effects when filming intimate moments on set.
So I guess Twihards fans in their droves will be disappointed when they hear that Pattinson’s fit butt is cut from the finished film due to a little post-production editing, or perhaps better put, er…blurring!
During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, this week, spoke candidly how his butt had to be blurred during a Breaking Dawn — Part 1 sex scene with co-star Kristen Stewart because, he says, “There was a bit too much butt crack.”
Stewart had previously revealed that the scene, in which newlyweds Bella and Edward consummate their marriage, initially earned Breaking Dawn – Part 1 an R rating.
However, ‘Heartthrob Rob’ then explained, “That was one thing I know they cut out. They didn’t cut the shot or whatever, they just cut the crack out.”
When DeGeneres asked how they did that, Pattinson replied, “They just painted over it.”
DeGeneres then follows up by asking RPattz, “You just look like one solid cheek” with that the actor replied, “You’re allowed to show cheek. You can’t show crack.”
Clearly, Ellen is the butt of this mans joke cracking!
Catherine ‘FashionZeta’ Jones Looks Stunning Back On Set in NY!

Think of Catherine Zeta Jones and one automatically visions a sexbomb brunette with trademark long, dark hair… A look she has fashioned for most of her public life.
Even back in her days as the ‘darling’ of Darling Buds of May, the actress sported the same ‘do, and that was over 20 years ago!
NEVERTHELESS, even though her looks have taken her to the dizzy heights of Hollywood superstardom, it’s never too late for a change it seems.
And if these latest pictures of Catherine are anything to go by, it would appear that the Michael Douglas‘ sultry wife has finally exchanged her famous locks for a trendier, shorter cut that is lighter in color!
The 42-year-old Welsh star showed off the new look while on the set of her new movie, Broken City, which is currently filming in New York.
Looking rather stylish, she stood in between takes wearing a burgundy coat with matching patterned skirt and black heels. Unlike her co-star Mark Wahlberg, however, who was dressed down looking far more casual in jeans, a sweater and raincoat.
Broken City will see Catherine back on our silver screens as the philandering wife of the New York City mayor, played by Russell Crowe… Quiet the cast, I say.
I shall have to keep an eye out for this one!
Streep’s Iron Lady Trailer Receives Mixed Reviews!

Twenty-one years after Margaret Thatcher bowed out of politics in the UK, her life is being portrayed in a Hollywood film starring Oscar winning actress Meryl Streep.
Streep practically gets a nod every time she steps onto the silver screen, though some have been outraged that an American actress is portraying one of Britain’s most well known leaders. However, according to early reviews, the actress has put in a fine performance in The Iron Lady.
The Guardian’s Xan Brooks said earlier this week that Streep’s performance “Is astonishing and all but flawless” — But adds that Streep “is the one great weapon of this often silly and suspect picture.”
Nevertheless, not all had praise, Lord Tim Bell, a former PR adviser to Thatcher, says of the film, “I can’t be bothered to sensationalize this rubbish. I can’t see the point of this film. Its only value is to make some money for Meryl Streep and whoever wrote it. I have no interest in seeing it. I don’t need a film to remind me of my experiences of her. It is a non-event. It won’t make any difference to her place in history of the fact of what she did.”
The movie also stars Jim Broadbent as Denis Thatcher and Richard E. Grant as Michael Heseltine. Earlier this month Streep said she is in “awe” of Thatcher and playing her was the biggest role of her career. “It took a lot out of me, but it was a privilege to play her, it really was,” she said.
The film, directed by Phyllida Lloyd, is told from the point of view of Lady Thatcher living in London several years after the death of her beloved husband Denis. The Thatcher era from 1979 to 1990 was a time of social and economic change for Britain.
I very much look forward to this one!

Cheryl Cole Bounces Back In-Style!

In December’s issue of InStyle magazine (UK) singer Cheryl Cole reveals how she was ordered by Doctors to put on weight after a health scare that almost killed her…
The ex-Girls Aloud star who caught malaria in June last year while on holiday with dancer Derek Hough, claims she was given just 24 hours to live and had no choice but to obey them to beat the illness. “I had to take good care of myself and I was told to stop exercising and to gain weight to get well. I just ate everything,” she said.
Now, Cheryl insists on keeping a low profile, while dividing her time between Los Angeles and the UK working on her music.
Currently single after a short reconciliation with ex-hubby, footballer Ashley Cole the former X Factor judge said, “It’s now less about work, work, work and more about making time to chill and be with my friends and family.”
She recently filmed a cameo role in the film What To Expect When You’re Expecting with Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez and has other movie roles in the pipeline. Although, she was quick to quash rumors that she is taking a judging role on the next season of Britain’s Got Talent after Amanda Holden admitted she would love to work with Chezza.
However, in the revealing interview, Cole states that she turned down the job a few years ago, before she even landed her X Factor seat. Saying that, “Simon had previously asked me to do Britain’s Got Talent and I’d kind of said ‘‘yes’’, then said ‘‘no’’ at the last minute and dropped them in it.”
Surprisingly, Chez also credits the late singer Amy Winehouse for introducing her to her favorite tipple. “I like a drink if it’s a night out,” she added. “Amy Winehouse once got me on to Jack Daniel’s and lemonade, which sounds strange but it’s really refreshing.”
Aww… Well, I think it’s refreshing to see Cheryl bouncing back and looking all gorgeous again after a whole year of misery, and mishaps… Good on ya’ girl!

Victoria Beckham Spotted Flaunting Her New GOLD iPhone!

Victoria Beckham has a new iPhone 4G, oh yes she does…
However, Mrs. Becks hasn’t any old iPhone, Posh has gone one better, and hers just happens to be solid gold… Er, yup, of course it is!
The former Spice Girls singer turned top fashion designer was spotted with her new couture-cell in-hand as she strutted through JFK Airport, earlier this week.
Her customized gold-gizmo is designed by Stuart Hughes and handcrafted intricately using 150 grams of 24-carat gold, the phone is also sporting a rather sexy screensaver of hubby David posing topless too, oo-er…
And just like other creations by Hughes, this one equally reeks of utter decadence. Said to be worth a whopping £21,995 (that’s around $35,000 U.S), this phone is just the sort of gadget one would expect a Beckham to have in their possession.
I guess you could say there is no better way for Victoria to make ‘golden-calls’ to hubby ‘golden balls’… Um, sorry, I had to!
