Happy Bunnies: Katy Perry and Russell Brand’s Egg-cellent Easter Partaay!

Funnyman Russell Brand and his bird, (er, or should say bunny in this particular case,) Katy Perry, threw open the gates to their uber-fashionable Hollywood hills abode yesterday for a fun filled Easter Sunday bash for all their tinseltown chums.

Perry, clearly getting into the spirit of things (the Americans do that so well you know…) sported a pair of bunny ears to mark the ‘egg-travagant’ occasion, whereas Russell… Er, well Russell just looked liked his typical scruffy self as if needing a good bath if you catch my drift (love him still, however!)

And not to disappoint the Brits in attendance, Brand’s stateside ‘partaay’ ended only just a few hours ago, when Katy tweeted: “Goodnight bunnies and babies and pink and lavender and sea foam greens. Goodnight little chickens and glitter spilling out of plastic eggs.”

Nice to know they’re still going strong after so many split stories doing the rounds, and if what I’m hearing is true, the newly engaged couple are currently in the throws of planning their wedding rumored to be taking place at the end of the summer. Egg-cellent news!

Where’s The Beef? Butler’s Now a Posh Mag Living Lad!

What’s happened to the beefy and brawny Gerard Butler we all know and love, eh?

A copy of next month’s Architectural Digest has just landed on my desk with none other than beefcake Buts’ himself, gracing its glorious May cover!

Apparently the hot Scot’s new batch’ pad is boasting ‘thirteen-foot-tall mahogany doors’ and a ‘knocker’ that could summon the dead.’ Oo-er, you’ve got a knocker that wakes the dead, eh Gezza? So I’ve heard matey!

Macca Plays Mammoth Hollywood Bowl Set!

Paul McCartney has always given his gig-goers their money’s worth, and last night’s performance at Hollywood Bowl was no exception. My V,V,V,VIP laminates were envy of all!

The 67-year-old ex-Beatle played for almost three hours as well as keeping the 18,000 fans entertained with stories from the swinging sixties, about John, George and even Jimi Hendrix.

I also saw him at Coachella last year and my voice was completely gone by the end of his set. I was exhausted from singing and dancing whereas Paul – who’s technically an OAP – was still going strong (shame on me!)…

He’s one of our national treasures and welcome any time he comes to LA, LA land – you’re a legend Macca… Or should I say er, dad?! (joke.)

It’s a ‘Pole-Role’ For Former Bionic Babe Michelle!

Former Bionic Woman star Michelle Ryan is finally climbing up the ladder, or should I say ‘pole’ to success in tinseltown.

Busty brunette Michelle, most well known for her role as wayward teen Zoe Slater in the hit BBC1 soap Eastenders, is now set to bare all playing a stripper in her new film  A Girl Walks into a Bar and says it’s “great fun” practicing her moves for the racy role and is currently taking pole dancing lessons in Los Angeles to prepare for it.

She said: “I play a stripper and had to go to a pole-dancing classes.

“I have so much respect for the dancers. It is hard work.”

But the busty telly babe admits she’s not as tough as her ex-screen persona Jamie Sommers and ended up covered in bruises as she attempted some of the more difficult dance routines.

Um, Michelle I’ve have some good advice for you sweetie, maybe you should get on the phone to former ‘wild child’ Emma Ridley at Goddess Fitness Dance, I’m sure Em’s could give you a few tips on how to handle some Hollywood’s more ‘trickier ‘poles in business… Oo-er, no pun intended!

Coyle ‘n’ Cole: The Skinny Minnies!

Is Cheryl Cole competing with her former band-mate Nadine Coyle on who can become the skinniest? Or maybe she’s considering Nadine’s offer to duet and doesn’t want to be outdone… Er, I hope not!

One thing’s for sure however, Cole is certainly keeping schtum about the goings on behind the scenes in her marriage. As Cole left a well-known hotel in Paris wedding ring-less yesterday, onlookers couldn’t help but notice her pale and frail looking body, as she stepped out to do an interview with TV channel Canal Plus+, one of her first public appearances since her split from Ashley.

And according to sources, from what I’m being told there’s a lot more going on under that dignified silence, that seemingly ‘fake’ smile and painfully thin frame.

SuBo’s £4 Mil Birthday Payout – April Fools Day!

What would you do if on April 1st you were told a check for millions was waiting in the mailbox you’d probably think it was an April fools joke, right? Well, not Susan Boyle, the singing sensation formally known as the ‘hairy angel’ is about to receive a whopping £4 million pound in royalties as part of her earnings for a years hard graft.

It doesn’t seem that long ago since she first appeared on Britain’s Got Talent – the series that propelled her to fame, when Subo walked onto the stage and sang her version of I Dreamed A Dream, a performance which stole the nations hearts.

Now on her upcoming 49th birthday she’ll receive an astonishing lottery-style payment after taking the world by storm.

The mega-bucks payout comes from the sales of her chart-topping debut album and countless international appearances, but according to close friends of the star, they say the money won’t change her one bit.

One close source said: “People have thought of Susan as a millionaire for months already because her album was released in November – but she hasn’t got it yet. It takes time for royalties to come through. She has been told it will be there for her birthday on April 1.

“Until now her management team has made sure she never wanted for anything. She has been receiving an allowance from Simon [Cowell], which has been more than enough to live on.

“But this is her long-awaited pay day finally arriving.”

I Dreamed a Dream, broke British chart records, selling 3.1 million copies in its first four weeks of release. It has since sold more than 8.5 million worldwide.

I say Bravo to SuBo; you are no April fool my dear… But you might want to invest in a good pair of tweezers when the money comes in!

Peaches Turns 21… Someone Should Have SPLAT Her!

What would have you done if you were standing in front of Peaches Geldof at the time this pic was being taken? I know what I would have, yup! Creamed Peaches with a cake SPLAT!

Friends of the obnoxious ‘wild thing’ currently dating actor – film director Eli Roth, were responsible for throwing a surprise 21st birthday dinner for her in Hollywood last night.

Twitter addict Peaches, tweeted: ‘Thank you to all my amazing friends here for my birthday surprise at H Wood. I love you all! The Nerds candy covering the tables = awesome!’ she gushed.

She later told guests: ‘There is no place in LA I feel more at home than in Gay Town, aka Weho. I think I may actually be a gay man trapped in a woman’s body.’

Er, don’t insult us darling please. And after being snapped last week kissing hunky Eli, I wonder what he would make of such a statement, eh Peach? However, nothing would surprise me in this town… Sorry Eli!

R Pattz On The Lash In London!

Robert Pattinson caused mass swooning in London last night at the UK premiere of Remember Me and then celebrated the release of his new flick with a few too many jars at The Ivy - good lad Rob!

Hundreds of girls turned out to see the Twilight star in Leicester Square, and after doing a Johnny Depp and signing autographs for well over an hour, Rob introduced the film to an audience of celebs and competition winners before sloping off for a drink. And if these pics are anything to go back, Rob had a big night.

He appeared to need a little bit of assistance in getting in his taxi when he emerged, bleary-eyed, at 1am!

Squinting and with a silly smile on his face, he headed back to his hotel. I’m betting there were no shortage of offers to ‘help’ him back to his room…
