David and Victoria to sell Beckingham Palace!

It looks as though the Beckhams are in Los Angeles to stay!
After five years of living stateside, the golden couple has decided that ‘LA, LA land’ is the only home they need and are putting their famous English residence, Beckingham Palace, up for sale!
Even though the Hertfordshire mansion will always hold treasured and happy memories for them, David and Victoria believe it is just wasteful to hold on to it since they are never there. They have also decided to sell their £2.5 million house in France too for the same reasons.
Posh and Becks bought Beckingham Palace shortly after getting married back in 1999, but after David signed for the Galaxy in 2007, the clan packed up and moved to sunny California and haven’t looked back.
Since signing a 2 year extension on his contract at LA Galaxy earlier this year, David spoke out about how him and his family have made LA their home and how moving anyway would only disrupt his home life as well as his children, who are very happy and settled.
He said: “We have amazing boys and a little girl we have to look after so now our priorities are all about them. “
He added: “My family are the happiest here at the moment. We love living in LA, we love living in America. We’ve adapted to the culture and everything the country has.”
If you are considering putting in an offer for Beckingham Palace, you might like to know that the mansion is believed to be worth around £18 million and I am told that the likes of reality star Kim Kardashian are considering putting in serious offers.
However, if that is a little bit out of your price range but would love a piece of the Beckham lifestyle how about buying one of David’s cars instead?
According to reports, not only are the houses up for sale, but also the couple is selling off five of Becks’ favorite cars. Maybe David’s Bentley takes your fancy, or perhaps his Lamborghini, which is worth a whooping £170,000.

The BBC Unveil Doctor Who’s Sexy New Sidekick!

The BBC announced today that former Emmerdale Farm actress Jenna-Louise Coleman will play Doctor Who’s new assistant when Karen Gillan, who plays Amy Pond, leaves the hit BBC sci-fi drama later this year.
The sexy 25-year-old brunette said: “I’m beyond excited, I can’t wait to get cracking; working alongside Matt, I know is going to be enormous fun and a huge adventure.”
She impressed the show’s boss Steven Moffat with her screen test and chemistry with star Matt Smith, and he promised fans that Coleman was fantastic in auditions, which got her the part.
He said: “We saw a lot of brilliant actresses. But Jenna was the only person going faster than Matt — he had to keep up!
“It always seems impossible when you start casting these parts, but when we saw Matt and Jenna together, we knew we had our girl. She’s funny, clever, and exactly mad enough to step on board the TARDIS.
“It’s not often the Doctor meets someone who can talk even faster than he does, but it’s about to happen.”
Moffat did not reveal the name of Coleman’s character and teased fans that how she meets the Doctor “…are all part of one of the biggest mysteries the Time Lord ever encounters…Even by the Doctor’s standards, this isn’t your usual boy meets girl.”
He also teased that: “Jenna is going to lead him [the Doctor] his merriest dance yet.”
Jenna-Louise will first be seen on screens at Christmas.
Moffat also confirmed that Doctor Who would air six episodes in 2012 and a further eight in 2013 for the show’s 50th anniversary. Ooh, it all sounds very exciting… I cannot wait!
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Goes Biker-Chick-Chic in NYC!

It is always a pleasure to comment on a recent sighting of the gorgeous Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and she hasn’t let us down here. Once again, the supermodel-turned-actress looks simply incredible, dressed in a look that we’d call the ‘tough biker-chic’… casual but very sexy indeed!
The 24-year-old Transformers: Dark of the Moon star was virtually make-up free as she took to the streets of New York donning a red-hot leather jacket, with faded jeans and aviator sunglasses as she wowed the pouncing paps!
Rosie recently admitted that she loves having her photograph taken by the cheeky paparazzos without her being aware. She said her favorite shots are always the ‘the candid ones, those sneaky ones the photographer gets when you are in hair and make-up, or laughing at something.’
Yes Rosie, you can love those too, because no matter what you were doing, you always look amazing!
Russell’s Hunting For a Brand New Condo…

Nice to that Russell Brand is moving on with his life after his divorce from singer Katy Perry, by spending some quality time house hunting, with the most important woman in his life… Er, his mum!
The scruffy British funnyman, 36, flew his mother Barbara to the states so that they could spend Mother’s Day together …ahh, what a lovely son he is.
Brand and his mum then went looking for a new home for the star, in the up market West Hollywood district of Los Angeles.
Flying his mum half way across the world so that she can help with the house hunting, is quite a subdued act from Brand, considering that only last week Russell was arrested for criminal and charged with criminal damage to property due to throwing a paparazzo’s iPhone (inset pic).
Brand claims he was provoked by the pap, which led him to grab and fling photographer Timothy Jackson’s cell phone. Has anyone bothered to ask why the pap was using an iPhone and not a real camera to stalk celebrities with?
In true Russell Brand fashion, he tweeted his reasons for the phone-throwing incident claiming it was merely a tribute to the late Apple CEO, Steve Jobs.
Brand tweeted: “Since Steve Jobs died I cannot bear to see anyone use an iPhone irreverently. What I did was a tribute to his memory.”
However, now it seems he is doing his utmost best to put his legal troubles behind him. Brand had been in the process of becoming a naturalized US citizen through his marriage to Katy but recent events could put his status under consideration.
Mel B… Red-y For London!

My jaw dropped when these pictures of former Spice Girl, Mel B looking stunning came across my desk…
To be quite honest, I had to take a second look just to make sure it really was her… This is one hell of an extreme makeover!
The mother of three who is currently living in Australia, showed off her incredible weight loss sporting a fringed weave, dressed in a bright red backless one-piece jumpsuit, as she prepared to jet back to the UK for a promo trip.
36-year-old Mel had shed 33lbs (15 kilos) in just 20 weeks with her sponsor Jenny Craig back in Oz, after piling on 66llbs (30 kilos) while pregnant with her third daughter Madison, who was born last September.
When she touched down in London, clearly thrilled to be back on British soil, the singer could barely contain her excitement, Tweeting: ‘Didn’t realize how much i actually missed London, its been nearly a year since we were last here!”
Mel and husband Stephen Belafonte were pictured later in the evening leaving trendy KOKO in Camden Town, after a night of dancing.
Shortly after they left the club, Mel Tweeted: “Whoop whoop ma peeps i’m dancing round my friends front room to old school fleetwood Mac, love it!”
I guess staying up all night is one way of keeping the jetlag at bay, I suppose… Good ol’ Scary, still as fun as ever!
Discovery Says “Bye Bye” to Man vs. Wild Host Bear Grylls!

I was disappointed to hear that The Discovery Channel has parted company with my favorite British adventurer, Bear Grylls…
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network fired the 37-year-old host of Man vs. Wild, allegedly over his lack of cooperation on two projects he was contracted to do, this has resulted in Grylls having his agreement terminated.
A rep for Discovery confirmed, “Due to a continuing contractual dispute with Bear Grylls, Discovery has terminated all current productions with him.”
In response to Discovery’s statement, Grylls’ representative Heather Krug said, “Unfortunately, Bear and Discovery have not been able to come to a mutual agreement on new programming, and he disagrees with Discovery’s decision to terminate current productions.”
She added, “Bear has loved the Man vs. Wild journey and looks forward to producing further cutting-edge content again soon for his loyal audience.”
Grylls, a former SAS soldier, has swallowed many unsavory things during his time on Man vs. Wild, including drinking his own pee (eww!), however, I’m guessing accepting The Discovery Channel’s decision is probably one of the hardest things he’s had to swallow to date…

Jude Law and Ruth Wilson… More Than Just Co-Stars!

Its only been a matter of days since the news broke that Jude Law and new girlfriend, Ruth Wilson, were officially dating, and now the two of them have taken their relationship to the ‘next celeb-couple’ step, after being snapped strolling in the California sunshine.
The actors, who met on the production of Anna Christie last year, were spotted in a lip-lock only a month ago at London’s trendy Groucho Club, sparking rumors that the pair was more than just co-stars. And judging from these cozy pics, of the couple taking a relaxing walk along Venice Beach last Sunday, we can safely say the rumors are in fact true!
Wilson, 30, is thought to be Law’s first real serious girlfriend since he split with the gorgeous Sienna Miller… Well, the first that we know of, because lets face it, it is Jude Law we are talking about here!
An onlooker that saw the couple together in London last week said the pair weren’t “worried about who saw them kissing,” and were very much “an item”… and with Jude and Ruth looking so relaxed together here in Los Angeles, maybe this could be the start of something good for the two them.
Only time will tell…
Torchwood’s John Barrowman Cast in ABC Pilot, Gilded Lilys!

John Barrowman is known for playing characters that travel back in time on Doctor Who and more recently, Torchwood.
Now, according to TVGuide.com, the actor will be portraying a man born and raised in the late 1800s.
In a new pilot called Gilded Lilys being developed by ABC and producer Shonda Rhimes, Barrowman will play Julius Lily, the playboy son of the Lily family opening the first grand luxury hotel in New York, New York.
The Scottish–American’s co-stars on the project include Blythe Danner, Matt Lauria, Sarah Bolger and Madeline Zima. The show will reportedly incorporate an epic love story, a vicious rivalry, and a scandalous secret.
I love John’s work, and Gilded Lilys sounds like a project that is totally up my street!
