Robbie Saved My life, Admits Geri

Back in the late 90s Robbie Williams and fellow pop band exile Geri Halliwell were rumoured to be dating, but Geri has just revealed that he was actually saving her life!
Geri says that Robbie prevented her from dying of bulimia, the eating disorder that she has admitted she suffered from during her youth, and that without him it would have got much, much worse.
Talking to excusively to Britain’s Got Talent judge Piers Morgan on his Life Stories show, Geri said: “Robbie knew about my bulimia and he advised me to get help. He told me to go to rehab and that possibly saved my life.
“The bulimia would have got worse without it. I will always be grateful to him, always.”
Geri was 7st at her tiniest and has battled with food issues throughout her life. She was treated for bulimia at a treatment centre is Tucson.
And because they’d both jumped ship from super-successful pop bands, Robbie knew what Geri was going through.
“I became really close to Robbie after leaving the Spice Girls and it was a very poignant friendship,” she says.
“I was lonely and felt he was the only person on the planet who could understand me because of his experiences with Take That.”
I’m pleased to say, Geri is now happy and healthy at 8st.
And good on you Rob for helping a pop star in need – it’s very Elton John of you! Maybe it’s time to look your old mate Mark Owen up – I think he could use a bit of therapy right now!
