Jonathan Rhys MeyersI was sad when I heard my buddy, Irish heartthrob Jonathan Rhys Meyers had been arrested for assaulting a member of staff at an airport bar in Paris.

The Tudors star was apparently drunk when he threatened workers at ‘Le Quotidien’ bar in terminal 2F of Charles de Gaulle airport…

Witnesses say the actor punched one waiter in the face and started shouting ‘I’ll kill you all’ to other employees according to Britain’s Sun newspaper.

Er, Jonny my friend I think you’ve taking your role as Henry VIII a little bot too far perhaps…

I do feel sorry for him though, J’s been struggling with booze since his mother passed away two years ago. My sources are now telling me he has to appear before the Correctional Tribunal in Bobigny, near Paris, in September.

But what I still can understand is why Jonny’s demons seem to always get the better of him, getting wasted at an airport indeed… What on earth was he thinking!

Poor old Jonathan, this isn’t the first time he was arrested for public drunkenness, back in 2007 he got into a spot of bother at Dublin airport. Maybe he’s just really scared of flying.

Well he could always try popping a Xnanx – it’s much more relxing and the hangover isn’t half as bad… Then again knowing you Jonny you’ve probably already been there, done that!
