Holden The Front Page! Amanda Hits The States…
Posted on at
Another hot celebrity doing her bit for Brits abroad is Amanda Holden, who turned up the heat in a curvalicious Herve Ledger bandage dress in New York yesterday when she flew in to appear on The Early Show and CNN’s Larry King Live.
The sexy Britain’s Got Talent judge was in the states to defend accusations made against the show that it ‘exploited’ contestant Susan Boyle…
But Mandy still managed to take in some sights in the Big Apple as she strutted the streets looking more like a youthful version of Sex and the City’s Samantha while shopping with hubby Chris Hughs.
And I just happen to know that certain talent scouts in the US are keen to make Amanda’s move to the States more permanent.
A few years ago the well-known actress came over to Los Angeles to do the rounds, as you do… discussing work opportunities with well-known Hollywood bigwigs but not much came of it, but this time around I hear she’s ready to commit to it properly and is set on trying to crack it in the states.
A wise move, as I also reckon it’s high time that America finally got see that Amanda’s got talent too!

Had SuBo been pretty, slim, a few years younger would there have been the furore. The judges should be ashamed. This whole thing with Susan Boyle proves this: how shallow, superficial and judgmental people are.

I didn’t get the impression Amanda liked Susan Boyle anyway, why is speaking about her US TV, it’s only for her own gain obviously!

Isn’t she a mother? Where is her daughter, though, in all of this? There doesn’t seem to be any thoughts of motherhood coming before fame and money.

I’m sick of Amanda Holden parading herself on USA TV talking about Susan Boyle just to further her own career (Whatever that is). I too remember seeing her on Cilla Black’s Blind Date show

Amand Holden make it in the US??? Thank you Mr. Borg I needed a good laugh today and you’ve just given me it, Amanda is no spring chicken, she is 38 years old, that is past your sell by date these days in many respects. If it were not for Simon Cowell giving her this break her days in TV would have been numbered.

She is the only one qualified to judge??? Starting out your career as contestant on Blind Date onto acting in the Grimleys and Wild at Heart – both rather wooden performances if I remember. I am not aware that she can sing or dance? Oh and she came to our attention for marrying another entertainer who was more successful at the time. She is dull!

I started to think it was the Amanda show. Some times when she smiled it was so false. I for one won’t miss her. I can’t stand this woman, every time she walked down the steps to the stage I thought this woman really loves herself.

They should be doing more for Susan, I watched Holden on Larry King Live on YouTube and she didn’t seem to know what she was talking about.

The judges of this should be ashamed of themselves, what will it take to make them sit up and listen, a suicide??

Leave Amanda Holden and Susan Boyle alone please, there are much more important things to worry about in this world! With regard to Ms Boyle and the final of BGT; on the day the BEST ACT WON! If Boyle cant handle this sort of pressure she had better forget her ambition because she wont win every time, the reality is no one does, she had better harden up!

I think its good that Amanda is doing US tv, Simon is on too much and Piers though dashing just doesn’t have star quality

Amanda Holden is loving her new found fame, her career was going nowhere before Simon Cowell gave this job. The expressions of the audience as well as the judges the moment Susan Boyle walked into her audition proved that followed by the hysteria from Demi Moore et al resulting in the fall out. Before we judge another, I suggest we check our own mirrors first. Amanda Holden is as fame hungry as every bloody contestant on that show!

Amanda Holden – a pathetic Z list wannabe who will do anything for publicity. America should keep amanda there, we don’t want her back.

So while Susan Boyle is suffering Amanda Holden is swanning around New York being followed by the press… I agree Holden is fame hungry! Surely you remember she started out her career as a contestant on a show herself, I remember seeing Amanda Holden on Cilla’s Blind Date. FAME HUNGRY!
