Susan’s Gone Off The Boyle…

I have to say after reading the many articles written on BGT’s Susan Boyle, I have since gone right off her. Yeah I know – call me fickle why don’t you.

But when the so-called ‘Youtube‘ singing sensation first stepped onto our computer screens with her debut, like everyone else I couldn’t get enough of her. With her ‘plump’ figure and frizzy grey perm she looked like somebody’s sweet old nanny and we adored her – all 286 million of us!

But in the weeks that followed the heart-warming performance of “I Dreamed a Dream” that even got Piers Morgan all teary-eyed let’s just say I think SuBo’s ego has got way out of control, especially if the reports in today’s UK press are anything to go by… Sue has gone right off the boil!

Following the mother of all makeovers the British media has turned on the wiry-haired witch, and is printing stories about her alleged foul-mouthed, four-letter rants at hotel guests in London. It seems Miss Boyle – the 48 Year Old Virgin from West Lothian, Scotland – is fast learning the high price that comes with fame.

Sure, we all knew the warbling wonder would make it through to the semi-finals last Sunday as the world sat watching, but sadly her performance was way below average in my opinion as she sang her version of ‘Memory‘, going slightly off pitch in the first verse.

However, I’m looking forward to watching the final and intrigued to see how she fares with the public after the media backlash. Half the time the public don’t care what’s said in the papers, but if silly Susan keeps pulling those diva-style strops before she’s even a proper star, then I think in this case they just might stop voting for her… It’s been known to happen is the past, so Susan Boyle take note!
