Anna’s Going Back To Blighty And It Friels So Good!

I overheard this little piece of gossip at the Cannes Film Festival on the weekend, that Anna Friel is heading back to the UK to play Holly Golightly in London’s West End and if all goes well, she might well make the move a permanent one, or so I’m told… Oo er, this could be a wise choice for you Anna my dear!

2009 got off to a pretty bad start for the Lancashire lass when her show Pushing Daisies, was axed by the ABC Network here in the US after its second season, and now rumor has it she is said to be considering quitting Tinseltown for good… Shock, Horror!

US beckons Girls Aloud Singer Sarah? Hardly Harding!

I love Girls Aloud but I simply roared with laughter after reading stories in today’s press that Hollywood was [allegedly] beckoning the talents of sexy singer, Sarah Harding.

After starring in a BBC2 drama - Freefall with Mamma Mia hottie Dominic Cooper, which airs later this month (in the UK) she’s decided to pursue a bit ‘on the side’ (acting that is, not Dominic… of course!)

Madge Has An Edge… Still!

Some shrieked “oh no” when the style icon we know and love turned up last night to the annual Costume Institute Gala in NYC. But Madonna still managed to upstage every major celeb in attendance.

No one should ever criticize her for trying (well you could have a go if you like), however as ‘our’ Madge – now in her ‘nifty fifties’ turned up looking like a high-octane version of SATC’s Carrie Bradshaw in her final hours of life, pumped with Xanax washed down with one too many Piña Coladas…
