Seacrest: [to Simon and Paula] “Get a Room!” – Cowell: “We did!”

On Thursday night the question on host Ryan Seacrest’s mind (and mine actually) was what on earth was up with judges Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul? The pair are well known for their past “on and off” screen scraps, but the other night we were seeing a very different story… Perhaps…?
When Seacrest addressed the judges’ odd behavior during the previous night’s show, pointing out the fact that Simon and fellow Idol judge Paula “couldn’t keep their hands off each other,” newly single Simon who recently split with Extra’s Terri Seymour completely surprised the audience with a two word answer…
Ryan asked, “What was with you two last night, what is going on between the two of you?”
They deflected the question, and when Ryan suggested they “get a room,” Simon excalimed, “We did!” Once again fueling the rumors of a possible off-screen romance. And judging by their school yard antics verging on pulling pigtails, what next?
Simon, known for his dry sense of humor was probably joking with his remarks I’m guessing, though one can never tell when he is serious or not. Like with his recent comments on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, when he claimed he turned down a dinner invitation from President Barack Obama.
Well whatever the truth is behind this one, Paula definitely looked a little shocked to say the least from Simon’s cheeky outburst.
But what if? We’ll be keeping our eye on you two!
